I had a hard time soloing him as well, but I finally just set up some good keybinds and he was a piece of cake. basically try to keep the 2 punks near u for when recluse summons the boss mobs, you gotta be quick and have the punks target each boss and send them to another spot as far away as possible while spamming heals on bruiser.
If you can send them far enough away while running to another side you can have them de-aggro you and your henchman. It's tricky but can be done. -
I know many will disagree with me, but my MA/SR scrapper solo's AVs (granted i carry a hefty amount of blue insp's even with stamina)

Uhm did you check your fight settings at the fortunata/hero corps person?
You won't fight bosses unless you specifically choose to by changing your settings, so that could indeed be your problem. -

this happens quite a bit to me too, at least every other elevator regardless of what mode and commands my pets are given. even if you try to individually or team teleport them back to you, they start this "sliding" type of animation and are unresponsive drifting thru the walls.

I would just like to personally add that the whole Poison secondary is as close to overpowered as you can get in this game. For me it lives up to and exceeds the hype. Infact /poison is the hands down winner of all secondaries for the MM. especially with thugs you should be nuking AV's / Heroes out of the park with hardly any scratches to your henchmen. But if you still feel you don't like the poison set, why not try traps or pain, both of those are also good for thugs (traps being better IMO)

Well I decided to give redside a shot and indeed the content is more challenging. Just that the market SUCKS real badly, and you hardly see anyone unless you're near a black market
Otherwise its fun, just made a Thugs/Traps MM. -

Not sure if this is against the forum rules, but didnt see anything bout it....
Soloing my blaster has been a real PITA and I was wondering if someone could help me power level it. I am willing to offer 2mil each level as well as giving you whatever purple recipes drop if they do and rare salvage
(currently lvl 26) -
Ok I am nearing 38 on my new archer / devices blaster and was wondering a few things about this skill.....
1) It automatically attacks any target? or does it hone in on the target I have selected?
2) Will my XP / Influence be reduced when fighting an enemy that the Device hits?

another question if I may ask...
Lets say I have 3 Luck of the gambler Ios with the 7.5% recharge and 3 different defense buffs to place 1 into (hover, maneuvers, tough, weave, etc)
Will I be able to use all 3 to have a total of 22.5% global recharge reduction? (i ask because it doesnt say "unique" on it. -

Hi everyone, so I recently added a Touch of lady grey damage proc to one of my skills, since it didnt say unique on it, I was wondering if I could add 6 of it to one of my skills. Is it possible to do that? or will i have to use different procs?

It's one of the few ones I would pick with Traps. I would go, /sonic, /ice, and then /dark if you are looking for min/max. I would do /dual pistols when defenders get them just for the pure sexy factor.

*IMO* stealth is a waste really for a rad/rad defender, Hover is definitely the way to go. Manuevers isnt really worth it anyway since you have the 2 Rad toggle debuffs which provide most of the def for you. Vengeance is also a waste, when someone on your team dies chances are you will want to ressurect them before anything.
that gives you 3 new power slots to choose.
Take Hover, Choking Cloud and as much as everyone will hate for me to say... Whirlwind.... (it has saved me so many times during solo play)
Rad Defenders are extremely endurance heavy , so bring lots of blues!
again this is my opinion only, maybe some others can shed some more light on their experiences -
guys another quick question, so i purchased the game and supposedly activated the account but for some reason it keeps asking me to pay for a subscription even though I am supposed to receive a free 1 month subscription with the order. Am i required to purchase additional game time before I can use the time given to me from the purchase?
nvm it seems i had to activate it by indeed purchasing game time. -
so another words, no matter which one I get I can use the architect missions? For me that is a huge selling point!!! (plus the freebies seem cool, especially the battle aura)

Hey, I want to purchase the game (just finished lvl 14 in free trial) and I was wondering is there any difference to which of the 2 I purchase? (besides the "freebies")
I see on the page to buy them there is COV/COH Good Vs Evil edition as well as the Architect Edition.
If I purchase the AE one, will I still be able to play the full game to level 50 and experience everything there is to offer content wise?? (missions, levels, boss fights, etc)

thanks for the replies guys, so far so good with my blaster. although I am still noob level I managed to CC the frostfire mission and only use 1 health inspiration. definitely wasn't expecting that kind of boss so early on in the game.
I understand I wont be the top dps of any group due to the aoe's being more centricly focused on solo / control play, but I'm glad you guys say i will find a place late game against bosses and using my traps to help aoe parties as well as -res them.
Another question if I may ask you all.....
What are the 2 best transportation powers I should pick? So far I have chosen Super speed and love the Hasten skill. But what should my 2nd set be? (if i even should pick it up)

Hi guys, I am completely new to this game (just started like 2 or 3 days ago)
And let me say first off, where was I all these years when this awesome game was out? Second off onto some Blaster questions for all you experienced players.
I recently started making every type of blaster primary and decided on sticking with Sonic and Devices as my secondary.
I noticed on this forum there are not many posts about sonic blasters, am I missing something about this powerset? does it stink endgame?
Every blaster I see in game so far has been fire or ice blaster and I have actually gotten a few messages saying oh wow you chose Sonic as your primary powerset.
So in essence even tho I am thoroughly enjoying this combo I created, I was wondering if it would be a viable asset to a team later on in the game. I would hate to be a burden on my team and not chosen the second time around because of the playstyle of sonic / device.
So Please help me!!! Tell me the 4-11 on the sonic blaster and if device secondary is good for crowd control / survival.
