    elusivity is something thats applied to all defensive powers of any AT, effectively making defense based toons half as effective in pvp, so 80% def normal including the elusivity in pvp would reduce that to maybe 30-40% (not sure exactly how it breaks down if someone could explain better)

    if its just playing through normally and such, i wouldnt mind all that much, i need a few things to do in game anyway, so ill join this

    since im joining, i might as well also post my story arc:

    arc name: Another Nemesis Plot?
    arc lvl range: 45+
    arc difficulty: medium (has a few AV/EBs in it but i supplied 1-2 allies in the mishs to give aid)
    arc length: 5 mishs, very long

    ill be sure to subscribe to this thread for suggestions, and im already a member of the MA arc finder channel in game (ill also take suggestions via PMs, i usually prefer higher lvl arcs usually in the 45+ range)

  5. QQ: do you have to participate in the club to post an arc? because im not much of a story oriented person, but i do have a story arc that i would like to post for this
  6. usually stuff like this goes into the technical assistance and bugs forum

    from the looks of what may be happening, it sounds like you need to do a "verify all files" from the updater or reinstall the game

    the error about a corrupt map usually points to an error in the installation

    theres 4 types of DE pets, cairns, tree of life, fungi, and quartz

    • cairns: +50% resist to all (so 2 of them would cap resist on any DE)
    • tree of life: +regen (i think amount similar to unenhanced spirit tree), prolly the least annoying of all the DE pets
    • fungi: each one gives 10 pts of mez protection, these are only a real threat if you are a mezzing AT like controller or dom
    • quartz: +100% tohit, which completely nullifies defense, these are prolly slightly more annoying than cairns but both together is just awful

    EVERY time this has happened to be it was because i was sk'd, even if i changed zones if i was still sk'd i couldnt roll anything

    i know another reason, AE wont let you roll tickets if your sk'd (i dont remember about exemping, but i know if your sk you cannot roll tickets even if you have 0 recipes in inventory)

    this is why it wouldnt be implemented because its 1 player requesting the devs to make a gamechanging modification to the game

    while i would really like to be able to convert AE tickets to merits, if the devs did implement this i would not mind a high conversion amount (500 or even 1000 tickets per merit)

    that is why i suggested such high conversion rates as the beginning of the thread because getting to the 1500 tickets on most maps is fairly easy and quick to do, especially for specialized farms like fire offense enemies vs a fire armor brute with capped fire resists

    one of the main reasons i dont do a lot of stuff in AE is because you cant get purple recipes from AE unless your doing a dev choice with normal rewards

    while it is a change that would interest me, i highly doubt it will happen at all or if it does happen the conversion ratio would be extremely high

    right now the gold rolls only seem overpriced because you cant make 8000+ tickets on a single map anymore like we could before the map ticket cap was implemented
  11. i think she has a large amount of lethal dmg resist since she is essentially a robot

    if she has around 50% lethal resist that cuts your dps in half, which will make it so you cant do enough dmg solo to get her

    i see what your saying, but i doubt it will be that good of conversion ratio (for example see the sg registrar inf to prestige)

    also the alignment merit to buying purples/pvp IOs is a little extreme as well

    200 merits takes like literally less than 15 min to get in most cases, and a single map can make up to 1500 tickets, which nets to almost 7 reward merits by your formula

    you also have to take into the fact people make farms based on their toons strengths so they could blow through it and make 1500 tickets in less than 20 min

    i see what your saying that 5000 for 1 merit is prolly a little excessing but i doubt the devs would go as low as 200 for 1 merit
  14. idea is good, but the exhange rate would be too too good

    gold ticket rolls cost 4000 tickets, i wouldnt expect 1 reward merit to go for more less than 5000 tickets

    the bug is if your sk you cant get any costume drops (i think exemping also bugs you to not get costume drops)

    out of season, they can spawn randomly from turning in costume salvage

    or guarenteed by completing the tarikoss sf, or the katie tf (i think its katie, plz correct me if needed)

    difficulty settings do not affect ToT spawns, the ToT spawns are completely fixed and based on team size only

    Zombie invasions are a serious nuisance when ToTing solo, and when they start I just leave the zone or find a mission. I know its going to be what feels like 15 minutes until the stupid thing is over, so I just make myself scarce.
    this is why i dislike zombie invasions, zombies are worth crud xp (i checked it and the xp from zombies is equal to fighting a -4 enemy)
  19. cold dom is pretty easy to make end non issue with the heat loss power, however that power is lvl 38 power so it wouldnt help in early lvls

    rad emission is also a light end secondary unless you have the debuff toggles on, and accelerate metabolism boost end gain making it less of an issue and you get the power fairly early on

    kinetics also has a power which makes end a non issue too but that is also a later power (lvl 35 power)

    as for the primary, they are all fairly equal in terms of end, just need to make sure you slot right on them

    the only event that i personally dont like very much is the banners event, everything is fine because its more optional and easier to do with more varied team sizes


    something i would possibly like to see though is for them to put a candy keeper in PD by the ski chalet door so we can use candy canes the other 50 weeks of the year lol

  23. havent really had any issues with this, i know plenty of good ToT spots so when me and friends cant ToT in one spot we got to another, one of my fav spots is in RWZ (no zone events there and the spot is just outside the vanguard base so easy to go and QM the junk)

    on another interesting note you can investigate the halloween tips in RWZ as well
  24. ive never noticed fake nems to be that much more xp, but i think they have the bonus due to their PFF (although i have to agree with tyger that warhulks are more annoying due to all their AoE, kb, and post death explode)

    this has been noted several times in the official mids patch notes, they havent been able to make a toggle type thing for that vet badge so they just made it available to everyone, so you have to know if your eligible to pick travel at 6 or have to stay normal
