So here's the deal. The point of beta is that it's confidential and they want to be sure that people in beta are mature enough to not go around spewing the details on public forums.

So here you are, in a public forum, complaining to the users rather than people who could actually fix this for you. Perhaps you were attempting to be ironic.

What are you going to do when you get in there? Test and /bug or test and /bcast about what you hate?

No. I've run Win7 as early as January 09 and as recently as last night.

Probably just maintainance and patches. It was working fine 7 hours ago.
