I've got quite a few.
The stop 30 Fir Bolg from escaping in Croatoa is always fun when solo.
Likewise with the stop the ceremony one.
I really like the Marshall Brass Arc
The new Doc Quantum Tip Mission
The new future self villain alignment mission.
Blowing up the subs is still fun! -
You can run any arc, with any alignment, for your time in Praetoria.
When the final mission is ran you can pick Hero or Villain either way.
That said, if your wanting to go the Hero route I'd suggest the Warden and Responsibility Arc's as they tend to be more 'Heroic' than the others.
I'd avoid the Powers arc unless you like feeling evil. -
Yes please, I want my Bots/Storm back.
Though I'm also afraid it'll wreck my new Ninja/Thermal... -

My favorite is <em Alakazamreact>
Nothing like magically turning my horde of zombies into random objects in a flash! -
*Rushes over to Duct Tape Utopia in desperate need of Gold Duct Tape*
"What timing! I was just lamenting this morning about my lack of shiny tape, got any in silver?" -
*Sips the wonderful brew*
"Don't forget your Mall employee discount!"
We're also having a grand opening sale, buy 2 CD's and get a 3rd for free. limited time only.
*Cranks up Radar Love muzac version*
"We're also fully stocked with background tunes for all the new stores." -
Just so you guys know. Thanks to the 'Pets die when dismissed' bug, we can once again use Soul Extraction at any time. Just dismiss your Lich and then resummon him. The corpse will then allow you to summon your ghost.
It's the only positive aspect of the bug that has killed my Bots/Storm and Thugs/Traps. -
I have a robot that is a Natural origin.
It happened by mistake, I picked the origin and then designed the toon.
Kinetic Flux.
I was level 5 before I noticed that I was running around with a robot touting a Natural origin. So I gave him one.
He comes from a planet of sentient machines. On his world we would be looked at as 'Artificial' He came to this planet searching for one of his kind that was working with the Clockwork King, in an attempt to wipe out humans and populate the world with machines, just like his home planet.
It's his mission to stop this from happening. I even added that he has a holographic projector in his arsenal, so he can blend in with humans better, this gave me ample leeway when making costumes.
I look at it this way, a true Alien could really have any origin. As it's entirely possible they got their powers from a lab accident on their homeworld, or from a mutation, or from training. etc etc. -
Business as usual.
It's getting about that time when everyone who wants one has one.
Until the price drops, then those that want one but couldn't afford it will pull the trigger.
Then they will announce the next generation system.
Of course, with DLC being so prevalant now, it might end the whole
'limited life cycle of game consoles' every 6-8 years. Opting for upgrades to the existing hardware instead.
That said, I'd expect sales to drop off once the market is saturated. -
Back in the day we all used to laugh about how the richest profession in Paragon had to be the dry cleaners. I mean, we're all face down in the sewer, with zombies puking up on us...
Then we realized our clothes never got dirty. Not a single mark on them actually. So we decided that Serge must have a superpower of somesort. The ability to create fabric that can withstand extreme punishment and still look brand new every. single. day.
It's the only explanation.
Super Fabric, I'm telling ya, it don't get shredded. -
I always thought they were just a placebo that vanished into the ether.
Something to make us feel better after the crash.
I've never bothered with them, usually in the rush to log back in. -
I wondered this myself recently. I used to love seeing the line of Heroes all showing off under Atlas. I only won once but I'd participate often.
I never really had the funds to throw one myself though. Until now.
So I decided to have an impromptu CC under Atlas on Infinity the other night, think it was around 9pm central...
After 10 minutes of broadcasting the 1 million 1st place, 500 thousand 2nd, 250,000 for 3rd I realized only 5 people appeared to care. Nobody else was interested and before I even got started 2 of the others flew off.
I ended up just giving the prize money to the only 2 guys standing there!
I guess with Influence so easy to come by these days, nobody wants to stand around for 10 minutes or longer for the 'chance' to win a million. Since they're probably sitting on much more than that.
