Doh, reading comprehension and stuff. Yesh. And I just yelled at one of the guys in the Pit for not reading their tickets right.
Gah. Gotta go apologize.
Welp, to the OP: I'll be there, right on the dot though. I've got a couple of tanks in that range, an emp healer, various scrappers, and I'm trying to get a controller in range this weekend... so... let me know :-)
Thanks :-) -
What time on Oct 1st?
If it is a bit later on (and Joe's not running anything), I might be able to be there. -

Well, in that case, we need to lobby our authors to submit and get their arcs done in time.
...plus, we probably need to help test 'em... -
CoH_ArchitectAwards@paragonstudios.com
Folks, please support Captain Power, Kinetic Kitten, and our other Freedom authors and submit their arcs for the rewards program!
If we act cohesively on this, we might even get a good plug for all our people!
Edit: Details and stuff. -
Quote:oh... ITF... bridge... AOE's.... muhahahahahahahahahahahaSorry E. I didn't mean to imply that she was being called because of lack of good Tank-age. It was because there was a lack of players in general. lol
In reality, I think I want to bring my NRG/NRG Blaster as well. With Myrdinn and I on the team... prepare for LAG! haha
Erm, oh yes. Thanks for... erm.
Novatime!!!!
Edit: Oya's a fast typist. Grr back ;-) -
Quote:Aye.Founders sounds good to me.
What time is good for everyone? 10ish (Eastern)?
(oh, and I do the same thing... I've got a "Myrdinn Dark" laying about on the redside. I've had him in one form or another since the blueside came out. ...need to level him, one of these days...) -
Sheesh, and I win the "Great Laggard" award from the welcoming committee.
Welcome to Freedom; ve are vrey good here. (May I suggest you take a gander at Luna's schedule). -
Freedom's Prime.
(seriously. It was the original beta server, before we all split up.)
Thus, you are not an immigrant, you are just coming home.
Welcome home! -
(small voice) Can you add Childe to the altlist?
-
I'll be here for both, with the En/En blasty type. (unless I can bring the PB for the first one)

Quote:Sounds like fun! We need to setup a day to run this and Kitten's arcs, since we didn't get around to it last night. Anyone up for that Tuesday night?Quote:I hope to try this tomorrow CP! I was going to run it last night, but my SG actually logged on, and I wanted the time to read everything, so I knew I wouldn't be able to do that with them around.
I really like the idea of Captain Negative (did I get the right name?) Love the picture!
I'm sure its the same great work you have always done CP! I look forward to running it -
Quote:We were a typical mercenary group who used salvage clauses in the contracts pretty creatively. Especially with one of the players being very proficient at Death From Above attacks with his medium mech. We salvaged quite a few "decapitated" heavies.
Loved that move; aye. Great way to scavange and salvage.
Oh, and your Murder Macross Maurader of Doom? Hrm, veriah interestin'
...barely resisting getting out the old 3025 books from the basement lockbox... -
Quote:If you want a fast spotter, just go a LAM for a 45 tonner. I was a fan of the post-3025 weapon systems, don't get me wrong, and the ArrowIVs were fun to play with.I could do well with a couple of Mechs with a couple of ArrowIVs apiece and a fast spotter (I'm talking 45 tons of engine and jumpjets with a TAG system and small laser). I could do fairly well, I think.
Just still annoyed at the Clan invasion, and all the "kiddies" (sheesh, I'm only 33 NOW!) who went Clanner for the tech/etc. just to beat those of us who had spent considerable time building up a good force. Lost a good portion of my battalion (worked up from a lance) and my planet... in ONE weekend when the Clans came in. ;-)
Kept playing for a while though, got better tech; and retired my piloting-1, gunner-2 character due to old age by the end of it. -
Hecto Mundo. I have this scrapper idea... when I get more character slots...
Seriously? Um. It would be easier to describe places were they can NOT go. Like, time of Alexander. We've already done the back to Rome thing; time travel in that regards might feel too familiar. Smack-a-Hitler. We are fighting Reichsman and the Natzi cronies... so time-travel to the forties/thirties would be... a stretch. However, time-travel to the forties to fight Al Capone/Marconi/Hitler and a switch over to the Time of Alexander to make sure the Incarnate origin survives until Roman times... we COULD have a TF that is all about a Temporal Cold War.
So... any idea is actually open, if packaged right.
Me? I want to know who is writing us letters; I'd to know if Nemesis really did reform at the end of time and space... and is trying to rectify his former ill-policies, or if Oro is just one more Nemesis plot. -
Quote:That's right; and the Victor's AC outweighed the Marauder's by a good margin. The original Marauder had two PPC's, two med lasers an AC/10 on the back. This was pre 3050 clan rules. Still more than enough to be intimidating. Quite a few players stripped out the PPC's in favor of large lasers for the savings in heat.
Pre-clan rules I relied on Archers and Catapults. Again, I have something of a long range playstyle. Give me a couple of Centurions or Enforcers as watchdogs and things were good.
The Derail continues.
Pre-clan... I'd have hated that mix. In-direct fire LRM companies used to be my bane; working around and through Cents/Enforcers... wait. You didn't happen to run a company like that up in Chicago way back? I remember a championship wherein I fought a company with that kind of mix back in the day. Hardest fight I had, back then... and I think I lost to it both by points and TOE damage. -
Absolutely love seenin' 5th and Council fighting in Boomtown/etc. Warms the cockles of my heart... murderou-erm, righteous zeal into arresting the fascists of both flavors.

