Dont get me wrong I want them to take time and get it right. I have just never understood why you would give any kind of time frame if you dont think you can meet that deadline.

Did August 17th get moved to July?

This argument is exactly why I use two builds. Going run a TF as the main tank? Switch to "team" build with taunt and beefed up Defense/Resist. Going to run with one or two friends? switch to "solo(or whatever you want to call it)" build that has a little more damage and no taunt.

Both are equally fun to play and do what they are intended. The answer to the original question that has been stated many times in this thread is: Build for what you intend to do. If you plan on tanking for an 8 person team and effectively hold aggro, then you may want to take taunt if you dont have a lot of auras or quick attack chain. You really dont know if you can effectively hold aggro until you try it out.

Last and defintely not least, have fun. This is a game, not a combat simulator. If you arent having fun, you are doing it wrong!

This is off topic, but did CoX used to publish the number of subscribers that they had? I thought I remembered numbers being published, but that could have been speculative. Anyone else remember that?

I agree with the OP(at least as far as the need for advertising goes). If we dont see where the advertising dollars are being spent then it pretty much means they are not being spent that well. I am surprised that I do not see this wonderful game advertised in comics and comic publications more. A long time comic book store owner asks me every now and again if I still play "That superhero online game". I always answer yes. To this day he has not seen an ad for the game save one that was in Wizard about 8 months before launch.

Still not seing the line connecting "mutant" and the costume sets we are getting. Maybe its just me though. I must have read different comics as a youngster than others.

Not what I envisioned for the Mutant Pack at all. Don't like either one of them. But hey, one man junk is another man's treasure so I'm sure they appeal to a lot of people. Maybe they are some other costumes that are going in. Doubt it but you never know.

Maybe we can help the OP out. I have numerous toons that have a bunch of halloween salvage. I would be willing to part with some to help the OP out. I could email it to the OPs toons and they could turn it in trying to trigger an event by themselves. Just a thought.

I am going to use the same tool the Massively writer used, a guess. I guess that there are 87,342.78 subscribers. Yes this in fact means that there is .78 of a person subscribing to the game!

Weapons worn on the back/hip/etc. Quivers, holsters, scabbards, etc. More animal/beast options. Robes.

Name purges will not yield much until they start purging accounts regardless of level. Starting at accounts inactive for 4 years for example. If you have been gone for 4 years are you coming back? If you do, should your names have been kept for you?

To clear up confusion wouldn't it just be easier to say Loyalty People get invited these days Vets these days and Hero Con these days? That way no one would need to ask.

You know I was thinking that I should just take a shot at logging in, but when I did the server was down for maintenance. Now if I just didnt have this job taking up all my time!!

If there is a last day they will be sending out the closed beta invites for Dual Pistols closed beta? Just wondering because I am impatient and a 60+ month vet.
