  1. Gabe has stated multiple times that the company would breakup rather then sell out. The rumors, which NCsoft denied, said they were going to buy out Valve for 893 million. HA, Valve has been estimated to be worth 1 billion to 4 billion. Not to mention Valve already turned down EA and they offered them 1 billion. So to ease your mind, Valve is not and will not sell out to Nexon.

  3. I am on Shandris US PVE but none of my rl friends play anymore so I would be willing to xfer if there was an actual CoH guild or what not on a server.

    A fond farewell.

This is a difficult post to write. I knew this day would come eventually, never thought it would be so soon. It seems like yesterday when a friend showed me the game for the first time almost 7 years ago, and my love affair began. I made some great friends in Paragon, from Darcanthia, who became one of my best friends in game and out, to Firesprey and many others. I lurked most of the time so I don't know many of you, I regret that, I regret not being able to play with more of you over the years. Maybe I'll see you in game on Virtue before the sun sets on this wonderful game. So I bid you all a fond farewell.

  5. I'll try Marvel Heroes when it hits, but until then I have no clue.
  6. I would suggest they make everyone's account VIP for the little time we have left. I was gonna renew this month. This sucks, been around for 6 years with multiple accounts and still didn't do everything I wanted..
  7. My Spines/Dark Scrapper is, well was, my strongest hero. Right now he is on the shelf because I had to let VIP lapse for awhile. He was completely IO'ed and +3 and could stream roll pretty much everything I threw at him.

Personally, I do agree that it's a bit of a shame that instead of choosing to better write and develop Statesman, they choose to kill him off. But at the same time I understand the reasoning behind it, which is: This guy was a symbol of the pinnacle of power in the game and now he won't be, that's the player's role.

So ironically, Statesman was chosen to die because he is the toughest. But on the plus side, if we look at the guy in a more positive and tragic light, he's earned this, after more than a hundred years of life. A life that has seen him lose countless loved ones and friends, lose the ability to relate to his fellow man, and every day lives in fear that the Well of Furies could take him over and drive him to slaughter everyone for a cheap laugh, he's earned his rest.

This right here, Statesman is toughest in the Phalanx, he is the only incarnate. He's the Superman of CoH. This is Paragon's version of DC's Death of Superman. Is he gonna come back? We don't know, I personally think he will. They might not actually kill off Marcus Cole, they might just kill off the Statesman persona.
  9. Keyes is the hardest IMO, though I haven't done MoM yet, but it just looks time consuming with having to fight all the nightmares at least once.

As for the easiest, Apex, TPN, and ITF. In no real order. I got MoTPN my first run at the trial.
  10. Yeah because he isn't gonna be broke back in the last part, I called this at the beginning of the arc. This is CoXs version of The Death of Superman.

My problem is this build is really expensive, I wanna be capped to M/S/L but I cant afford this without serious investment. Just wondering if someone had a cheaper build with M/S/L capped.
  12. The thing I don't get is how they can charge people who bought bought all three boxes, CoH, CoV, and Going Rogue, for Controllers and Masterminds. He paid for Controllers when he bought CoH and he paid for Masterminds when he bought CoV.

Edit: I found this out when my friend who has bought all the boxes came back yesterday and has both ATs locked out.
  13. I just run my Spines/DA scrap though a claws/regen farm. I sit and watch tv while doing it, only at +1/x8 though. Sometimes if I feel generous I will run lowbies with me.
  14. That is alot of pages for a big red ball.....but I want one too , that is once they figure out why I can't log on I tryed all of their "fixes", I wanna play, and I want my BRB!

New CoV accolades (heard of 2 so far: Megalomaniac & High Pain Treshold)

    [/ QUOTE ]

Any info yet about the requirements for these and the bonuses they give?

    [/ QUOTE ]
High Pain Treshold I was told gives a bonus to max hp, not sure how to get it though and I had not even heard of Megalomaniac.
