when it does this, ive noticed that its usually the fault of a power thats hovering right where you double click on enhancement tab and sometimes prolly accidentally triple click and the 3rd click usually hits something like rest
  3. im prolly the opposite lol

im one who is in favor of being able to kill civies in mayhem mishs

this is really good job, i actually did a double take to make sure it wasnt a actual cimeroran boss

the only way to unlock patron powers is to run a patron arc, thus heros HAVE to become full villains in order to unlock patron powers

one you unlock the patron powers for that toon they will remain permanently unlocked for said toon even if you switch back to hero and respec

villains on the other hand are automatically granted access to APPs at 41 without having to side switch

it currently still doesnt work, however, there is currently 1 way to get the other side spec badges

if you have not used the respec from the trial from 1 side and you switch sides and do a respec it will award you badges beginning with the lowest trial and going up, however the ONLY way to get these is if your respec badge from the one side still says "talk to so-and-so to claim this respec", if it says you used the respec your SOL on that badge

i tested this on live with my main, and he has 5 of the 6 respec badges cause he didnt use the 2nd and 3rd respecs he earned in the trials, so im still missing the first hero respec badge until they fix it

    To MaestroMavius:

The position the devs have taken has nothing to do with game balance, It's simply that respecs aren't intended to be used to strip characters of enhancements. Re4specs are designed to let players tweak their builds and correct poor slotting/power choices they feel they made.

However as the game evolved and they added things like multiple builds they acknowledged that people may need more respecs to make those corrections so they added more ways to get respecs. As it now stands there are more respecs available in the game than anyone ever needs for any one character.

    To the OP:

The game has plenty of ways to get more than enough respecs to strip any character of it's enhancements.

Trial Respecs - 3 allowed per character
Vetspecs - 5 allowed per character
Patron Respecs - 1 allowed per character also available to heroes that switch sides and run the patron arcs
SOA Respecs - 1 onlly available to VEATs
Purchased Respecs - Unlimited but they don't stack
Freespecs - Unlimited but they don't stack
Respec Recipes - Unlimited but they don't stack
Holiday Respecs - Unlimited but they don't stack

If you aren't willing to aquire the respecs that have already been made available to you the suck it up and deal with it.

    To everyone in general:

Out of curiosity has anyone tried doing all the respec trials on one faction then switching sides and doing the respec trials of the other faction to see if they would be awarded that factions trial respecs?

If that works that would open up 3 more trial respecs for players.
ah thx for clarifying that, what i heard was what just passed along from another thread
  9. yes it is true that your entire team has to deal at least 10% of the dmg

i know on some of the ship raids some teams like to jump the gun and 2 teams can take out the GM almost before the other teams even notice

best thing to do is monitor your chat and as soon as someone says the GM is up prepare to target it until its dead

yes this was changed with GR

all IOs which have a 120 sec effect when placed in toggles will run continuously while the toggle is on, but will turn off when the toggle turns off

if placed in click powers it will last the normal 120 sec after the power is used
  11. seeing as nobody actually read the i19 overview:

    Quitting teams

this type of thing is already applied to tfs, flashbacks, and AE

for regular teams i cant say if it would annoy me or not, but if there was an option to not ask for regular teams then it would be fine
  14. i been using the alignment merits i been getting for directly buying LOTGs for the tons of toons i have which will need them lol

if purps were cheaper say only 10-15 alignment merits i would prolly save them up more
  15. i think castle even stated somewhere that we were lucky to even get 10 slots to be able to strip enhances to

so yeah, this isnt prolly ever happening
  16. statesmans base resistance gives him a good bit to most dmg types

when he hits unstoppable, it adds around another 52% resist on top of what he has (except psi)

most of his resists will be 90% or above except to psi which will stay at his base stat of 20% psi resist

doing -resist will help a lot if you have anything that can do psi dmg, and doing -regen will help a lot as well, same with -rech

one reason he will go up to full hp real fast as well is because he likes to hit dull pain, which heals him by about 12k hp, and then increases his max hp by the same amount, and the higher max hp will make him regen more hp per tick since regen is based on a % of max hp

another note to add is his unstoppable is on a 5 min rech and has a duration of 1 min 40 sec, so you only have about a 2 min 20 sec window to actually hurt and/or kill him before he pops another unstop

fun fact for silos sf: all of the heros are AVs except for infernal and malaise as they are only boss rank signatures

GW is also only a boss class signature and scorp is only a pet class signature (both of them are allies and usually die within a few fights because they are insanely weak vs the mass amounts of AVs you fight)

domination does not affect pseudo pets

examples of this come to mind with volcanic gases, the sleep patch in elec control (dont recall name atm), and synaptic overload after the first hit, none of these powers receive a domination boost aside from the first hit on synaptic overload because you have to initiate the chain
  19. something that would prolly be easier to implement is in another version of earth where recluse killed statesmant sort of how cole killed stephan in praetoria

now thats a world i want to see, where "evil triumphs over good because good is dumb" lol (whoever gets the quote gets 5 internetz lol)

Perma-domination essentially cuts out the time needed to build it back up again, allowing you to just go on the first time you build it when you enter the mission and then keep it up until you complete it. It does take a lot of recharge, Hasten is really necessary, and from there you need IO Sets that give recharge. AFAIK, it is not really possible to achieve perma-dom until your 30s, and it only really comes into its own (with double or triple Dom) at 50 with purple Sets.
hasten is not necessary to get perma dom, but it does however allow you to make a cheaper build for perma dom

the final build i have planned for my earth/fire/fire dom will have 140% global rech without hasten and you only need about 123% global rech for perma dom (with 140% global rech ill actually be able to get perma hasten since i dont plan on dropping hasten, with hasten my build will be at 210% rech)

if you want to see my pre-i19 build for perma dom (which will stand at 117.5% rech with no hasten) i can get the mids info to post or can PM me

and as another part to that, the villain alignment power frenzy [temporary powers.frenzy] will fill domination bar to 100% when used giving you a quick star domination
  22. ill prolly only respec a few guys because the current respec system is too bulky to mass respec toons

my dark/stone brute im not gonna bother respecing because i like his build as it currently stands and getting inherent fitness over 3 powers that would be nothing more than LOTG mules wouldnt benefit him much

i will be speccing my earth/fire/fire dom, i am very happy with the change for him because adding another 22.5% rech will put his final build at 140% global rech with no hasten for the awesomeness of permadom without hasten

most of my other toons arent even to the "building stage" so i will still be eventually giving them a respec anyway when i get around to working on them
  23. from what ive heard CIT has been behind on a lot of things lately due to the loss of several staff members

i stopped tracking on CIT when GR came out because it took them almost a month after to even get all the badges updated

best thing to do right now is to just give them time to catch up
  24. since the power has both enemy and self for target, my best guess would be that the performance shifter proc would affect both the targets and self since both target and self have an end mod component

But the Rularuu weapons I wanted to see redside just because they look evil and would fit on many players concepts of their toons. I am afraid this is a mute point for the side specific costume options and the badges that unlock them now as toons can just switch sides to pick up the badges they need and then switch back or w/e.
rularuu weapons can be gotten redside, there are about 4-5 mish arcs you could do with them or you could farm one of the mishs for the overseers