So, I blame the markets. -
Sounds really interesting, I tried many variations on Google but couldn't find anything.
Now I'm curious too. -
Well, I meant needed more in the vein of those claiming this is a nerf without them. Just because you can't fully slot the extra 4 powers doesn't mean it's a nerf.
-
Which is probably why we won't see more, if you could always rely on having 10 purples to pop in every mission then it would kind of unbalance everything.
Back in the day I used to always ensure my blaster had at the very least 4 breakfrees on him at all times. Allowing my tray to fill with other stuff.
Once we got the ability to combine, I was no longer forced to allocate those spots to breakfrees and for the 1st time I started actually using purples and oranges. I couldn't believe how much of an impact they make!!
Which is why I doubt we'll see more, unless one of the Incarnate attributes is another row... -
*Workers slowly lift new store sign into position as owner looks on*
"Thats perfect guys!" He shouts at the crew.
"Looks great"
Maestro's Massive Music Store is now open for business!
"Now where is that wonderful smell of coffee coming from?" -
Short answer: No.
Long answer: Look up the dozen or so threads concerning this issue to see why it's not needed. -
I found that one do to my in-ability to single click apparently. Whenever I'd click on enhancements to see what I had, it'd always get doubled and pull up the screen.
What took me years to figure out?
That hitting Backspace after getting a /Tell would set it to reply for you!
That I could bind actions to the extra buttons on my mouse, freeing up the travel power spot in my trays and making respites but a back-click away!!
I just recently learned that you can adjust the lighting in the costume creator to Day or Night.
I just recently discovered the tentacles in the water in Faultline.
What gets me is how many players are unaware of the Dev's Lounge in Faultline. It's well hidden indeed, but's it's always the 1st place I fly to when running the Protean arc! Don't know why I just love that secret little room. -
I wouldn't mind seeing this myself. One of the coolest things when I 1st started playing was when I noticed an NPC walking by that 'recognized' me and had heard of my capture of a Freakshow boss. Was such a small thing but really helped to make me feel like I was part of the world.
I think a great place for this would be the Tip missions, the little box you get at completion detailing what you'd achieved. It could have a corner with your picture and a small news blurb about the event.
I like this idea, it's a small QoL feature but would have a wonderful feeling of accomplishment. -
My top 2 choices for soloing would be:
Fire/Ice - This combo has the best of both worlds. Amazing AOE potential right out the gate and the mitigation from Ice to not faceplant as much.
Ice Patch and Shiver are what make this set shine, once you get Shiver you can melt entire groups of guys with BU+Aim Fireball+ Firebreath(Which as of next issue no longer has to be a 'Breath'!)
OR
Energy/Energy - More single target focsed, learning how to leverage knockback can be huge to your survival. Nothing beats being able to wave your hand at a guy punching you and have him go soaring across the room, smack against the wall and collapse in a tangled mess on a couch.
The ragdoll physics make KB all the more useful for mitigation.
Not to mention you get Build Up at level 4! -
I rolled up a Ninja/Thermal shortly after getting sick of the new bots melee mindset.
I've so far been really impressed. He blazed through Praetoria like it was nothing and just recently took down Protean all solo.
The shields really help with survivability, even with minimal slotting and DO's. It's amazing how they can stand in a group with little healing on my part until the shields drop, then their health appears to be on a constant drain.
Still enjoying it though! Just playing with various popmenu options for him atm. -
That's true.
I can't check, since I got the complete collection but...
Do you have access to the new Clockwork and Resistance sets if you don't have GR? -
Yeah, OP's getting off light from my experience.
Whats the term? Forums require a thick skin.
You haven't been lynched in the least, you haven't even been attacked.
You've been attacking everyone that doesn't agree with you left and right though.
You wanna get flamed real good to see the difference, try making a suggestion in the player question sub-forum about... well about anything.
You'll see. This has been a 'walk in the park' thread compared to some I've seen lately.
