Exactly. Was slightly unclear on that, yeah. OPs are mostly by CuppaJo and one by Ex Libris, both of whom are long gone if I recall right.

Between ze work of myself and others, so far all but the Corruptor and Tanker links have been redone into working form in updates. The evident problem, such as there is one, is that the updates are in new posts at the very end of the threads, and many people are evidently looking only at the first posts, as they might well reasonably expect to be able to do, and finding deadlinks.

This wouldn't be an issue if we could edit them in there, but we can't. Attempts on my part to get redname attention have been unsuccessful thus far (one would be needed either to edit the new links into the old first posts or to sticky a new thread), so if anyone knows who the heck is responsible for such things feel free to point them in the right direction... people who can't find guides ATM would appreciate it.

Welp, I already did the gathering part for MMs ,and a few others, and put the code in a public repository to make updating easier in future.*points to sig*

Waiting on PM-response from a redname or two on updating the old OPs and/or whether that's even possible now. Hadn't thought of doing a totally new one but either way will need mod-help, so yeah. o.O

Getting the original links fixed is why I wrote these, in theory all that would need to be done is to paste the code I've done over what's in the OP right now. After that, it would be back to normal updates, which is why I put the code up in public - so anyone could do the updates without the search-find-paste slog that had to be done post-migration here.

Obviously I can't get it into the OP myself and I have no idea which redname is responsible for these now. o.O
