    This is an all purpose general PvP build for an SS/WP, I didnt put IOs cuz idk ur budget.

    The build does not have haymaker, RttC, nor tough (dont need those)
    The build does have Phaseshift, taunt, webnade, Heightened Senses, SoW and Aidself (you might need those at different times).

    they need to proliferate traps to trollers... grav/traps would be viable in zones. As it is now with the time you need to lay down all that junk is just too much even if PvP 2.0 is slower than before. If all trap powers were like sleet or quicksand etc. it might turn out to be a good set in the right hands but right now nah... especially if you can roll a rad or therm or even cold there's no rhyme or reason for traps in pvp. but GLHF anyhow.

    One quick question; what server are you on?
    your son's MM is a good start for PvP, it's sturdy in body guard mode and it can provide decent support provided that you stay near him. I recomend making a bind for BG mode if he decides to play that toon. A good complememt to the MM is either a corr (therm or rad) or a dom.

    On hero side i suggest rolling the classic blaster empathy combo, where blaster is fire, sonic, rad, or psy with either em or dev and the emp with all necissary buffs and heals along with a good hold in his attack. Also make sure to get phase shift and or hibernate for your pvp toons, it will come in handy. k GLHF.

  11. In SC your missing Heat Loss and Sleet 2 of ur biggest debuffs, but its still not too bad cuz you have infridge and benumb. Since ur sonic you dont have to get those sleet debuffs in so u'd be ok in 1on1 situations. Ive notice in SC people phase when u phase unlike in RV, so phase isn't gonna save you from a spike as often. So in RV with hiber and phase u'll be better off. Offensively in RV you have access to webnade; with that plus snowstorm and you can put on as many debuffs and slows as you like, but its not as bad as ilostcount suggests for SC especially if you team alot.

  13. you need butt loads in moolah to make it worthwhile. For kickball, the slows are still good disruption and if ur good with sleet it can debuff to, but rad is still better for arena IMO. its still in the top ten for a dueling build, but for zones ur not going to beat regens especially cuz there's so many and they can still run away from you where base is safe. I think its one of the rare FotMs that actually require skill and knowledge of the game to play effectively unlike alot of the other FotMs that seem to just throw sharks, HEs, 140' psi attacks, etc.
  14. ya i agree with nanu. As a grav user i spam a few grav holds and immobs to get them just slow enough to Force Bubble them as my team kills them off. I think slows take way too long to set up and the other team can speed boost which means no slows for you evarr. Slows are still effective in duels and in more drawn out fights like maybe 2v2s and the occasional solo zone run ins.

    I'm not focusing on duels otherwise my list would be different lol. Anyways alot of good doms (in general as in don't have to be earth/nrg) can beat down elec/therms cuz dominations up enough where they can bring way more greens. And the cold can make ur 12 sec stun last 5 and make it never up much. And i put my money on a good mind/fire than a earth/nrg /nrg makes it crap even if it can make ur stun last a bit longer lol.
  16. stacked siphon speed + webnade + glue is the quickest way to slow them mofos down. All the other ways require too many combinations of powers and would prolly kill one of ur teammates or urself before you can get all those powers down.

    wow con, ur terribad at fight clubing (u have no fight clubytits) remember a good fight clubber like a boxer only uses jab and punch maybe a kick sometimes. If a toggle is put on u than u bust out the KoB + the Aid self. See by putting KoB in ur Fight Clubbing attack chain you will only hurt ur DPS and ur DPE lol i did the math.
  19. hmmm not a great toon for dueling... competent blasters, corrs, MM, doms, regen scrappers, will beat it down. If it were SS/fire corrs, MMs, regen will beat it down, But i think your going for the dueling only other melee toons thing right? well in that case WP, Fire, Regen, and even some DA toons will beat it down. WTH?!?! what makes everyone say elec is good than? It is good. High resistance + a big heal means it can take a spike and keep going kinda like Inv. But don't let me convince you how to play to a set's advantages. If you are bent on fight clubbing with a SS/elec i'd first suggest rerolling it into a elec/SS, second get aid self and six slot it, put procs in ur attacks, use proced out jab and punch only. Oh stand under the globe in RV to get fights but don't run away when you see a large group of blasters comming at you kk GLHF
  20. Since your a rad, try to get on teams. Set up a bind that says "such and such is debuffed" this will make competent players on ur team attack that target. Adjust ur team size by how busy the zone is. If it's mostly dead, solo and hope to gain that 6 rep for the kill. At busy times, try teaming with blasters and a healer. GLHF.

    Pvp questions!

    WP is good for zone PvP where spikes are subtle and takes time to complete. WP is also good for fight clubs where damage is taken over time. WP is not good vs loaded damage (commonly found in organized PvP) and it's not good vs debuffs (which is common in PvP) SS is good for taunting since rage has +tohit. SS is good for attacking since rage has +dmg and hurl is ranged.

  23. Corrs are the best AT on vill side IMO so for primaries stick to rad, fire, or sonic. Good secondaries are therm, pain, and rad (rad and pain more for teams). IMO, doms are redundant when you have blasters in the game, but if you roll one go with Mind or grav and fire or elec. Or wait till GR comes out with elec controll i have a feeling it might be good paired with elec assault.
