- Tights for Valentine's Hellenic Sandals
- Option for Valentine's Victory Laurel male & female hairs without the laurel (or better, add them like base hairs). I think there's a male NPC in praetoria that already use the hair without it.
- Vanguard Backpack, Mace, TW & Staff
- Rularuu TW & Staff
- Celestial Shield, Bow, TW & Staff
- Boots, gloves & belt
- Hairs
- Gloves (without the cuffs) & SASH!!!
- Headcom, gauntlets & shoulders (I presume that the chest detail can't be ported because it needs to be scalable with the chest sliders and it was not designed with that in mind)ed with that in mind) -

Quote:What's a "Heh, spike!"?
Q: Will we be pushed to the edge of utter despair for 3 or 4 issues or will it be just "Heh, spike!"
A: We're going with the one that makes the better story.
Q: Will we be seeing the side picking like in GR?
Didn't catch the answer to that one.
Also, if I understood correctly, they said you don't want to side with a race that would obliterate you and all you know. -

Quote:The problem with the Symbiotic name is that it implies the armor is a living thing while the Bio name allows the interpretation of the armor being your own body. That, and also Marvel.I never went digging through the PIGGs, I was fortunate enough to see it linked in-game while on beta. BTW, Symbiotic Armor sounds WAY better. The term 'bio' is commonly associated with using the rest room. They really want to avoid ANY sort of connection between the two, unless they want people to start referring to Bio Armor as **** Armor. Just saying.
I have told all my SG mates about it, and I will most certainly respec my namesake into it when it's officially released, but I won't mention it by name on these forums out of respect.
Maybe "Biotic Armor"? -

Quote:Can you name a mutant group other than the Outcasts?People keep pointing out individual mutants as if that were the problem. But there are individual mutants - there are no mutant groups or storylines beyond the Outcasts.
- The Awakened
- Coralax (it's not really clear if the coral's power is mutant or magical, maybe even pseudo-incarnate)
- Devouring Earth (both prime and praetorian)
- The Infested
- Paragon Protectors (well, actually is a mix of mutant and science)
- Seers
- Slag golems (see coralax)
- Snakes (mix of mutant, magic and/or incarnate)
- Syndicate
- Nuclear 90 (not in game)
Paragon Protectors (but yeah, like you say later, mixed origin) -
The best place could be just next to the video projector: nothing that can block the image and good angle, they only need to put it the way that the light of the projector doesn't hinder the view.

I found a weird problem:
- Select a costume piece not purchased (it has the cart icon to the right)
- Save the costume.
- Now try load. It says it can't do it. Select "Attempt costume fix". Load.
- Now ALL costume pieces not purchased are hidden in the costume menus.
If you tick and untick "Only show free costumes" the problem is fixed but the costume is reset, so it's impossible to load a costume saved if it uses a non-purchased costume piece. -
Quote:Yeah, they could make the game recommends arcs based in ratings done by people that rated arcs you already rated, but maybe is too resource intensive.2) Server-wide rating system. People have different interests, and lately I've been seeing 5-starred content-less farms that go so far as telling you the easiest AT's to farm with. Totally not my interest, but enough 5-star those (and 1-star stories that don't have optimal XP rewards) that the rating system is rather useless.
I can't alt-tab out of the game easily on my PC to check the boards for player-advertised arcs or aeon's weekly MA arcs, but that's about the only reliable resource I'd found.
Imagine if the game had a "review/refer system." Imagine if you could see the ratings from JUST the people you've friended (who may be more likely to share your interests) or added to a "reviewer list. You'd have a personalized rating system that better reflects what you want out of the AE system. -
Quote:Bug? To use Praetoria to show reflections for every map looks wrong to me.Seems to me that the green is just part of the environment mapping on the helm rather than a tint. The reflection that is used in the Costume Creator is similar to the middle of Atlas Park, and so it picks up some of the green from the grassy areas. It won't be the same in most zones of the game. (I'm wrong here)
Edit: So it turns out the same environment map is used in all zones/maps, never noticed it before. -

Guys, drop the analogies, is more simple.
- CoH can be played for free.
- The rewards are for ppl that paid the 4 months of game (13x4=52)
- During the same time, ppl could drop the subscription, use it to play another game AND still play CoH for FREE.
So, allowing anyone purchase the rewards by less than 52 is a slap in the face of the costumers that maintained their subscriptions. -
I think the problem is that people don't see that this was a loyalty program that rewarded NOT GOING TO ANOTHER GAMES RELEASED IN THAT TIME FRAME, not a program that rewarded long-time players (that's the Paragon Rewards).
If they offer the rewards for less that the subscription price of that time frame, then it defeats the purpose of the program. Why should I maintain my subscription and not spend the money in the new game if not only can I get the rewards later but maybe I can get them cheaper?
Think about that.
Edit: NH, you wrote the same thing while I was. :P -

Quote:Actually Wardens are Science, they use superserums to give them powers.Yeah couple of disagreements.
Longbow Wardens have been presented as Mutants not Magic.
The game universe presents Psionics/Psychics as Mutant so Syndicate wouldn't be magical
Now adding more
Carnival Mutant/Magic mix
Malta are Natural/Tech
Croatoa groups 4x magic
so 42 groups now
Magic: 11
They're Natural psychics (like fortunatas, widows and bane spiders) but they are very scarce and they need a lot of training to performance like a common mutant psychic. -

Quote:And they do it with EVERY expansion. I'm in the revamp wagon, but what they do with that game is insane. Learn to play your class, learn builds, get the equipment and 1 year later... scrap all that and start from the beginning because they revamped even the way the class is played.Indeed.. A certain other company who runs a well known MMO tend to do the "Drastic change routine". The results are generally pretty.. Cataclysmic *wink wink* at times, with massive power shifts between uber and gimpy.

Quote:Even with Praetoria no more, they can go on with the story. The few people who fled to Primal could schism in several faction:This certainly sounds like a Pyrrhic victory for Primal, that's for sure. It'll be interesting to see how the Praetorian tutorial goes over once the dust has settled.
Or will the tutorial get turned off? Maybe you can choose to be a Praetorian, but one who got out before the end. I doubt it, but damn, it's going to be bittersweet to play through those arcs knowing it's all for naught, no matter which side of the conflict you were on.
(Thank you to those who were able to watch it and report back to the rest of us.)
- True Loyalist, people who follow the path of Cole ("you can't trust mankind", "look what they did to our world").
- Reformist, people who want to rebuild Praetoria in a better way.
- Pariah, people who find a new home in the Primal Earth.
With those 3 new factions they have fuel to more conflict: conspirations, espionage, old comrades fighting one each other... -
Quote:Well, look at the bright side, Resistance didn't get the city.I've got to say... I'm rather... not sad, but... upset rather, that Praetoria gets nuked. My characters from Praetoria always hoped to be able to go back, to help the place become more democratic and fair. And now a nuclear weapon goes off above it levelling the entire city?
Maxi Pound will have lost her family, her friends in the PPD, and others. Zahir Rolando will have fully lost the apartment that once belonged to him and his partner, before a Resistance terrorist bombing of a restaurant cost him his legs and his partner his life. Constance Svanhildr will have no IDF to go back to, to try and help rebuild and retrain.
I was always hoping the Resistance wouldn't win and get the city for themselves. But if this is the alternative...
Dang.Major downer.
