I dunno was just so weird.I had someone spamming me grief cause he managed to kill me and bragging on tells because i had an empath on team. Plus cause i was testing my fire/nrg some powers for pve i was kinda clumsy but i was there to have fun.Just this thing kinda spoiled the whole good vibes i had from PvP on Onion.In general me likes people have fun chat builds,enjoy ,some others though..they see an empath and is like Hell Gates have opened
Not sure if you were sent tells or something because when I was there couldn't see much moaning. I had a good time in there and for once there was only 1 emp so I see that as a result .

Yeah i was getting tells from a blaster tbh which was hilarious plus alot people were moaning on broadcast about having an empath being noobish/cheating/nub. (wth!!)

Ashamed to say it but i've given emps grief before as well. I dont feel so bad now that thaw is more in line with CM but imo it just means controllers get a bit of the shaft as well as doms. I'm not sure if stalkers have much to complain about since they can pick up grant invis and stealth IO's anyway. Now when I see an emp I go and do something else, although I havent really pvp'd that much for yonks anyway.

Sorry to hear that, normally union folk a lot better than that. You have to let me know in game which blaster it was.
Hehe nah i came, got mashed in quickly without any resemblance of a support team and then logged onto stalker. I was the one running away as fast as I could surviving by the skin of my teeth (majority of time).

Well this is in conjunction with my experiences from union zone pvp 
It may not be that bad overall but there seems to be more juveniles there than on defiant. Too bad I dont have serious pvp characters on union at all, just my domi who pretty much sucks in pvp.
ps. the empath issue is silly..I have no problem with empaths when playing my stalker, I always assume my opponents are at +percep cap anyway until proven otherwise.
Dont get me wrong i had awsome fun and i am not dissing Union PvP.Lots people way more action and all good fun,nice chats etc.I have totally positive experience with people i met in Forums first.Like Max and his villains squad owning all,having fun with globey,far-seer,sweet chilli,jj and other people that enjoy pvp.Maybe was an isolated incident will see you all again tonight in WB 
Well I try to avoid generalizing and I know from pvp nights there are lots of nice people on union. But Ive been to union SC maybe 3 times this year and every time there has been someone like above. Not having a good pvp toon for beating them also gets to me >_<
In addition Im getting bit disillusioned about COX PVP in general atm. I hope venting my frustration on the grinders in defiant RV helps a bit in near future, with my stalker project.
I pretty much only ever play Defenders in zone PvP (hero side, I wanted something super-powerful so I built a Dominator for villain side ) on Union, and I have established, I think, what is generally expected in order to avoid getting moaned at. You just need to follow these three simple steps:
1. Don't buff people, it's lame.
2. Stand still, being stunned while standing still would help, it'll avoid the possibility of you accidentally falling face first onto a heal button or something.
3. Die. Lots.
Do more than that and you'll tend to get whinged at a fair bit. Defenders are there to provide easy kills - everyone knows that!
Probably not an isolated incident but I take things like that with a pinch of salt. There are some people that just don't get it and as such just ignore them. If you get abuse I find repeatedly killing them cheers me up (don't they realise aggrovating people just means they get singled out). They eventually go away or bring a new character/team to the action. Either way its win win .
Don't think will have much time today until late evening but have fun. Its been busy in warburg for a long time now and have had loads of fun in there (too much as neglected leveling up other toons).

People like yourself know what you are doing so cause mega frustration. Some people are too accustomed to easy mode and just like to vent to make themselves feel better. Sometimes there is nothing you can do about it which makes things worse. I think the problem is really just down to frustration. Having a team where you cant kill anyone and where you are a dead man walking really is annoying. Not excusing people's behaviour as they are in the wrong.
To be honest I do get a bit of enjoyment out of it as you really do have to work for your kills (if you have the characters/team for it).

I got moaned at for playing my empath in warburg yesturday, which suprised me as i was playing a sonic controller, yet they refused to take this as an excuse for playing an empath and continued to spam me.
I still had fun though.
MODS LOCK THIS THREAD EMPATHS ARE OVERPOWERED
any emp can now be invisible, villains have one +perception buff on a very unpopular set (unpopular as in barely any play it) Villains have nothing that can match empathy.
Running all heroes together in WB(which happens most of the time) with multiple buffs makes for a very dull time on both sides. Villains cant match heroes, ever, they are flawed in design and conception and weaker in every way. Dominators and controllers for example, both a control primary yet controllers have higher modifiers for better holds AND can hold more with AOEs.
Look at it this way, a blaster and a emp duo can come in and cause problems for even big teams as they synergise so well, no pairing of any villains can match and would get stuffed, it takes a full co-ordinated corr team to cause heroes headaches and then out come the rad/psis....
Villains are NOT designed to team, they dont compliment each other, heroes do as they were designed that way from the start.
You can play what you like and take whatever you like to the zones, i dont really see the fun in totally overwhelming opposition personally though, its boring and neither side can be getting much from it.
The only way to resolve the MASSIVE imbalances in COx PvP is to make a true FFA zone where you can team with ANY side or activate the changing side TF all can access all.
As it stands I see no reason to berate anyone who plays the far weaker side from venting in frustration.

Thats one thing that always cracks me up. When people claim "I'm just here for fun!" while they roll in with an uber build or duo. BTW. not accusing anyone here of doing that since I wasnt even in warburg last night.
ps. Wasnt sure what you meant by the perception buff cos sonic doesnt get it till after lvl 30 :O(

I'm not sure that would help (you ninja editor you ). I mean if villains are still pants then the only reason to play say.. a corruptor over a defender/blaster would be cos you enjoy the corruptor playstyle, despite it being less powerful than the closest hero AT's. I guess what I mean is, if all AT's were open to heroes/villains then the pvp zones would mostly be hero vs hero.
