Welcome to Freedom!
We get a bad rap from some of the other servers, but you will find a very solid group of people here, if you take the time to put yourself out there and interact with us
I would suggest you take a look at the global chat channels listed at the top of this forum, as well as keep any eye for upcoming events here in the forums.
I know from us "forum regulars" we have events running almost every night of the week. So if you see something that strikes your fancy, please sign up and come join us!

Thanks, though it might be a little late for "welcome" since I've been playing on and off on this server for over a year
I went ahead and joined the "Freedom Events" channel. Almost seems like an SG all its own except without a base xD
Looking forward to doing some more organized events instead of just doing random PuGs all day
Welcome to the boards!!!! I would suggest you join the "Freedom TF Chat" channel. Most everyone who posts on the boards and attends the Horde events uses that channel. Hope to see you in game soon.

Whenever you see someone call our server "Freedumb", just /facepalm and tell them, yet again, that they're misspelling it. It's supposed to be spelled FreetUrgenev.

And, to the OP: Welcome aboard to Freedom. Sorry it took so long for my personal welcome wagon to come rolling into the thread, I'm usually more proactive...

If you are treasure hunting on a battlefield wearing an enemy uniform, there is a high probability that you will be attacked.
This is an enjoy-the-ride game. "50" is only a number, not the goal of the game. - Noxilicious
Well welcome to forums. hope to game with you during an event in the future.
Sheesh, and I win the "Great Laggard" award from the welcoming committee.
Welcome to Freedom; ve are vrey good here. (May I suggest you take a gander at Luna's schedule).

So I've been playing CoX off and on for quite a while now, mostly on Freedom. I don't have any 50s due mostly to my altoholic nature as well as inadvertently deleting toons I didn't think I'd play anymore (usually before I took a 'break' I thought would be more permanent).
Right now I'm leveling Gaiadin, my 31 Shield/Stone tanker who I'm confident I'll get to 50 as he's amazingly fun to play.
I've never really posted on this forum. I've played several other MMOs and never really contributed much to the server forums there either because in other games most everything is taken care of in your "guild". Since I haven't had much luck with SGs (mostly I've just seen them as another means of transportation as I seem to either join dead ones with a handful of people on who rarely talk, or ones that are active but a bit too 'hardcore' for my tastes, although I myself would probably be classified as a hardcore player I tend to enjoy CoX in a more casual light) I was looking to become more active on the forums here since it seems quite a few events are organized here, and also joining in on one of the global channels as well. I'm growing a bit bored with just making radio teams all day long and want to be a part of something a bit...bigger.
So anyway, just wanting to let everyone know I'd like to do my part to become a valued member of the community here
