Citadel vs sleep
Well, he IS a robot... Also, he has a status protection toggle.

If you mean those pesky triangles, sleep normally goes through that. As for being a robot, I dont think that would justify designing this AV in such a way that your only reliable control option is immobalise.
EDIT: nm. I missed the entropy shield on that link. Interesting that this protects against sleep AND immobalise. What are you meant to do now? Drop a shivan from a hidden position and pray he doesnt die?

He means a status protection toggle like Unyielding or Integration... in this case it's "Entropy Shield".
Which seems to be waaaay overpowered for a status protection toggle... all that AND +def??!?

Yeah i missed that earlier and changed my post. Citadel looks like a huge balls up IMO. Although sleep DOES stick SOMETIMES, shame its such so difficult to test against an AV, or in this case EB.

Ouch, Entropy Shield protects against Knockback as well...
In that case, I would recommend a lot of slows (if you have them) and keep hitting him with your best toggle-dropping power (every Dominator secondary has one attack that has about 60% chance of dropping toggles) until Entropy goes, then mezz him as fast as you can. Pets or purple insps will help a lot while you try and tough it out with him until his Entropy Shield falls.
EDIT: Scratch that, since the toggle drop effect only works in PVP. That's messed up, man

Its also a lot of work just to land a soft control like sleep or immobalise.

I never said to use sleep, I just said mezz.
Only if you can't hold him immediately at the point that shield breaks, should you pre-occupy him using sleep/KB.
But this is all moot anyway.
Hmm, how resistant are AVs to Confuse, usually?

AFIAK its a no no until the triangles go down. I actually use my confuse to get an idea of when the triangles ARE down, as its easier to see the purple confuse bubbles than some microscopic triangles.

His AI makes him toggle it on and off, so you can get him reliably. Once he's slept, if you keep him sleeping he'll most likely not put it back on (because if he tries to put it on, your next sleep will sleep him before the mez-protection effect kicks in).

Thats prolly why it was working sometimes.

Does anyone know if this guy resits sleep. It only seems to take effect maybe 1 out of 4 and I know it was hitting at least some of those times. Its bad enough getting 1 shotting monsters every mission without them being totally immune to the usual anti AV powers.
