I'm not sure that would help (you ninja editor you ). I mean if villains are still pants then the only reason to play say.. a corruptor over a defender/blaster would be cos you enjoy the corruptor playstyle, despite it being less powerful than the closest hero AT's. I guess what I mean is, if all AT's were open to heroes/villains then the pvp zones would mostly be hero vs hero.

Thats one thing that always cracks me up. When people claim "I'm just here for fun!" while they roll in with an uber build or duo. BTW. not accusing anyone here of doing that since I wasnt even in warburg last night.

Ashamed to say it but i've given emps grief before as well. I dont feel so bad now that thaw is more in line with CM but imo it just means controllers get a bit of the shaft as well as doms. I'm not sure if stalkers have much to complain about since they can pick up grant invis and stealth IO's anyway. Now when I see an emp I go and do something else, although I havent really pvp'd that much for yonks anyway.

If fire blast is the one i'm thinking of I'd get it recharging fast and use it to build domination. If you dont fancy that, either combustion or consume are nice.

I would find playing the exact same sets swapped over a bit boring. What you could try is a fire/dark though, those are meant to be nice. What helped me get into villains was paying attention to the story arcs.

Superspeed. Simply because in a mission you can kill off one guy, zip away from his buddies and then run THROUGH the next few groups of enemy's and onto a safe spot.

A confused player in PvP has their targeting reticule randomly redirected every time they attack, I believe.

Some powers may grant protection from Confusion, but by default a player can be Confused with a single application of a Confuse power.

Confuse is easily countered by zooming in so you are the only thing on screen.

Which isnt really an ideal way to play. I say confuse is still a useful power.

Dont know about rad but from playing a mind dom all the way to 50 I can say that pretty much all the powers are great. About the only dodgy ones are the sleeps but even those can be useful, like when your opponent slips into a bunch of NPC's to escape you. Fear and mass confusion are particularly fun and you can be an asset to your team (and an [censored] to your enemy) just spamming these powers. I wouldnt so much be afraid of any thermal corruptors you come up against, but with the changes to thaw you might find your controls and slows next to useless against other villains. That would pretty much leave you with tk and levitate in those situations (plus your rad powers that I dont know about).

I take fly and tp on ALL my stalkers. It gives you some different options while taking some others away. eg. tp'ing next to a stationary target makes it hard for them to see you coming. However, Tping ontop of a moving target takes a little luck.

An AT for easy pvp mode, although you could say that about most of the hero AT's. Could have been a better trip if the sides were more balanced but it was either 3 villains vs 1 troller or 3 villians vs 1 troller plus a blaster/emp duo (in between there missions). Thems the breaks I suppose.

I tried the same thing a while back and its loads of fun
As for building fury slower, just pump the rep up if its too easy.

No probs. I think we were down to about 3 at the last count anyway. I'l wait till you want to play your stalker again before I suggest ways to have more fun. Dont want to encourage your altitis :P

I heard it had a 1000 mag hold from a thug/poison guide on the US forums.

I would try and get poison trap in there, and maybe bean bag as well. Is that enough acc slotted?

I was in there a few days back with some defiant regulars who had leveled pvp toons on union during double xp. Pretty much all were pleasant, apart from one guy who wanted to wind people up.

How did you find defiant and union builds compare? Anytime I try and play on defiant it seems a bit more geared towards FOTM builds. Something that isnt really fun imo unless you maybe like leveling those sorts of toons anyway.
