  1. I was just on a magi led by @Ukase with a 16 person league, and no pets during the Tyrant battle. Also 1 person dedicated to each light.
Tyrant dropped faster than a hot potato.
  2. I had 5 successful runs on liberty, then some people left (everyone that typically runs trials on lib) and other people joined. We failed hard. People would not stay out of the lightning, they were using regular attacks on the light pillars, wouldn't go to the hosp.. etc and I assume none of them knew how to open their chat window.
I don't want to feed into the idea that freedom sucks, because I have never played there, but on liberty I saw the magi as the easiest and the hardest trial ever in the same night based on who was playing it.

    Water Blast!

Blocking yellow seems like a sure thing, but I have a blood/blood corruptor that will be real sad if he can't re roll.
  4. Blaster role should be damage, and tons of it. Also they should get a significant amount of inherent ranged defense so that playing at range actually has an advantage.

if you really mean to level lock at 33 to get the recipes that work at level 30 one of the corruptor primaries with a crashless nuke would pair well.
Would a /kin without fulcrum shift be that good? Im not expecting awesome levels of performance, but relative to non-farming it should be a better way to get my recipes that are sometimes hard to find on the market.

I was hoping to stay at level 30, but I really needed the slots up to 33 anyway. This is what I have so far, and Im not even sure if it would be functional with form of the soul.
Capped fire resist, 2 purples from the fire def softcap, and 4 aoe attacks.
Seems like running a duo might be the better option though, considering how much this build sucks end.

  6. What would be the best powerset combo to lock at level 30 for AE ticket runs?
I was thinking staff/fire because of all the aoe attacks, but when I put it in mids it doesn't look so good with the lack of slots. Is there a much better combo for this, or should I just cut back on my number of attacks?

True, I hate DE. Still, with ~50% resistance to s/l (assuming tough) without SoW and over 40hp/s regen with no enemies in range the smashing hole is not as big as it would seem on first glance.

Alternatively stacking enough DA would probably allow you to cap positions, even if it isn't synergistic.
Capping melee, lethal, e/n/f/c doesn't leave a "hole" IMO. Yeah, smashing is open, but how many attacks do you know of that have smashing without any of the other types you are already protected from? Hurl boulder and a few attacks from earth control/earth assault. You also have decent resists (capped with T9) to those attacks. That is MUCH less than what is left from the psi hole of other sets IMO.
  9. I also don't ever clear the map on my brute. I like to run up 900-1000 tickets, then I get to the ticket cap with as much of the mission completion bonus as possible. When the map gets cleared to the point where you have to search around for the next thing to punch, you are losing efficiency by continuing.

lol Im not sure how to be constructive in here I don't care about THB's bragging how awesome drain psyche is, because I also use it and agree that it is awesome. Looking down on anyone for not being able to afford multiple glad procs (his presumption anyway) is just pretty bad.

A more on topic question for the number crunchers in here:
What can arch/mm do that dp/mm can't, hypothetically? What about fire/mm, rad/mm, x/mm? Is the crashless nuke actually so awesome that archery blows everything else away in damage? In my non-blaster brain I would think anything /mm should do everything in THB's list at a competitive rate. I know that my plant/psi/fire dom has godmode, but I just can't stick with a blaster long enough to see how it works on the rest of them (I won't play archery/ on account of me hating it so much).

When 1 other player is on the map bosses are added. You really should consider binding an insp combine to your movement keys to keep your damage capped if you want to increase your kill speed.
  14. Has anyone actually seen what bio armor looks like yet? I have a whole swarm of bug characters that could be re-rolled depending on what it looks like.

500 merits are easily worth more than 100 mil.

  17. Elec control for sure, you can pair it with anything dom or controller. I have an elec/psi dom and an elec/ rad troller and they both sap pretty hard.
  18. Checking in game right now and it looks like it does not.

Anyway, I think I've been around much longer than you...on the forums for MUCH longer, that's for sure. I have no idea where you think this is a handout. Tons of people post builds. I really don't know what your damage is? Maybe you're a special needs child and if so then I sincerely apologize for the snark.
    .
People do post builds all the time, free for everyone, but it's not polite for scavengers to ask for them directly

    staff forms?

You can see them in the in game numbers, the end discount hits around 39% and the +recharge is 15% or something close, Im not in game ATM. I dont remember the +damage
  23. The lore healing pets have been a huge waste of incarnate salvage for me.
Phantom spirit essence will give me adrenalin boost, then watch me die slowly.
I have a battle orb essence that I got with the intention of its heal freeing me from mez, but to my knowledge it has never used its heal yet. Ever. Not once.

Big gap is probably the wrong phrase to use, but the +def from staff goes really well with wp. It already has def to e/n/f/c, but little to s/l. This means wp is prone to be hit by attacks with the tags: s/l and m/r/aoe.
If you take lethal and melee out of there you will be hit by smashing damage that is ranged/aoe without any of the other damage types (assuming set bonuses should be focused on the other types in this combo). That is very few attacks that I can think of. Combined with good s/l resistance and amazing regen staff/wp should be more godly than wp alone.
