Slow Field defense item simulates water if you put it above a blue-colored rough-looking floor. It has a shimmery effect.

I've seen the "water" effect before, but that whole Apartment complex thing... now that is nice.

I also like the windows. How are those made? o_O

[/ QUOTE ]One of the SG-symbol glass stands...I think with the Diamond symbol...doesn't actually show the SG symbol, so it's simply a blank glass plate on a stand. Embed the stand in the desk-wall and voila, instant window!

actually the diamond has been fix'd.. in a bad way.

remember the guy that won the best base builder award? I think it was like 100m inf-

the guy from q patrol? Astrolynx? he spent months decorating that base; before i13 pathing-

that was a masterpiece until the diamonds were "fix't". now these diamonds all over that base and it completely ruins the space station theme.

that probably doesnt mean anything to anyone, however, It means more than mere words can express to the owners and friends of Q patrol.

Astro left the game because of that.

there needs to be something blank or maybe even a "glass object" that can be used in its place.

Aww, they fixed the diamond? That sucks monkey! My SG on Virtue uses those extensively...wonder what kinda renovations were getting (if any).

To be fair, if you create something cool by using a bug, you should do so only with the expectation that at some point, whatever it is you created might be hosed up when the bug is fixed. I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, especially when whatever it is you're creating isn't some kind of game-affecting exploit, but you should definitely weigh, "If this changes and my creation suffers for it, is it worth the time I'm putting into it now?"

I mean, what about those people who do want the panes of glass with the diamond on them? Should they be forever denied access to something like that just because the devs don't want to mess up a very small contingent of people's bases who used the bug to their advantage?

I don't disagree with you that they should have a plain glass object, but I do disagree if you're saying they shouldn't have fixed a known issue.

We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.

Wow, Great Scoop! I really enjoyed the Artwork, and love Crime of Fashions makover for Arbiter Fabulous! The BASE is SWEET, the comics funny, stories entertaining and POSI's Message....very good to hear from. Keep up the Great work people and Thank-You!

I thought your tone was fine. . . as for a Dev communicating with us, I am trying to be the voice of the masses in the Base Community right now and see if we will be able to get an empty symbol for those of us who would like plain glass, floor plates, ect. I have no Idea if I will ever have any information to bring back BUT I am going to try my best to get "us" an answer.

As for everyone who loved the base this week, I am glad to see my articles don't go un-noticed that truely is an amazing base, and I was very happy to be the one to bring it to everyones attention.

TonyV, thank you for the constructive words to the general public and I hope you found this issue to be informative and interesting this week
