Most of my global friends who would have run this with me, quit when they decided that there was never going to be a solo path to the incarnates. My better half never starts teams, he joins them, and he is usally asleep during my prime playing time...if it took a minimum of two to start this I could fire up his account and leave his toon at the door and go off and enjoy myself...but it takes 4...
Unhappy sigh.
My Blaster, Coffin Singer, would really like those Bats and Crows..

Lisa reads about all the end troubles Regen and Willpower are having and wonders how her Streetfighter Brute will fare with /Elec as the secondary.
Until I get my Endurance giving power which name escapes me ATM, it sounds like I will be in for quite the ride

OMG...just made one of these, a Street Justice/Stone, and left her standing in Mercy whilst I came to the forums to see if I have lost my mind.
I have never done a /Stone Brute or Tank before, so I thought pairing two powersets I have no experience with might be fun.
since there is someone else who not only has had the same idea but has posted a build, I will give it a go.
Onyx_Obelisk, I wish I could give you my thoughts on your numbers, but I am...not the person to talk numbers with...I do know the sets you have and they are good
So, Tally Ho on to to Mercy....I will keep a beady eye on this thread.

The real reason there are two downtimes per week, when the above says maintenance is once a week on Thursday, is because the powers that be in charge of this stuff know that I have two days off a week...Tuesdays and Thursdays

Thanks to the DFB trial, my new brute outleveled her Atlas Park contact before ever taking any missions from her. Now that contact is inactive, and visiting her does not cause her to pass me on to a new contact.
Consequently, my brute is 12th level and only has one contact (Montague Castanella). This makes mission selection extremely limited. What am I supposed to do in order to unlock the usual lineup of Steel Canyon and Skyway City contacts?

First of all thanks for the responses...I have been playing more than reading the forums so I apologize about not responding right away.
My Blaster, Coffin Singer, is now level 21. Solo, she has done all the new starting missions heroside, as well as the one AE mission all my level 2s do without fail.
She did all the Midnighters stuff, and kept Lady Jane alive!
She did all the pre-20 Faultline stuff very easily, and even went into one of the PVP Zones and beat back the enemy to earn the four badges, or is it three..need coffee... that you can get doing the missions that can be had there....received the Spider Smasher badge in the last one
Currently, she is in Striga about to start the last mission for the Ring Of Peebles.
So, yes, I am real happy with this Blaster
I don't do anything real special, just weaken the bad guys damage resistance with my Sonic attacks, then whomp them with my Dark attacks..Smite hits like a heavy slab of cement
I have been concentrating on my primary/secondary so the only pool powers I have right now is Combat Jump where I have my Knockback IO..which I bought with Paragon points
I am not feeling the need for a Travel power yet as I invested in a Rocket Board...wow, I love it. Sure it detoggles all your toggles, but, well, I have only one toggle and I am not fool enough to fly low enough that I can hit by a sniper or ranged enemies, and nor do I land in the middle of bad guys who are bad news for my squishy Blaster who is surprisingly more sturdy than I thought she would be...so for me, the The Rocket Board err rocks

Hello all.
Due to at first mega hours at work, and then a terrabad cold which still has it's claws in my throat, I have not done a whole lot with this new issue.
However, I did make a new Blaster which I am enjoying. She is a level nine Sonic/Dark and I am now afraid that she will become unplayable for a solo player, which would be heartbreaking because I love her appearance, I love her powers appearance, I enjoy the way her early powers mesh together, and she has a name which works for me ala my better half thinks it is a fine name..which doesn't happen often
So talk to me, is this combo feasible for tootling about missions with solo?
If she is going to fall apart at the seams once she hits 25 I would like to know now before I get too attached.

I must confess I was sort of down in the mouth when I saw the Head Start date is the 13th, but then I read this, and I dissolved into gales of laughter
I wrote that post when I was not in the best of moods and I think I wanted to vent my frustration of everything good happening when I am at work and when I am off there seems to be long maintenance periods...and I was also off my feed about Double XP weekend.
I do hope nobody thinks I would really act that way....tempting, but I am a horrible Care Bear and even though I might at times resent being at Duty Duty on my precious days off, and, especially when Head Start is being released, I do realize that serving on a jury is an honor and it is a way to make a difference in someone's life..Whether it be helping prove them innocent, or..well..if they are guilty throwing them into the Hoosegow might be the push they need to change their life.
And, once again I miss the good stuff, the opening kickoff so to speak...I am indeed cursed
But, Jury Duty is indeed a higher calling, so I guess I am semi-cursed

Hello all.
Freedom will go live on one of two dates in September.
Both are on Tuesday.
They are:
Sept 13th
Sept 27th
How do I know this you ask?
Because although Tuesdays are my scheduled days off, I have jury duty on both of these dates
If Freedom is indeed launched on one of my scheduled jury duties, I Plan to go into the courtroom, sit in the first row if possible, looking like I know everything and can't have my opinion swayed by anything the lawers might say...
I will also, without listening to the first bit of what the trial is about, scowl mightily at the defendent to let him/her know I know he/she is guilty and I will vote accordingly.
This will probably get me chosen by the admiring prosecution, and I will go into that jury room with the same zeal to find him/her guilty that I give to wanting a solo path to the incarnates.
Yes, an innocent man/woman might be found guilty, but that is what they get for dragging me away from the first day of Freedom, which I would have been able to participate in since it was my day off.
Am I joking? I would like to say yes, I take my civic duty very seriously,but..the scary thing is..if I miss the opening of Freedom because of jury duty I might indeed act in such a manner

I think only the most fanatical soloers would be expecting to be able to progress at the same rate as the players who run the Trials - most of the people asking for a solo path seem ok with slower progress.

Well, I am not exactly a solo only player. I LOVE huge missions like the Rikti invasions and the Zombie invasions, and the special events because I can get into a team and if I mess up a shot, nobody will jeer at me.
Pancake, this game is supposed to be fun. It is not fun to be jeered at because you run into a wall and thus lose the team.
Sigh....anyone play on Victory who does not jeer at clutzes?

Golden Girl, you are being very cruel to us fumble fingered, uncoordinated, sensitive about it, painfully shy players, who play this game with great gusto anyway.
I play every day, I participate in the forums, I chat in Broadcast, I help new players in Broadcast, If I see a wonderful looking costume I send a Tell telling the player 'Good Job"
I also spend a lot of my hard earned cash in this game, even bought the emote pack.
I is a very good customer, don't be hatin' on me because I have a minor disability..that is just plain cruel.

Us American players are affected by this downtime too....I have Tuesdays and Thursdays off and do my most efficient playing in the early morning....and so maintenance happens in my prime playing time.
Lots of times, especially recently, I feel like you do...instead of packing up my things and leaving though, I head into the kitchen and whomp up some heavenly breakfast.
I know this sounds trite, but have a bit of patience. Freedom will roar in, the bugs will get fixed, and things will settle back down....that is my hope at least...one of my hopes...I would LOVE it if Freedom goes live on a Tuesday

As far as I know level is the magic number for getting from red to blue...unless you saw a Dev in "undercover street clothes"

Hello. Not sure where to put this question, so I will place it here
I was fighting in the streets of Mercy a bit ago with my new Veat..never really made one so I decided to try...when I came across a Boss dressed in a different uniform than all the Rippers I normally see in Mercy. He had the name "Deadly Ripper" above his head. Have Deadly Rippers always been in Mercy and I just never paid attention?
I will say this, he sure lived up to his name and sent my happy **** to the hospital
