SR, Quickness+fly?

does the SR ability quickness help with fly these days or is it just run speed?


(edit, nvm, I checked the midi's thing, and it looks like it excepts this enhancement, so im guessing it works, if it doesnt please let me know)

It boosts fly speed as well. City of Data Link.
Note: I believe Fly is set to cap fly speed by itself at level 50.

Favorite Hero: Computer (Empathy/Energy Blast Defender)

Favorite Villain: Gimp Computer (Fire Control/Psionic Assault Dominator)

thanks.. it would be more for when in hover mode during combat.. I thought fly needed 2 enhancers to cap, but taht might be different these days.. i know things like to change a little here and there

Well, that is one of the things that has changed significantly. These days flight hits the cap without any enhancement, so you can take your base slot and use it for knock-back protection without slowing down.

I've been curious to try a character with Swift 2 slotted for flight, Quickness (or Lightning Reflexes) two slotted for flight, and Nerve with the flight speed bonus, to see how fast I can go with Hover.

I think it's ~44mph before set bonuses.

Hover also gets a good boost from Steam Jump, if you have the steampunk pack.

Here's what I don't understand. When I get speedboosted I seem to fly faster. Is that just my imagination?

I think I need to test this.

I often slot swift and hover for flight speed, in order to make it fast enough for use in combat. What makes it brilliant for combat though is when a kin SB's you, makes hover perfect! So yes SB boosts flight speed!
