Quote:It has a chance to proc once when you summon a pet (this buffs YOU), AND also for every time a pet attacks4) Build Up proc in the pets? I'm not sure how well this works, it either has a chance to fire only when you summon one (not that useful) or when the pets attack (useful). Anyone know?
(This buffs that individual pet), this applies to all of the pet's powers and its AoE's get multiple chances to proc per target hit.
No matter what type of WS you build, the pets IMO should always be included/used, they add alot of firepower especially AoEs. With large enough spawns, the proc would be constantly proc for each pet. -
Quote:Mace mastery isnt so much to slow someone down, its for -jump/fly. Most if not all PvP builds have both SS/SJ, so being able to stop half their mobility and all of their vertical movement is paramount.if your intent is also to slow an enemy into submission then a good thing to go with that would possibly be mace pool
but honestly, most poeple are gonna resist that a lot (elec and sr can both get huge resists to slow), and i dont know if they count under mezzes so i dont know if they would be hugely suppressed
if you can manage to stack on a lot of slows then you should be fine (if you went traps you would be forced to take a slowing and -fly power) -
Quote:I could only see the top two items being implemented, most of the others are so definitely never going to happen even if they were actively working on PBs right at this moment (especially the mez res/protection one)I would die of happiness if these changes were actually implemented. @_@
But I would love to be able to use Orbiting Death while in WS dwarf form
PS: add a taunt when in dwarf form and also to Dwarf Mire would be nice to aggro as well, don't know why PB dwarf's AoE has taunt but not dwarf Mire -
While yours is any different and you are so much better then everyone that you don't need it so it must suck?

Protector Bots also need some end reductions once you get the second upgrade, or they will run their blue bar into the ground with Photon Grenades and Seeker Drones. One Acc/Dam/End is enough end reduction while still providing some acc/dam

It used to not, but now it does give exp to targets you kill with the arc. (Same update that fixed how the arc would hit allies if the target was confused)

Quote:QFT. BU + Aim + Nuke? (especially crashless ones)Not at all true. Spike damage helps you kill troublesome targets quickly and by frontloading all your best DPA attacks. Wiping out most of the lieutenants/minions in a single AoE volley helps reduce the damage you take. The huge ToHit buff allows you to land hits when heavily debuffed and end fights that you otherwise couldn't because every other hit is whiffing. Spike damage is especially important for Blasters who usually can't stand there to trade hits. Even if you're playing a softcapped whatever, when fighting defense debuffing enemies you'll usually want to kill things quick before cascading defense failure can set in.

You can still build for recharge without any Purples. (which is what Silver was talking about)
Being unable to build for recharge without Purples =\= Purpled Builds have more recharge.
Edit: people can still build high recharge builds, perma dom etc, without a single purple set. -
Then you haven't jumped around Grandville in your low 40s and jumped into a level 50 Bane Spider or Super Arachnoid spawn that seem to lurk whenever you stop paying attention.

My MM when fully buffed (personal) and the enemy is fully debuffed can reduce AV damage into the single digiits, my pets can get nowhere near that kind of mitigation. The only problem is keeping aggro, which is what provoke/challenge fill in

And i think the perception of Claws under performing came from the time before real numbers, and when we finally got them, and people crunched the numbers, Claws was found to be pretty competitive. Alot of it seems to have been perception. (small damage numbers etc)

The game takes your highest defense number against the ENTIRE power, with softcapped S/L defense, Bonesmasher would take the Smashing defense to see if the power would hit/miss, and if it does miss, the entire power misses, there is no half miss etc. If you had softcapped melee defense, it would do the same, which is why people recommend to stack one type of defense, typed OR positional.

And now that time period has set into the general population that Rad is/was the only buff/debuff set that you need/want to kill AVs/GMs.

I think the main thing people need to learn is that most animals dont just attack for no reason. Most creature that we are afraid of, are also afraid of us! They tend to attack because they feel threatened and are protecting themselves(or their young), so one of the main rules of dealing with wild animals is to not make any threatening or sudden movements/actions and to back off slowly. Freaking out tends to make things worse and make them more likely to attack.

Oddly enough, while spiders make my skin crawl, I have no problem with their cousins, Scorpions, maybe since they seem more menacing then creepy.

The damage from the burning buildings is a large multiple of your maximum health, and it hits multiple times. So the more health you have, the more damage it does, hence the insane damage number on the Kronos Titan.

Oni has two RoFs. Rain of Fire, and Ring of Fire, the AoE rain power and a single target immoblize respectivly

Quote:Storm is a natural end hog, with the increased end costs associated with being an MM, you REALLY need stam. IE. L-Storm for MMs is a base 39 end, so 40% of your end bar, with one power. Then add the other, now more expensive, powers on top of that, and you could empty your end bar with two or three powers (with no end reduc).Bingo. I have 2 traps, both with no Stamina. As mentioned previously, it's only an issue if resummoning becomes hot and heavy. I definitely like to have 2 columns of blues in reserve.
My FF MM has it but I'm about to respec out, I think.
The rest of them... I couldn't dream of a Stamina free life -
PD - no way, especially since this was built for true tankerminding
Dark - I wouldn't do it, though I suppose a clever build could get away with it. I use my epic AOE attack with this guy though.
Poison - I can't see how I'd skip it since I spam the secondary powers.
I don't have hands-on experience with Thermal, Storm and TA for MMs, though I do on other ATs. I don't consider any of those 3 endurance friendly outside of MMs, can't imagine it would be better for MMs. -
The level of attendance and how fast people show up is lightyears away from what Blueside Hamis experience. Most raids happen right on scheduled unlike Blueside that fills up beforehand. I really wish that more Villains did hami raids, considering it is the one easiest ways to get merits for my villains. :P
