Mmm, awesome additions. They're both great. Flame's facial expression is neat, and PG has a very nice pose. Grats =D

Okay, back. Anyone else? No?
Also, is there anyways I can change a thread title? I tried editing, but it only changes my post title, not that of the thread. -
And the winner is!

I got a little daring and went for a real "depth" picture, but I'm not sure if it turned out right, think I got a little proportion pwned. I just chose a more complex pose than I probably should have, but at least it gives me some practice with stuff I'm not too used to. Getting your clothing and cape pattern to sync up well with the pose was a hassle but I got it done.
Incase you're wondering, he's grabbing a ground transformer and focusing its power into his hand.
Anyways, sleep time, I just really wanted this done =O -
I'm heading to bed. I'll keep this thread around for anyone that wants a drawing done. I'll go through them first come first serve basis, if they ever come at all, heh.

All very nice! I don't really have any critique that goes beyond sheer nitpicking, you have a real nack in your shading ability.
As for the bird, I see your picture is exercising use of yellow and red mostly, So giving the tips of the feathers a gradually increasing red coloring (light at the top then darker towards the bottom or vice-versa) might be a cool idea, but that's my taste, gradients are cool.
I'm not really anything special myself, so take it worth a grain of salt, but Thumbs up. -

Find an image hosting site like photobucket.com or imageshack.us and upload there then paste a direct link url into your sig text with the [img] [/img] tags. It should show up.I can't get it to upload an image from disk or use a url. Seems to expect the url to begin with www...

The lighting effect did turn out very well. I'm not sure about the proportions of Brandi's face and the right foot there, but maybe that's just me? Oh well, I feel like a jerk when I critique :/
Overall great piece, nice lighting and colouring work. -
Anyone want anything done? I do my stuff in sketching form. I just found my good pencil and my scanner is working. Might be good for some way for me to blow off time. I've already spent some of this time on the following sketches =)
So what ya' want? Shoot concepts and characters or what ever my way =D -
I'm not sure if those procs carry over properly to "damage pets" like those created in lightning rod, chain induction, and shield charge. Have you tried them in any other attack with taunt effect?
If you continue using those IOs in the "pet damage" type powers and they still cease to give you any results, I'd PM castle or someone to see what's up, and if it's a known bug. -
Hmm, what aren't we getting that we want?
I'd say:
- More back detail options! Like backpacks and jetpacks and stuff. I realize there's no scaling "mount point" for those yet, but seriously. I'm looking at the back of my character all the time and I want something cool there to look at =(
- More large scale encounters are a definite yes. More specifically, encounters that amount to more than just a "sack of HP". I want to see unique attacks and techniques come out of these big guys.
- More "detailed" maps. I like tilesets as much as the next guy, it makes map assembly easier, but it just doesn't turn out as well as a more purpose built or detailed map. Some unique maps have real nice bits, like the Mu Vault and the broken elevators you can jump down in that one escaped demon mission.
- I wish to see further development of the "alternate animations" thing they've done with sets like martial arts and super strength. I want to see cool alternate animations sets we can mix and match for other power sets like fire blast that centers around fire "breathing" or a more brutesque version of claws (large wild slashes as opposed to the typically more controlled "efficient" slashes of current claws)
- Base love. Period.
- All the issues have been carrying so much for the players that the world feels left behind. We're more powerful and shiny than ever but our world sure isn't. I'd like to think, however, that this will be addressed very well with Going Rogue -
You can already unlock an AUX item that increases the amount of HP/End you receive when rezed, but it takes quite a bit to earn, and is only a 10% boost to the recovery. Increasing that to a 25% or more boost per AUX attached would be an idea.
I agree on adding a mission teleporter type device in the med-bay, but it would also have to be earnable some how, as it creates immense convenience ontop of other conveniences in the base, like power-up stations and inspiration storage. -

It's rather redundant when you get something that's more affective and costs less later in your career. The only plus I can see for it is that it will actually knock the enemies back, providing some mitigation, unlike force bubble which only provides repel(with a chance for KB if they manage to get in the bubble.
Other than that, yeah, rather useless. -

I'll have to reserve final judgment for when I actually see what the set is like, of course, but I'm thinking I'll either go Fire, or Dark. Just can't go wrong, and it's thematic.

