I'll weigh in on this. I've actually spent a bit of time PvP'ing recently (I actually do PvP and not farm, lol). However I do know a few members in our coalition (there's 5 fairly active PvP groups in ours) who do the afk thing. From what I've experienced and gathered so far...

1) During 2 different PvP sessions in the last 2 weeks with multiple players in zone - the entire zone experienced a player positioned reset. Basically we were jumping and bouncing all over in usual PvP wildness when suddenly we all freeze and blink on screen. Then we blink again and we are ALL everyone in zone teleported to a random but set location. On one day there were at least 8 of us in the zone and on another day probably 10-12'ish (though not 100% sure on numbers). This happened to all of us at the same time as we all started going "WTF" in broadcast, lol. We all experienced the same thing. Some of us were teleported to the same spots right next to each other, and pretty much everyone at least 1/2 a map away from where we were. It was truly a shocker, lol. It was also funny too because scattered around the zone in these locations with us were like 6 or more other players that we didnt see before at all, lol. Im guessing those were the afk guys.

2) Since summer started Ive been PvP'ing pretty much everyday for a few hours (2-3 on average...i know im a glutton for punishment). I have only experienced this twice in my play times. However it doesnt appear to happen at the same or set times.

3) Of the afk types I know they have been complaining about this a lot in chat. From whats been said this happens at random times (no set timer), is zone wide as I experienced, and from 2 of the guys who moved their toons to other servers to avoid the above mentioned "farm busters" - this is happening to all servers (or at least the ones they are on too). Not at the same time. Some days it doesnt happen. Some days it only happens on some servers. Some days it happens 2 times a day or more on whichever server(s).

4) As mentioned there are no notes in the combat logs about TP Foe or any other form of teleports. And the mass teleport to all at once to what seem set locations seems to support some form of player position reset.

So my guess based on whats been said and I've seen is that its random. Its zone wide when it happens. Its not a power being used but a position reset. Seems to happen on all servers not just one buggy one (aka not a server hardware issue).

My bets are:

Possibly a GM(s) who goes and randomly blanks zones on the different servers. Is it to grief ? I dunno. If it was on purpose it certainly broke up all fights going on at the time. For like 10 minutes we all just stood around broadcasting and asking what happened, lol.

My other bet is its a bug that is causing all players in a zone to lose sync or something. However since the players are not returning to their last position, this doesnt seem as likely.

I think something to watch out for to see if its a bug or a GM initiative is to note if the npc's in a zone are resetting too ? I didnt pay attention to this when it happened to us, but one of the guys brought it up as a possible indicator.

If its only players and not the npc's then I'd wager GM intervention first. If the whole zone blanks and everything resets then its probably a bug (though a GM could do that too im guessing). But if the whole zone resets then a bug is as strong a possibility as GM.

Last comment I'll make is I think its funny how much conjecture and "hate" posts went on against the OP, and apparently by players who dont have the faintest clue as to whats going on. Way to take your "opinions" and use them as a bludgeon to beat on anothers observation in an effort to belittle what he was trying to say. Sans any facts or observations of your own of course... but i guess thats just par for the course on a forums, rofl.

Oh well. I mainly posted this cause I felt bad the OP said something real then it went on 3 pages of other players bashing him.

So yes its real. Just ask the PvP'ers.

I posted before about PvP'ing on monday - we had a bunch of guys in the zone running jumping dueling and ganking it out. Suddenly everyone in the zone does an insta teleport to random areas of the zone. Some of us literally more than half way across the map. This happened to everyone as a universal WTF went up in broadcast. Based on posts I read here in the forums this apparently happened on different servers as well. I only experienced it once when I was in zone but others say its happened a bunch of times.

Heres the funny part - every post I've seen thats mentioned this including a thread where I simply asked "did anyone else experience this ?" has been deleted. Just gone.

I think the GM's are trying to hide something ... seems the GM's have been messing with the zones ...

Anyone seen them or know what they are ? Usually I see something off of test when I'm really curious but dont seem to see anything this time.

Just doing 1:1 as I'm not interested in gouging. However its come to my attention that in 2'ish months all inf will be the same and transferable so there's no big rush on this atm.

Most of my 10 bill is now liquid. One thing i'd be interested in is trading some purples from blue to red if any have those on red atm.

Either way.

For those who still need it - I have about 10 bill blue side I can move for red atm. Hero builds sold off looking to invest in a new vill.

Its not just the last bid bit thats messy. If you have a number of items 'stored' and you go to sell a particular item or stack sometimes the UI shifts to another stack right when you hit "post" to sell. Ive had this happen no less than 3 times now. Even when I was really careful and looking at what I was doing and making sure I was in the right listing.

Its gotten so I'm scared everytime I list something.

My worst whammy is a stack of high priced items I was working to flip. Accidentally sold them on the cheap, though still a reasonable price, they sold for far lower than I wanted. That and the total stack sold for over 2 billion. So now I've got a slot locked up with a sale that I cant claim cause its more than I can hold. Its been 3 weeks now since I submitted the petition and support basically has said "we dont have the tech in place to address this issue, we'll contact you when we do". Ive checked in with them a number of times and they say they are "still waiting".

WTF. And it doesnt seem like they are doing anything about it soon.

If you need one of these holler at me. At this point I think 2.5 to 3 billion off the market is fair. I know some try to get 4-5 billion most of the time, but even my marketing conscious cant bring myself to ask that, lol.

This ones caused me a number of wrong listings and has gotten me stuck with a bug to boot. Basically I was selling and item at the bottom of my list but it actually listed the items way up near the top of my list. This caused me to sell a stack of items cheaper than desired, AND caused the total of the sales to be over 2 billion inf. So I cant even collect the inf at this point since it wont let me as I cant hold over 2 billion. Royal suckage all around.

Petition filed - crossing fingers. I am doubting they'll reverse the sales as desired though.

Im scrambling to get my inf back on toons right now. I had 20 Billion setup there for quick access across toons. I cant believe this wasnt mentioned !!!

OMGosh !!! Well time to find toons for that 20 Billion I have sitting in emails. I'm astounded this wasnt made clear earlier - WTF !!!

Im doing up a dual build red side for pve / pvp and need a bunch of purples to sink into it. I have a ton blue side I'd be willing to trade for red ones. Or I have some PvP IO's both red and blue side I could trade as well. I tend to use 5 of each set minus the single effect ones like damage only, immobize only, hold only, etc.

PM me etc, and we'll work out some trades.

If anyone still needs the blue let me know. I can trade a bill comfortably. PM meh.

Just a question as to how to maximize custom critter XP.

I did up a set of primary powers and above it said "100% of xp at lvl 25" so I figured it should give max xp. Then secondary with no powers selected it says "100% of xp at lvl 25" as well. However the mobs seem to have reduced xp.

So do I need to have secondary powers selected to actually max thier xp ? How many of the secondary powers etc ?

Also I see friendly objectives drain XP now. What objectives can we use now to really pack mobs into a map without losing XP over it ? I used to buff mobs by having a ton of "rescue hostages" but that is very bad now, lol.
