Game requires too much maintenance. Too many bugs to fix. Sub par production<see party pack, see dog>. Too much mod not enough player feedback. Not enough devs. Too many things said and not delivered. Bases ignored for too long. Long standing bugs ignored for too long. Not enough perks to claim anything is "vip". Business model, not F2P model. Pointless arguing on the forums, also see "attacking someone for having an opinion". Lost interest. Moving on. -

I'm still trying to find a reason to resub. I'm left wondering whatever happened to that talk of base transfers. I'm left wondering where all the actual development ran off to hide. I'm glad the business model seems to be doing fine, it would be nice if some development focused more on VALUE. There has got to be some better ideas to come up with something that has global value to turn a profit. These vanity pets and purchasable powers are nice and all that, just not gonna get any money from me until I see quality value. Whatever happened to base development? One upgrade ...that took years to get.... and poof silence... again... Where's them color-able tiles? -floor and wall- wheres them sg transfers? wheres them base buffs? increased salvage? Wheres the benefit for large active sg's? What is the relevance of development when all we have now is "buy the next powerset, costume, emote, inconvenient underdeveloped detoggling vanity travel power"... you get the idea... I was under the impression that a business model would allow for more development and hiring to get things more streamlined as far as development and quality of life goes...
I'm thinking someone dropped the ball and its showing like a gaping wound.
I'd go further and say someone reliably dropped the ball, but the last thing I want to do is hurt someone's feelings, or get someone fired...
I dunno. Maybe I just need a hiatus and maybe quality and effort will show and wow the heck out of me.
... or maybe I will just know better than to bet on that horse... if that sounds familiar it should, because this position of disinterest... is familiar to me...
I refuse to call anyone in the industry hacks, or slackers, I really don't like those words especially when using them in these forums about my fav dev team.
I just wish the money would show up on time and deal with the issue of arrested development for once.

It's one thing if NC doesn't have the resources to dedicate to a constant policing, I can completely understand that. <If that's the case, then say it is>
It's another thing entirely if someone somewhere has something "going on" that would invoke prevention on eliminating a side business involving the purchase of inf. <a symptom of trolling>

It does work, but it requires the masses in order for it to work.

Not all of them hang out in Atlas, Iv'e seen them in every WW from time to time, with names similar to sdjfhg, ccvmmkn, ghkklkj, you get the idea. -
i think one thing that should be taken into account is the Insp combine macros that can be created.
I know you would like to have a build that doesn't rely on them, but the key is damage output. the insp are supposed to be your defense as well. I think you are attacking the problem from the wrong angle and you really should take a look at this.

To the poster's credit, its always funny when players in a PvP zone become upset with getting killed while they are conducting RP events, farming or badge hunting. If they say, "Im just here to get the so & so badge", Ill leave them be...but when its, "you dirty mfing, son of a b!%$& !!! go eff yourself!!!", then Ill try to farm them until they leave and maybe they come back with some manners.
I was under the impression that recipe drops were only a chance every five minutes after a kill, and if those "Pinks" really want to sit there in pvp, waste all that time just to nail a chance to get a something or other that might not have much value, -and then wind up fighting over it later- then by all means let them.
In defense of the OP, it -is- a pvp zone, so... yeah there shouldn't have been any assault for doing what comes naturally in a pvp zone.
I mean really, what do you expect is going to happen when you see a line of afk'rs in a friggin pvp zone?
It's like setting a popsicle out in the middle of a summer day in July and expecting it to not melt.
Other than the assault from the Pinks, I fail to see any violation here.