Quote:As mentioned, you should be able to get animated stuff, just make sure it's the right size and proportion (see my Av)The FORUMHOME template needs work. It is way to awkward to use in it's current state.
Lack of animated avatars means I am going to have to find a new one
Not to thrilled with Red buttons on a blue based theme but it could work.
Minor issues. I am a big fan of vBulletin so most of them can be overlooked. Forum home needs to have sub forums displayed, possably with new threads showing at that level. There is a mod to do it but I do not know how well it scales up.
I agree on the home issue. I just make sure I go through the "English" link at the top of that page and the layout ends up looking similar to the old boards. It does need addressing. -

Don't go tossing around the name of PIE without proof of PIE's true endorsement of this conquest.
PIE has had its name crudely destroyed by the injustices of others claiming to be of relation to him before. Those impostors were sentenced to death by being turned into pies, as a form of entertaining and delicious capital punishment.
You do not want to be one of those people >=( -

I played the actual game.
I did a lot of biking, sometimes to place sometimes to really no where at all.
Browsed about a couple different forums. Painfully different =(
Oh, it's good to be back =D -

Quote:There are TWO spec ops, gotta remember that. All those other controls you mentioned are on a single high tier henchmen, where as mercs has two medium tier for their control. Though, admittedly, they do not attack in unison enough to stack often, it does have to be taken into account more than it is.I think it's sad how long recharging and short duration the Spec Ops controls are.
Flashbang(15') is on a 120 second timer and does mag2 stun for 8.94 seconds.
Tear Gas(15') is on a 180 second timer and does mag3 hold for 8.94 seconds.
Web Grenade(ST) is on a 30 second timer and does mag3 immobilize for 22.35 seconds.
While...
Bruiser Hand Clap(15') is on a 30 second timer and does mag2 stun(50% for mag3) for 14.90 seconds.
Bruiser KO Blow(ST) is on a 25 second timer and does mag3 hold for 18.63 seconds.
Lich Petrifying Gaze(ST) is on a 16 second timer and does mag3 hold for 14.90 seconds.
Lich Fearsome Stare (70', 30 degree arc) is on a 20 second timer and does mag3 fear for 27.94 seconds.
Lich Tenebrous Tentacles(40', 30 degree arc) is on a 10 second timer and does mag3 immobilize for 27.94 seconds.
Oni Char(ST) is on a 8 second timer and does mag3 hold for 22.35 seconds.
Oni Ring of Fire(ST) is on a 4 second timer and does mag4 immobilize for 27.94 seconds.
Although it is a complicated list, we can see that the Thugs Bruiser is not only an excellent damage dealer but his controls are nothing to sneeze at either. Especially when they turned his Hand Clap to knockdown.
The Lich is supposed to be a control monster, and trades damage and survivability for that. But the Spec Ops trade damage for control too, but there is no contest who drew the longest straw. Anyway, looking at Fearsome Stare, it looks to be 20s for the Lich while it is 40s for every other AT so the Lich got it "pre-enhanced" out of the box.
Oni controls, while ST, are on short timers so they can affect bosses and such quickly and make them into statues.
The Spec Ops controls have debuffs in them too... but come on. Mercs deserve a little boost.
The one change I would like is for their controls to come with a little more "utility" in it. Tear Gas grenades have some some -tohit -percept and chance for puke? And Flashbangs should definitely get some more -def -tohit to reflect the power used by the PPD SWAT's power(obviously toned down for MMs though -
Hot sauce, very nice. I didn't realize how often I browsed the forums 'till it was taken down. Rough few days

They shouldn't attack the foe unless specifically told to, as in put in "attack my target mode" Being in any other mode with defensive or aggressive shouldn't have them attacking that enemy. When intangible, the enemy generates an 'aggro' of 0 IIRC, thus the AI never considers attacking the intangible subject.
I could be completely wrong on this though.
EDIT: I just double checked this on test. I was wrong, they will attack enemies with intangibility like Detention field, when in aggressive or attack modes, but only if the fight has started. I just walk up to a intangible foe, they won't do anything, but if a foe is rendered intangible mid battle they will still attack it. You can either re-direct their attacks, or simply hit follow and they should dis-engage that target.
