It's definitely not part of the Energy secondary effect themes. But it seems we all agree that %kb and %stun aren't very useful for Dominators.

I did consider the impact on a future Sonic Assault, but concluded that it would be ok to share, much like -Def is shared by so many sets. A Sonic Assault set is certain to have more AoEs.

Just roll them back some. Probably, half what they are now. In the end they would be able to achieve higher res than what the current system allows, but with the help of tough and other armors.

The thing is, you don't want to penalize too heavily people who want to have a tough squishie. It just was ridiculous when one toon received multiple team buffs and was essentially, a tank mage.

Cross faction chatting has to stay. Half the trash talk is rpvp anyways (have you seen those crazy guys from Jupiter in RV lately?).

Sure trash talk is a bummer, but along with the bad is good. Like "Wow, you pwned me, did you have the placate IO in will dom?" Ans, "Yep, works real nice, you almost got me there btw." or "Think of making of X/X like yours, how do you like it?"

However, another good portion of trash talk is: "Wait till I14 comes out and your FoTM fort/tank/sr whatever will be OMG PWNED"

If a well balanced, unbugged PVP system was in place, I think that will cut down on the trash talk a lot.

Just wondering, got tp'd several times with my /EA. Don't think I was mezzed most of those times (one time I was).

The difference here is that this would be a 'zone', and not some sort of menu system in a kiosk where somebody has to go and set that up.

In this case, it would be a zone where pvp is allowed on a limited basis. Although, anybody could go and attack anybody and defeat them, the consequence would be a trip to the local jail where they would have to break out or wait some sort of time period. This is of course if they fail to 'challenge' someone or that someone refuses to fight.

Also, this zone should be FFA and allow for teaming across factions.

Yes, the current pocket d arena is essentially this; however, think of it as a non-resolving ffa match that the server has setup and it has a zone sort of feel (random mobs, minigame etc.).

I guess we need a zone where pvp is off until a challenge. Or, maybe peeps can fight anybody, just have to go to jail if an unchallenged fight (1 min after attack, lb or arachnos appear. Upon contact, attackers are sent to a jail facility in the hospital).

They nerf elusivity this issue so they can introduce Elusitivity IOs and Elusitivity global buffs next issue.

Maybe they are testing the extremes. Hopefully, the final result would be somewhere in the middle.

However, the other day I fought an Ice blaster. Wow, I forgot how much -recharge was a problem. He must have had it PB'd or something. I went through my chain, and was left thinking, 'Now what?'

Lol, I was the blaster pew pew'ing you in SC. You kept getting killed while hidden because you kept coming within range of the SD tanker's AAO, which suppresses Stealth and Stealth IO, at that point we were able to see you with just Tactics + Perc IO.
