  1. Once I asked for someones build when I was on a villain and he was on a hero in a PvP zone, so I can get ideas for power choices on my AT with the same primary and secondary powers. He told me to "**** Off !!!" I logged off my villain and logged onto a hero and just did a screenshot of his power choices and built my AT with his power choices and I did my slotting. I guess I slotted better than he did because later on I won 2-0 on a duel.
  2. I got a Rad/EM to 50 and changed the power colors to match a PB and when I got done I wanted to make a WS version with a hero AT and the closest I got was a dark/dark scrapper and got him to 27 and then deleted....lol. It wasnt my style.

Just specifically looking for a combination that people think are challenging to play in general.
I heard DP/Dev is Challenging since it lacks build up and aim.

    Maybe Energy/Ice or something? I don't know.

Thank you for your kind replies!
I was in the same situation before and I just decided to make a Pure Build for a challenge. I have a Elec/Elec Blaster, Ice/Ice Blaster, Archery/Dev and recently I made a Psi/Mental blaster and each one I had fun playing. I know some set would have been better combination but it was nice to focus on one type of secondary effect.
  5. Do I think Illusion would be bad for Doms? I dont think It would be and it would be a nice set, but I do think it would be better for Masterminds with adjustments to the indestructable pets.

P.S. I rather see Dark Control with Dark Assault for dominators or my idea for Riot Control with Rifle Assault for Doms.

    Thats why I have a Ill/Emp

    Blaster PvP

I like archery because I feel like I am shooting fast and nobody can see where it came from....lol I love it when someone says "Where did that come from?!"
  9. I like to PvP with my Epic AT's, but currently VEATs suck in PvP so that leaves my PB. I like the challenge and it make me feel good that i am not playing a common PvP AT.

    AoE lawnmowers

Believe or not, but I turned my fortunata into a AoE machine.

Aim + Spin + Soul Tentacles + Psychic Wail + Psychic Tornado + Dark Obliteration = is my attack chain.

I teamed up with a fire/kin corr for the fulcrum and Speed Boost to help with the recharge of Psychic Wail.

    Peacebringer Duo

The Peacebringer is a great self-contained power house. It'll perform better in the role of hard target killer and tank. Because Warshades' numerous utility powers are dependent upon enemies, alive or dead, to fuel them whoever runs it would be able to take advantage of ever larger spawn size in safety. A Warshade would also bring a good degree of control, something PBs lack in comparison.

So if you can make it work with your concept I'd definitely advise you to go with a pair of TriForm Khelds. One PB and one Warshade.
I was going to suggest a WS and a PB because I also think it would make a great Duo, but he already have a concept for the PB's. Either route you go just have fun and enjoy your Kheldian.

    Thanks!
If it was me I would want one person to be a Human/Nova and the other member be a Human/Dwarf. This way both of you can handle aggro and range damage. Make sure that both of you guys get Glowing Touch to heal each other when needed.

I would do something like this:

    Human(range)/Dwarf
    Luminous Blast

    1. Gleaming Bolt
    2. Glinting Eye
    3. Gleaming Blast
    4. Proton Scatter
    5. Build Up
    6. Luminous Detonation
    7. Pulsar
    8. Glowing Touch
    9. Photon Seekers
    10. Dawn Strike
    Luminous Aura

    1. Incandescence
    2. Shining Shield
    3. Essence Boost
    4. Thermal Shield
    5. Quantum Shield
    6. White Dwarf <- Main Form
    7. Reform Essence
    8. Conserve Energy
    9. Restore Essence
    Speed Power Pool

    1. Hasten
    2. Super Speed
    Fitness Power Pool

    1. Swift
    2. Health
    3. Stamina

    Human(Melee)/Nova
    Luminous Blast

    1. Glinting Eye
    2. Bright Nova <-Main Form
    3. Radiant Strike
    4. Build Up
    5. Incandescent Strike
    6. Glowing Touch
    7. Solar Flare
    8. Photon Seekers
    Luminous Aura

    1. Incandescence
    2. Shining Shield
    3. Essence Boost
    4. Thermal Shield
    5. Quantum Shield
    6. Reform Essence
    7. Conserve Energy
    8. Quantum Flight
    9. Restore Essence
    10. Light Form
    Speed Power Pool

    1. Hasten
    2. Super Speed
    3. Flurry (Just for another melee attack)
    Fitness Power Pool

    1. Swift
    2. Health
    3. Stamina
  13. Lately I have been seeing a some Kheldian's in the PvP zones and I was wondering why do you PvP with them? I know when People PvP with Blasters they want the damage, Scrappers want the survivability, defenders want the buffs/debuffs, tankers want the HP and armor, etc.... (for the most part)

What draw you to the Kheldians when you enter the PvP zone?

    -def

Like people mentioned above the Procs you are able to place in -def are really nice and cheap. I want to slot Achilles' Heel (chance for -resist) and Fury of the Gladiator (chance for -resist) on my PB's Solar Flare and use it in mobs. The damage procs is where I get most of my damage on my PB for a PvE build.

If these 2 face off, who would win?
IMO if they both had the same skill lvl then I would say the blaster because of the burst damage; however if insp are turned off and the blaster cannot heal then I think the defender would win.

    Ice/? Dominator

I lvled a fire/fire dom, plant/thorn dom, elec/elec blaster, dark/dark defender and had a blast doing it. I think you should go Ice/Ice for thematic pairing, unless you plan to use it in PvP. I am not a RPer, but I do like matching primary with secondary powers.

  19. I was in the military a few years ago and I remember training on the use of a bayonet. We had to learn how to use it in close combat and we even did an obstacle course with our rifle with bayonets attached and had to Slash the dummy from shoulder to opposite hip at an angle, Stab with all our force behind it, slice the where the stomach would be on the dummy, and even had to learn how deliver a powerful butt stroke with the buttstock of our weapon. This is why I beieve that Rifle Assault would be the perfect combo of range and melee for a Dominator.

  20. I could see a Grenade Launcher Control or just a weapon selection.

What kind of melee could you do with a Gatling Gun for Gatling Assault...lol

I am a big guy and I would even have trouble swinging this around to pistol whip someone...

I put Piercing Rounds back in there. I was thinking after seeing the movie Avatar and seen the big blue people beat the hell out of the human with the Bows, it made me realize that they can turn Archery into an assault set with Bow Melee. Trick Arrow can be converted to a Primary Control set. They are so many great ideas out there that can be created for a devices based set that can be played as a Natural or even a Tech theme for Doms and Trollers.

    7. Double Barrel - Melee High DMG(Smash), Foe -Recharge, -SPD, Knockback (Same animation as Ripper except with guns)
    8. Piercing Rounds - Narrow Ranged, High DMG(Lethal/Special), Foes -Res(All)/Special
