Would someone be kind enough to post or point me to a summary of the plot from the Magi iTrial?

Plot:
Dream Doctor is called to create yet another Alice-In-Zapperland farscape.
Heroes/Villains/Praetorians go.
Pew Pews are exchanged.
Arch-Praetorians come in three's to halt the Leagues progression. Say snappy things whilst being defeated.
Crazy woman appears with ink quills trying to stab and soak up Incarnate powers. She fails.
Cole comes out, becomes larger than life, is eventually put down and all his plans for future domination come to an end with him screaming, '' NOOOOOO..'' and such.
Grab up your salvage, craft something from threads awarded.
The End.

Don't forget the part where Cole nukes Nova Praetoria in both an effort to kill the Incarnates, and because he's pretty much taking his ball and going home.

The Belladona Vetrano arc and then the personal story of Cole tells you everything that happens up to the exact moment that that trial begins.

Do you want the spoilers related to that too? EG, where Pendragon and Shadow Hunter came from. Since I remember returning and immediately playing a Magi trial and wondering where those two came from and who Dream Doctor was.

In a bit more detail.

The trial begins in Dreamspace, where the Dream Doctor has set up a staging ground for the Incarnates to invade Nova Praetoria. After opening the portal, you're transported to street level where the Carnival of Light are retreating after taking care of the Talons of Vengeance and battling the IDF. They all teleport out and you're left to clean up the remaining IDF forces.

When you finish the last IDF, Chimera, Shadowhunter (recently revived) and Nega-Pendragon (see:Night Ward/Belladona's arc) face down the incarnates and are taken down. Then Black Swan shows up using the Praetorian version of the Dagger of Jocas, called the Quills of Jocas, which are capable of severing an incarnate's connection to the Well of the Furies.

In one last desperate act, Cole tries to summon up the power of Tartarus to nuke Nova Praetoria to try and wipe out the incarnates. They survive and use the Quills of Jocas to sever his connection to the Well. After taking enough of a beating he depowers, completely robbed of his Incarnate strength, and gets royally whooped. Fin.

No, no you've got it all wrong, here's the actual summary:

The trial begins in Dreamspace, where the Dream Doctor has set up a staging ground for the Incarnates to invade Nova Praetoria. After opening the portal, you're transported to street level where the Carnival of Light are retreating after taking care of the Talons of Vengeance and battling the IDF. They all teleport out and you're left to clean up the remaining IDF forces.

When you finish the last IDF, Chimera, Shadowhunter and Nega-Pendragon turn up to find that all of the Incarnates have returned to Primal Earth since it's more effective to farm the IDF for iXP than complete the trial .

Thanks, everyone. I appreciate the info.

I saw something in the i24 notes about Marauder turning good, and I don't recall that from any previous iTrials. Did I miss something elsewhere, or did it happen here also?

No thanks re: Vetrano arc, S_S. I can solo that and read at my leisure. Main reason I wanted this is cuz I'm bored with iTrials and never have time to read them when on a team anyway. So, if I go by what happens in that arc...does that mean the heroes are finally able to defeat Cole because he gets mapservered every time he tries to use his AoE powers? :-)

LOL Adeon -- guilty as charged!!

We don't know what's up with Marauder. That's all completely new I24 stuff.

What you have to remember is, despite being good, misguided, or evil, the Praetorians are one thing above all else: Survivors. They KNOW the Storm is coming, and had hoped to stop it. But they couldn't even stop US. But not content to sit in jail cells and twiddle their thumbs while we do all the work, some seem to have offered their services.

Also, Defeat = Friendship. Not that many Heroic characters would want to "befriend" Marauder, who is implicated to have killed children, but mweh.

-STEELE =)

Allied to all sides so that no matter what, I'll come out on top!
Oh, and Crimson demands you play this arc-> Twisted Knives (MA Arc #397769)

It looks like you see Marauder still in Praetoria at the start of the i24 incarnate arc. So the arc probably explains everything regarding the praetorians going primal.

What won't make sense for some is the Praetorians being tied to some of the new content in Bricks that you can play before level50.
