Kinda meh on this specific idea myself, but that's because I thought the actual Void Hunters only had like three powers, the gun, the Nictus Punch, and their toggle armor.
Meanwhile, as far as general nits, I'll mention the same thing here as I did in the hero MM thread: The devs have stated they want to keep the number of available ATs balanced. What would be an accewptable match for Heroes?
Oh, also consider that the Devs specifically stripped out the extra damage from the temp power version of the Void Rifle that Villains have access to. Do you think that Player Voids should have access to the full power rifle, and if so why? -
First, I fully acknoledge that your arc may well not have any of the issues that I am about to describe. That said, according to threads in the Training Room that particular map has problems with geometry that can cause collectable objects to spawn outside of the map. This has lead to certain arcs being uncompletable. It is likely that steps are being taken to correct these issues to make this map, which is one of several that have had similar issues, and make the map available again.

I'd be interested, except for my work schedule. When you folks get a day and time hammered out, let me know.

Check Amazon. That's where I got mine. I think it was $20. at the time. Mines the 17 inch handpuppet. I also have a little 6 inch plushie.
[/ QUOTE ]There's also a fanny pack. -
It's not just the MA server, as I'm getting the same results on regular missions.
-
Now I wonder if anyone would really complain if Recluse took over. Especially if it mean superpowers for at least some of us.

Funny. I've run task forces and strike forces on Guardian.
Maybe it's not the server.

<--Regularly runs TFs/SFs on Protector. Gathering the team takes about half an hour tops, if it's unscheduled. -
I have a question for you Dionon. The devs seem to want to keep the number of ATs available to each side balanced. What new AT do you propose Villains get to keep this balance if they do port Masterminds over?
-
Hm. That definitely doesn't sound like WAI. Did you try running the arc to see what happened when you got to the mission without a map?
-
I thought that's what the 'Invalid' state was. I was under the impression that arcs marked Invalid couldn't be accessed until they were changed under the new rules. Is this not the case?
-
Besides, there is a buff to CCDB already on test, that will allow the critter AI to chain together the combos better, which means you'll have the debuffs coming at you.

I'm curious how making PvP a series of stalemates, because niether side will be defeatable, is supposed to make that part of the game more fun.
[/ QUOTE ]
My point was that what made PvP more fun for me was when the jerks left. My friend and I didn't catch any grief like we used to experience and before either of us knew it we both had earned the SG badge that unlocks the PvP powersource for our respective SG's. If the devs continue to work on PvP I only hope it doesn't draw the jerks back. It was those jerks that discouraged a lot of PvE players and gave the good PvP players a bad reputation. If the jerks return in large enough numbers I'll stop going to PvP zones again.
[/ QUOTE ]Sorry, my post was directed at the OP, and his 'buff everyone' suggestion, now you. -

Being a part of a hero group taking on 8 Kronos Titans at once was epic!
Happy 5th!

I think there is a middle ground that is...
When someone uses super jump near a non-vertical (sheer) wall, you can continue to rise well above your jump height...in fact, it is possible to reach the ceiling by "sliding" up leaning buildings.
so...
why not allow this mechanic for super speeders? if they are near a surface that is even slightly angled, it allows them to slide up it...it makes sense thematically and it IS possible to do with the current game engine.
[/ QUOTE ]The problem with this is, there is no difference, as far as the game goes, between 'super speed' and regular speed. It's the same as the suggestion to have folks run over the surface of the water, it's an all or nothing proposition. It's also related to the lack of an ability to walk. -
Tonight was a busy show.
First off let's explain how my reviews work:
For me to give an arc a good review, it needs one of three things; either a compelling story, a good sense of humor, or a real challenge. It can have more, but it needs at least one of those three elements. Also, it's rough trying for more than one of those, because it's too easy for one aspect to over shadow the rest.
I'm going to be lenient in my reviews, largely because I don't feel comortable criticizing an author for limitations of the medium. If Arcs could be categorized by category, it would be easier to tell if the difficulty of an arc (for example) is intended.
Next, DJ PKs Arc:
This one is a silly arc. He did a very good job recreating the look and feel of the 'source' material. There were saeveral humerous jabs at the game in question, and he did a good job with adjusting the dritters to a humanoid build. Also, for those that have trouble with the tougher critters in the game, there's a little easter egg to help out.
Sooner's Arc:
This one is a Story arc. Again, a lot of work was put into the custom critters. Their look and powers really fit the feel of a malevolent 'Prism'. The best part for me was teh contact herself. Since it all starts out as a favor to a third grade Science teacher, Sooner puts forth the effort to show just how out of water the teacher is when she finds herself a Hero's contact.
Next week:
Another KJSR Dj has made a special request for a story arc:
Number 112345, "The Batavian War". It's a story arc by DJ Crypto, or @Globetrotter. Tune in to find out how it goes! -

If it's that old don't bother. I was hoping it was a more recent post I had missed.

Would this work? Ex Libris says that the animation department set that rule up. Something about performance.

Review of Trickshooter's "A few Clowns short of a Circus"
This is an arc for the story readers. The challenge is low, but there is a lot of effort put into both the standard NPCs and Trick's custom group. Story progression is smoth and even, and there is a lot of effort put into the text. Suggest running with a team of fellow ne'er do wells (I'm sure I misspelled that). -
Thanks to everyone that posted so far. I should have plenty for at least a couple weeks. I'm not going to hit up these arcs in order, and there are a few that haven't been mentioned that I want to try out.
I shoulod point out that you ARE going to have to listen to my show to see how your arc fares. Also, I'll be looking for a lot of the shorter arcs, to put together a 'lightning round' in the near future. -

Sadly, when I read this:

the first thing I thought of was this.
But yeah, all for expanding this out. Although, technically the Lightning one could be used for the techies, too. -
Yeah, suggesting your own arcs is perfectly valid. One thing though, could y'all mention approximately how long they take so I know if I can fit more than one into a two hour show or not? I'd hate to leave a review unfinished.

Does this mean no one's interested in this idea?
