Does anyone know if this guy resits sleep. It only seems to take effect maybe 1 out of 4 and I know it was hitting at least some of those times. Its bad enough getting 1 shotting monsters every mission without them being totally immune to the usual anti AV powers.

With a fast charging attack like psi dart its possible to TK someone and build up domination before running out of end. Not sure if you can pull this off with /fire, maybe if you put recharges in a fast charging quick animating attack. I find /fire pretty light on endurance anyway but you also have the option of picking up consume for extra endurance recovery. Mind/Fire looks like a nice combo, btw.

Snaptooth however doesn't have triangles, although I'm positive that the only things that the PToD doesn't protect against are Sleep and Immob, I remember reading somewhere that Fear also gets through the triangles, but my money is on that PToD protect against that too.

I sometimes spam confuse from a distance to get a better idea of when the triangles are down. Its a lot easier to see the pink head bubbles then some microscoptic triangles. -
Dont know if spore burst draws aggro or not. If not it might be handy for setting up seeds so you dont get wasted while trying to confuse them.

Some assault powers can hit through things like MoG (psi dart I think). You can also use auto hit powers like TK.

Hehe, exactly like in the Prima Guide where there was this sample Dom guide; a "fear master" who had taken the power pool fears along with Terrify from his primary. That reminds me of the odd Brute build...

It probably wouldnt be enough, I have one toggle and just get by with drain psyche. There is a power in the patrons which is similar to DP, running that with DP might help. -
I usually build in 3 ways.
1. Specialising at just one thing. eg. storm/dark defender built for debuffing accuracy. Kin/elec built for sapping endurance is another, both sets have powers with the same effect.
2. Specialising at killing certain builds (eg. stalker hunters or regen killers).
3. Picking the sets that look the coolest or fit a theme.
I cant say either of these are effective ways to build, but it might help you decide what to play next. -

Not sure about either primary as I havent played those much in pvp. I guess fire might do a little more damage. I did hear about one guy who used drain psyche and a similar power from the patrons to make a type of sapper. -

Nope. it doesnt require a target so it fires right away. Best bet is to wait till a player is pinned down if you want to debuff them. Or, mass hold/sleep a group of the many longbow hanging around, wade in, use DP, get out before they wake up. -

For these facts, i think you cant defineively pvp without stamina. DP could still be great, but just as a support buff or a good debuff agaisnt regens.

I've never had stamina on my mind/psi and have no end problems unless I run into a player built as a sapper. -
I find it works better in pvp thanks to the faster domination bar. When your end is low theres a good chance either DP or domination will be up.
Does it hit with 1 acc and tactics? I would have expected it to miss. -

This I can agree with. I've played ice/thorns before my ice/energy and the difference is night and day. Being able to Block of Ice - Total Focus - Block of Ice (or Block of Ice - Bonesmasher - Block of Ice earlier on) to control solo spawns in a few seconds is invaluable.

It's funny, I find /energy one of the weaker assault sets and would take /ice over it any day if I wanted Power Boost. Maybe /energy is better solo but I find the blasts and AoE really weak, snipe useless and the entire set just slow in general.

I agree, I dont really like energy. A lot of the lowbie doms recently seem drawn to it as well. -