Quote:That's the Marauder II. Marauder I's were 75 tons, two ppc's, two med lasers... and an autocannon. I *think* it was an auto-60; I don't remember atm exactly what it was. A 75-ton Marauder I with nine ppcs would either be paper thin on armor, or automatic heat shutdown after firing a salvo.3 PPCs? No no no! I had NINE! I remember more than once instantly exploding after taking a shot! It was pretty damn hilarious
I *do* remember ripping out the autocannons, med lasers, PPCs, and running a modified Marauder with four or five large lasers (pre-clan invasion) and the heat sinks to handle the load. Vas hated. Hated very strongly. Moved to that modified 'Mech after my original Centurion bought it in a fight with the Light Horse (got too arrogant, too happy with a piloting 2, gunner 3 character who was basically playing peek-a-boo holding down a command lance). -
Quote:Pshaw. Clan kiddies. Why, in the old days, I could hold an entire ridge with just FOUR Marauders! Against a company and a half of Kurita's best!Atlas was an oversized piece of crap.
You want *** kicking awesome sauce? Timerwolf.
Pure unadulterated win!
(well, four Marauders, and a Victor. Awesome to have an assault with jumpjets, back when most stuff didn't have jumpjets). -
Uh... hey! Waitaminute. I'm not certain, but I think... huh?
... yes. I time how long it takes me to get to work and back. *hangs head in shame.* I keep the data in a nice spreadsheet... from every place I've lived to every place I've worked since I was twelve. I can conclusively prove I've gotten more complacent about getting to work early, on-time, only-six-minutes-and-twelve-seconds-late-on-average, and when each stage on that continuum happened. (By the time I retire, at this rate... I'll be, on the median, roughly thirty so minutes late every day, assuming linear progression)
Yes, last lady I dated, upon breaking up, suggested I watch the "Big Bang Theory." Thus far, I've seen one or two shows. Might... know... a few of the stereotypes.
...ignore my drawings of a nuclear powered locomotive. *sniff* Still want to build it, though... and a track to handle it. One heckofa turbine. Anyway. -
I should be here as an alt (just barely), if needed. (Getting home right at 8:52 pm CST on Thursdays, with a deviation of a minute and twenty-eight seconds)
-
I honestly can't say it enough; if you want pure fun in the game, Freedom Horde (the rough circle of social folks) have a blast and a half on Mondays/Wednesdays/Thursdays/Fridays/Saturdays. If you are looking for people who just have fun, can't go wrong joining up with them/us.
Wish my work schedule was a little less intense; I had/have a blast with them on most nights that I can get in-game.
