Rikti Master at Arms GM
yes it is true that your entire team has to deal at least 10% of the dmg
i know on some of the ship raids some teams like to jump the gun and 2 teams can take out the GM almost before the other teams even notice
best thing to do is monitor your chat and as soon as someone says the GM is up prepare to target it until its dead
Since he IS a GM, yes, I believe that the usual GM badge rules apply, which is that your team has to do 10% of the damage to get badge credit toward the GM.
From the wiki:
When defeating this monster you would have to have done at least 10% of the damage to it to receive an award. This would mean 10% of total damage done to the monster, not its total Hit Points. This includes any damage done by opposing NPC mobs that the Giant Monster may have been attacked by before you defeated it.

Do i have to start being selective about who is on my team? This is NOT the usual NC soft mode of operation. If it is - it makes me sad |
Here's something you should know, since you didn't know this:
Doesn't have to be player damage. If Eochai and Jack are fighting for an hour in Croatoa, and then you and a team decide you want to beat up Jack, well, chances are, after that amount of time, you aren't getting the badge, because you didn't do 10% of the damage they've taken from spawn to defeat.
Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.
Someone said your "team" may have to get at least 10% of the damage. Is this correct?

And no, you don't need to be selective about who is on your team. You just need to make sure you're not on a team of 2 surrounded by teams of 8.

These last two weeks have had very bad timing with U'kon. Two weeks ago, someone pulled him early and my team wasn't ready for him. This last one, there was an overabundance of magi and a lot of people who just decided to stay dead rather than hit the hospital and run back. I need just one more kill for badge and both times were painful. Hopefully this next run will work out.

On Protector server we have a weekly wednesday night raid.
Participation is high.
We are very successful in getting bombs and the GM.
For two weeks in a row I have gotten hits on the GM (confirmed on combat report)
For the last two weeks my count has been stuck at 8...no advancement after GM was defeated.
What exactly has to happen for the count to go up...My support ticket said..by senior GM..no error occurred.
Someone please explain how I can get it to go up..
