A little detail on the video itself:

This video I must admit this video is absolutely hilarious...one of the best D&D films ever made.

Sorry bout thread title rushed through too quickly.
  3. I had this issue a little while ago with my villain, who is an original Primal. All I did at the time was open a bug report on the issue and was awarded the badge soon after.

For most common power questions, you are more likely to get valid input from players who actually took and use, or tried, a power by asking in a server global channel, your Supergroup members, or your coalition members.
I would take a lot of advice from people in this thread that know scrappers. That is why people come to the forums and make threads asking for advice I thought.

Most times this is on tact with media storage, such as blank media (CD-R's, DVD+R, etc). While this is not the best tact in some cases it does circumvent the issues of record labels not getting their money for an album.

While this article is a few years old, I did find that the RIAA is not a fan of you cpoying it either for personal use:

Another article from a couuple years back stating new changes they wanted to make
Link, it has the PDF of what they imposed to the gov't to change on this.

Also the RIAA is trying to take down the Radiohead album "In Rainbows" even though it was release online for any cost you wanted. Link

A lot of people would in this. I do not care if you download for personal use, that is your choice. Distribution is a different case. In all cases the artist and consumer needs to be looked after, and with most laws how they are I feel they are treated inadequate, and the RIAA, and record labels reap the benefits.

Still thanks to these new media streams (digital downloads, youtube, etc) they have brought in new fans, and more ticket sales to their shows. I know I have found tonnes of new bands thanks to the digital age with sampling and testing out new music.

Also just to clarify a few points also...I do buy albums at concerts from the band themselves, and support them in any way possible (outside of Record label.) I have a large library of movies I have bought from wherever since I felt they were worth the purchase. Then my book library is ever increasing. While I do not buy like I did when I was a teen only a few years ago, my tastes have refined to spend my money more wisely and get something that I will enjoy as a whole, rather than only a small slice.

Yes cause I do think playing a game equates to real life. In a game I do not care if I die...it is like falling of a bike, it stings...I get over it and learn from my mistake I did.

Unless you specifically made a character to see how long to go before dying and if you did die delete it. In this case it is ridiculous in my eyes.

Just like in any RPG characters die...it is apart of how the game goes, and you have to learn to move on with it.

This causes prices to rise, and causes even more people to use the "I'll download it" train of thought. Yes, adults will make their own choice in life, but it's not just adults downloading stuff without paying for it.

Taxes are a wonderful thing that helps quell certain issues. A "piracy tax" which gives money to the company losing it is, helps stop the inflation you talk about.

Tip missions are silly and short most of times, but sometimes I lost a lot of time in a huge map with non clear objetives.
Never had a problem with lvl 50 vill tips, on my hero, or villain toons. While they do have some of the tougher NPCs. Also at lvl 50 why does it matter if you "die" on a mission or not, you are not gaining XP.

There is the obvious stipulation that there is no income to be made from the media and it is only for personal use.

My opinion on this issue is that once a movie is available on public television, then it becomes acceptable. Also games and software are acceptable after 5 or more years depending on if a) there is no equivalent product like the King Quest Series DVD being sold or b)the company is no longer making any money on the product. If I wanted to download a copy of Windows 95, then it wouldn't affect Microsoft sales at all.
Well freeware, or vaporware can be anything goes since companies have released the source code for the games, or the original game itself.

If you wanted something like this you would need to have a tax added on either to storage media, or on cable/internet. That would coupe the company/industry for the downloads of this.

IMO I think the copyrights laws in the US are flawed to a degree, but this is neither here or their.

Also for people shouting you should not do this! If people are downloading something it is their choice and they will live with any consequence that they get from it. If it is not hurting you in a sense, let it be, cause adults will make their own choice in life.

  12. I put this build together in comparison to what you have. I took ideas I did with my cold/sonic def, and converted into a corr. My own preference I do not like Sirens Song, and Dreadful wail...I think you could use other powers/slots better for these. I added in Screech to replace sirens song, and it is good to have once and a while.

Also I skipped the capped range and went cap S/L...it is much easier to achieve imo and can work in some more rech if needed. So here is the build I made up...there are other tweaks that can be done (mainly adding more purps)

    Here ya go though:

    Best of 2010

    Best graphic novel:

Neonomicon - Although it is not finished up yet this so far has been one of the best series I have read in a long time. Art is suprub and breaks many dimensions in the world. Also with Alan Moore writing it is sharp and dark. Runner-up : Kill Shakespeare.

    Best superhero fiction:

X-Force/Uncanny X-Force - Out of most of the superhero stuff I get this was my favorite, mainly cause I love Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost, and Mr Choi penciling. Also cause they brought in some more X-23 which is always nice in my books. Runner-up Deadpool Merc With a Mouth.

    Best movie:

Inception - I love the idea on what this brought foward. With a stellar cast of some of Hollywood's who's who, it meshed great. The point that drove it home, that I kept coming back for more, wanting to break it down and see how it works.

    Best album:

Dimmu Borgir - Abrahadabra : I was worried for a while with this album, once I leared that ICS Vortex & Mustis were out of the band. Dropping the concept albums they were planning made this gothic/black masterpiece. Hints of Lovecraftian, eerie choir, and a full fledge orchestra, this made an album of epic portpotions. Runner up: GWAR - Bloody Pit of Horror.

    Best TV show:

The Walking Dead : Nothing better gave me more happiness than this TV series...the only problem I had was it was only six episodes. Runner up - Durham County.
  15. I will try to help as best as I can for this.

From what I have been told about Jolting chain it is very useful, since it is nice soft-control knowback which not a lot of NPCs have resists to. If someone could confirm/correct me that could help.

Gremlins, for teaming they should help. I do not mind the extra damage that they do give out and will help on solo work if you do it. To me they are like the other pets Doms get.

Also for slotting/tips here is a build I slapped together I am planning on doing it could help you get an idea on what you might want to do:

  17. Ok I have a new concept idea that I want to do. My plan for the build was to get soft-cap for Range. Unfortunatley I have feel short roughly 11 %. I was wondering if there is anything I could do to make some tweaks/changes to get it to that magic point. Or should I just get the Nerve Alpha for +def? Also try not to include purps if possible...I try to build on a cheap budget.

  18. Ok so I finally got around to do my alpha slotting for my brute...but trying to figure out what the Alpha enhancement is usually best to add in. I have been leaning towards Radial Boost from Cardiac or Nerve.

Also just got some Hami-O's Acc/Dam...and looking for some input to how to max out slotting for SL.

I'd say yes to co-op zones like that. Where heroes, and villains do not work together, as BrandX is saying. There is competition between the various factions. So while it is a zone where the various meet up, there is no cross teaming.

When in doubt just think that The Ultimates 3 and Ultimatium never happened and we have some good series.

  24. Well I scrapped this Elec/Psi together...looks good from what I see. It is a perma-dom, runs close to 55% res S/L, and recv/regen pumping. Also should be good with AOE work.

  25. Elec/PsiA then you will have a mix of a lot of stuff going on -end, -regen, -rech and for you +regen, +recv.

It could be a nice combo together since you want to be in melee with Psi when you have Psi shockwave and Drain Psyche. Also from Elec having Conductive Aura you want to be in melee so it could work off each other quite nicely.

Also Energy being low on resist tables, and psi either having none (or maxed) could make it a nice combo. There is synergy I see there. Elec/ice I would have to look into more to see cause I have not looked through icy assault.
