Why are you non devs/mods/rednames/celebs making goodbye threads now?
I mean sure the moment is sincere, you get your goodbyes going, you get some of your friends posting in there but then you get this awkward feeling. Know what it is? Time. You realize you made a thread right after the announcement of a game shutting down and still have until November 30th until this whole thing is gone.
What does that mean?
Empty space, and forgotten threads. No one will remember, not in bulk anyhow, your post from September when November comes. Not unless they are die hard fans of your work. So again, why now?
Express your sentiments and adios when its proper, like maybe the second week in the month of; or even a week ahead. You won't have that weird look five days down the road when someone is gazing at your post going, '' Well.. I said my goodbyes, I added the person to whatever.. so.. what do I talk about now? '' Or the thread just keeps getting pushed further and further back even tho you check it daily. That's right, I know you do.

No, there isn't, CoH is unique in every way, even being outdated, deprecated combat system, blurry textures that looks horrible in 1080p and a lot of 7-8 years old content in need of an serious overhaul.
Tried Champions Online, didn't like it, it failed to make me feel a super hero, I don't like the overall character building and it's "Free to Play" model kinda sucks and makes you feel left out. Maybe the game IS better if I sub but I'm afraid this one might disappoint me especially in the long run.
I did like DCUO but it's a game I'm probably going to play like a console title for a couple of months and forget about it after a while. Don't get me wrong, feels like a great game but still feels more like a console title than a true MMORPG.
NCSoft has to blame itself if CoH was not performing as great as it was supposed to, lack of marketing, investments or even a sequel. It had potential... And still has. I am so sad to see it go. They're venturing in a over-saturated Asian market without any differential in their hands, no secret weapons, no reserves...
Most of these Asian games feels like the same to me, I have a couple of 60s in Aion but really, it has never been so fun, just kept me busy.
I guess I'll have to play CoH while it lasts and a bit of Tera which has been holding my interest.
Not sure where to go... Maybe Marvel Heroes will be fun but I'm kinda hopeless at the moment.

Lmsao aside, I don't see why everyone's all pissed about the situation I mean I half heatedly went into the support ticket without any real intentions to make something happen, I just wanted to see what the generic response was and amazingly I got it. Would I like a refund? Yeah. Is it likely? No. Is your job secure with NCSoft? I can answer that with a statement: Wat PVP? See what I did there? No? Neither do I. Really.
Don't trip guiz as there is going to be no refunds in the foreseeable future and that's half the reason I posted it up on the forums, to prove a point. So... yeah. WoW is where I'll be at.

It appears that this claim was false and was not an actual response from the NCsoft customer service team.
Normally we have a policy against "naming and shaming" however in this case with as many views and posts as the thread has, I feel that it is in the best interests of transparency that we are very open about this. Please understand that false claims and impersonation of NCsoft or Paragon staff cannot be permitted on these fora.
