So iam a mega alt-aholic. why can i not transfer influence/infamy to lower lvl toons from my high lvl rich ones? seems like this is such a simple thing and would help me greatly as well as lots of other folks i am sure

new2this,
this feature is in the works. There will be transfers via the mailbox. I can't recall if it will be in Issue 17 or Going Rogue, but its very soon. Do note, however, that it probably won't transfer from red side to blue side and vice versa. Influence and Infamy are considered two different currencies.

Your name is incredibly apt, for you might not know that in the currently closed-beta tested Issue 17, players will be able to send in-game emails to global handles and also attach Inf/items to each email to spread resources around without a middleman.

The only big limitation is you can't send cross faction. Heroes can take attachments from other heroes, villains from villains but not between Heroes and Villains.

I believe we will be able to with I17 . If I'm correct we will be able to email inf to either our toons only or maybe to a different player . If I'm wrong someone will clarify it .

Sure, it's coming in I-17, but we don't need it.
You can already do this several different ways.

1) Transfer via the Market. (One character puts a low demand item up, other character overpays for it.) Any server, but same faction, small transfer fee.
2) Make arrangement with another player. Any server, cross-faction if agreed. (Some may charge an exchange rate.)
3) Drop valuables into base storage, have another character pick it up. Same Server, Same Faction, Same SG.

What else do you want?

Edit to Add: Every character in this game can be financially self-sufficient, not like what I've heard of other MMO's.

Are you serious? You can't be serious.

As others in this thread have already stated...you will be able to transfer influence/infamy when either I17 or GR comes out.

"What else do you want?" Haha, classic.

That would be great--you know what I'd like too? I'd like the ability to switch my characters from one side (say blueside) to the other side (say redside) and vice versa. And I'd also like a new zone as an alternative to Atlas Park and Mercy Island. And maybe some new archetypes would be good too--how about a new ranged set and a new MM set?

Nah, that's probably too much to ask for. *twirls handlebar mustache and climbs back on unicycle*
Too bad, really.

Wish granted.

I know you were being sarcastic, but it had to be done!

Don't hold your breath for permanent costume jetpacks though Those take decades to develop.

Good gravy! What sorcery is this? *Scoffs* What's next, the ability to customize the colors of our powers? The option of a second build for our characters? Next you'll be telling me that we only have to be level 20 to get access to Epic Archetypes! *shakes head and laughs at own ridiculously implausible requests*

I heard they were going to add PvP.

...What?

Yes, we definately need to add the ability to Email Inf in I-17. That way it'll be even easier for RMT'ers to transfer Inf to thier customers and thier "bank toons"!
Awesome!

Bah ******* humbug.

I think the people who will use this feature the most would be solo players. It really won't have that much of an impact for dual boxers (I'm guessing most RMT'ers fall in this category), and people with trusted friends (my girlfriend and I trade inf around easily and frequently). I would guess that most RMT'ers have multiple accounts and just do the old dual box swap. I doubt adding this feature will open the RMT floodgates or anything, although I do understand your concern.

I heard they're going to include some feature where if you don't play your toons for like ten days or so, they get more XP from enemies for a while.

Just sounds like wishful thinking on part of the players, though.

I'm thinking in terms of delivery from RMT company to customer. With the customer having only to give his global name, rather than any more account details, he would feel more secure in doing so.
Making it 'feel' safer would seem to me to be something that would encourage more players to use this service, whether or not it is safer in any way.
They still run the risk of credit card fraud and such, of course.

Unless I'm wrong in how the RMT<--->Customer interface works, since I'm making assumptions.

I don't really care about a player Emailing Inf and such to his own characters, since such transfers are both unneeded and possible under our current system. I just see very little need to be able to do so in a player to player manner. Sometimes legitimate players will want to trade with each other at a distance much larger than can be handled by our normal trade interface (what is it 15-40ft?), but how often does that really come up?

Oh please, they might as well give out badges for being logged out. Maybe different ones for logging out in different places.
Rediculous.

I think it's funny how so many people have replied (with the same answer) to something that one person could have easily answered =P

Now that's just crazy talk. You might as well ask for Co-op zones where heroes and villains work together. Madness!
