I had this problem about a week and a half ago and thought it might be heat related. An in game friend suggested I try this program called open hardware monitor, it monitors the temps of the main processors and gpus.

A few days after, I awoke and the PC would not power on at all. Ended up being the PSU died.

With this software, I noticed a dramatic reduction in GPU temp with the new PSU installed. My guess was that as the PSU was in the process of failing, not enough power was getting to the fans to spin them fast enough to cool.

I would get a PC reboot every time some heavy graphics occurred like is happening with you.

I run that mission with a Fire/WM tank and he kills just fine. I use Burn, Whirling Mace, Crowd Control, Shatter -- 2 AoE's ; 2 cones -- they all fall down.

I only run it until I max out tickets, then buy rare salvage that I'm low on.

I'll try Ice. I had one /Nin but ended up deleting it at 26. I play Dark Armor and Regen.

Is it perhaps me being mistaken that the slot is not categorized this way, and just the card?

My mobo is an ASUS P5BW-LA, and it just says the slot is PCI-Express X16, not v1.0, v1.1 or v2.0.

Maybe only the cards are categorized this way.

I had this happen to me yesterday while running an ouroboros flashback set of missions (task force?), to get Alexander Pavlidis to surrender.

When it came time to kill 35 Family, I decided to zone from north indy to bricks then gate to south indy to get to family that was high 20's. The pets just stood at the gate. I released them, resummoned but they didnt resummon.

I decided to run down into the magic store in south indy. Then resummon. Didnt work. They eventually just entered the store and stood there.

I logged off this character, onto another character, on another server, then back. Same unresponsive pets appeared when I relogged back into the magic store, except they were standing by me.

I ended up logging off for about an hour. Then came back and the pets could actually be resummoned.

I didnt know about the slash command mentioned earlier. I usually just click them and hit x. How is this slash command different? Would that have worked for me?

What are the differences between a PCI Express x16 slot, and a PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot?

Does that just mean the card will take up 2 slot spaces?

I put in a new power supply that has the capability of powering a new generation of video card, up from my current NVIDIA GeForce 9500GT. But I only have one PCI Express x16 slot on my mobo.

You can't use it on Fireball, as that is a targetted AoE power which would require something like a Positron's Blast set. (which is also reasonable) You can only use Thunderstrikes on single target attacks that accept ranged damage sets.

Well maybe its only the people that have visited Null the Gull, when they're on your team, that are causing the errors? We're you showing up fine for everyone else?

None of my characters on live have visited Null, and I haven't had any zone peculiarities. Of course, I was only on two or three teams since the update, so my chances of seeing this have been small.

Hover also gets a good boost from Steam Jump, if you have the steampunk pack.

My old Inv/ is still pretty much frankenslotted and/or common IOs.

When we got inherent fitness, I took the passives and kept them a 1 slot.

With Tough and Weave running, and Tough Hide 3 slotted, 6 mobs surrounding me in melee, I am at both the S/L resistance cap, and 45% S/L defense.

This also includes T3 cardiac Alpha slot.

Here's a solution for the OP. As soon as possible after you get that purple recipe, email it to your global. Then its out of your inventory and you dont have to worry about accidentally deleting or selling it.

Since too many people will have to abandon their long standing SG and VG bases to move to the new VIP server, can that server only have an expanded Ouroboros teleportation feature. From Ouro ship to ANY zone in the game? Well from blue side ouro ship to any blue side zone(even Pocket D and the Hive), and from red side ouro to any red side zone accessible zone (even Pocket D and Monster Island).

This would make the loss of base usage a bit easier to take. Loss of Base storage I can deal with through email, and I can still build a cheap base on the new server for invention table access only.

I see. The /screenshot command is working. Dunno why Print Screen button is not. Yes. I am on Vista.

I have always used the Print Screen button on my KB to take screen dumps that have gone automatically into my /CityofHeroes/screenshots/ folder. However, this has stopped happening. Now it seems Print screen doesn't do anything. I have check my keymapping, and Print Screen is still selected to take jpg screenshots, so I don't know what else to check. Anyone else have this problem before and can help me correct this?
