If you are a 60+ Vet...

please holler at me if your NOT in the DP beta??!! I am (a vet), but still have not gotten the invite. Did I offend Positron at sometime or something. I'm starting to get a tich paranoid here. Well, that and I have been chomping at the bit for GR and Dual Pistols. Not so much the Demon MM, but for sure the DP. It is no violation of NDA if you are NOT in the Beta and say that. Danke. I guess misery just loves company.

And for the forumcops out there the question is "Could you please drop a note here if you are a 60 Vet and NOT in the Beta?" There ya go Alex.

I think this might better be addressed by PM'ing a redname in charge instead of trying to gather a mob and handing out pitchforks.

Put in a support ticket perhaps and then update it if you have not heard back. I think you will have better luck getting some help that way.

Email or no email, you can always try logging in to the test server and see if you can get in. Also, closed betas normally have their own forum. If you can see it, then you're in, whether you got the email or not. They used to put things like that in the Development section, but now that we've merged the American and European forums together, I would suggest looking in the top hierarchy of the forums, rather than within the Development section of any specific language.

But if you're really not in, them I'm not sure what can be done about it.

Today we begin a short Dual Pistols Closed Beta with players who we hope will push this power set to its limit and give us the kind of feedback we need to make it the best it can possibly be.

The Dual Pistols Closed Beta will be hosted on the Training Room. While the Training Room is normally available for players who wish to log in, it will be closed to anyone outside the Closed Beta until the start of Open Beta.

Closed Beta invitations are being sent out via email within the next couple of days, so please keep an eye on your Inbox to see if you have received one.

Remember, in order to get your Closed Beta invite, you must have your current email address on file with your NCSoft Master Account. Now would be a great time to go here and check.

We hope you enjoy testing Dual Pistols and look forward to your feedback in the Closed Beta Forums!"

It doesn't matter whether you've gotten the email invite or not (as has been evidenced multiple times in multiple threads, past and present betas, some people NEVER get their invite).

Just log into the test server. If you can get in, you're in! You don't have to wait with baited breath.

Another option is to go to the top level of the forums. If you can see the closed beta forums above the English section, you're in! You can go log into test. You don't have to wait for your email invite.

Note that even if you don't get your email invite, signing into test is agreeing to the virtual NDA.

Blanc, it's entirely possible that the invites will be sent in waves, and if you didn't get in this week, you might get in next week, or for the next wave of testing.

While it's annoying, the 60 months invites were only meant for GR beta. This technically isn't.

Not even a 24 month Vet yet, but I did have the loyalty thing and did get my invite, but I almost missed it because hotmail put it in my junk box, even though stuff from NCSoft normally goes to my in box.

Might want to check there.

So yes, all 3 of these groups get in on the Beta. Unless they mean Military Vets. Of which I am one of those too. So I guess I'm good to go either way.

No email in Junk folder or otherwise. I'll just have to try to butt in on the Training Room.

UPDATE: Able to get onto Test. Guess I was invited after all.

So here's the deal. The point of beta is that it's confidential and they want to be sure that people in beta are mature enough to not go around spewing the details on public forums.

So here you are, in a public forum, complaining to the users rather than people who could actually fix this for you. Perhaps you were attempting to be ironic.

What are you going to do when you get in there? Test and /bug or test and /bcast about what you hate?
