  1. Create a support ticket. They probably have to do something to fix your account.

Ah, thanks. It's been a while since I've bound those commands.

5 randoms can be amazing, but of course there's no guarantee there.
  4. Actually, you don't need to tweak an .ini file to do what you're after.

Try typing one of these in your chat bar:
    /bind shift+lbutton mouselook
    /bind ctrl+lbutton mouselook
    /bind alt+lbutton mouselook

You can try "/bind lbutton mouselook", but I'm not sure if doing so will mess with your ability to click on things (characters, doors, contacts, glowies). You can still try it, and if it does cause problems, you can use /unbind lbutton

If you want to move the camera around the character, and not turn your character with the command, then replace mouselook with camrotate

As for mouse buttons 4 and 5, the game is configured to recognize joystick buttons, but they don't tend to be enabled by default. You can search for keybinds, or use the keybind tab in your option menu to try and bind a command to these buttons. Personally, I like the idea of having a powexec [powername] bind to such buttons, so that you could (for example) fire off a commonly used buff or debuff. PBAoEs tend to be excellent choices. To set such a bind, you use a similar command to the above:
/bind [key name] powexecname [power name]

Just replace [key name] with the proper name of the key you intend to use, and [power name] with the full name of the power you want to activate.

You can find a reference for key names >>> HERE <<<
  5. 1. This depends on the nature of the problem. Software solutions requiring nonlinear development times are fundamentally difficult to test and implement. The nature of the problem may also be something of a harmful nature to discuss in public (eg: exploit fixes, security vulnerabilities). The end time may have been predicted for over two hours ago at the time of this posting, but as above, the nature of the problem can make this difficult to predict.

    2. The downtime was announced (see here). This is the usual scope of a "common courtesy" in the gaming industry.

    3. Their advance indication of Issue 20 going live last week was both vocal and dependable, to cite a recent counterexample. As for things to do with level 50s, there are also badge hunts, new task forces and WSTs going on with reasonable frequency when I've looked for them. You may also try running lower level characters/content or running with a supergroup. (Well, when the servers are running)

    4. Yes, wanting to run the game and finding it unavailable is a nuisance.

    5. I find minesweeper to be quite a bit of fun, and assuming you're a Windows user, you won't have to pay for it. Given that you seem to be interested in teaming, however, I can imagine there are a wide variety of games out there for you to enjoy.

    6. Perhaps, but considering that a lot of people actually like playing the game "at night" (which, by the way, varies substantially by time zone), you'd simply be shifting your own inconvenience on to them. I'm sure the game use statistics might provide some backup for when maintenance is done, not to mention that devs do have lives (and families) of their own.

    7. I believe this to be an unnecessary exaggeration.
  6. The threads use void judgement and end up dropping 3 shards from their kills

If the described bug persist the error is on the lvl shift, if the damage is normally then the 50 lvl difference table is just missing .

PS +2 and +3 shifts cant happen cause the shifts are not avail in normal gameplay, they only apply/work in I-Trials .....

What about the "Ultimate" Super inspiration?
  8. A hundred shards?

You could have just about had a backup Alpha Rare for that kind of change!

That said, if you already have all the Alpha rares you want/need, then burning the shards to create threads and new slots is a very reasonable course of action. Expensive, but reasonable.
  9. Prior to the "Pet and pseudopet powers don't benefit from inherited +recharge" nerf, a damage and recharge capped lightning storm (30 strikes of 160.16 damage = 4804.8 damage, spread over 1 minute from a single activation) would probably take the cake for total damage per single activation - and you could have 3 of them out at a time (assuming capped recharge, summoning a new storm every time the power recharges).

...Although if you get into pet assumptions and unlimited time, a given non-expiring pet would eventually achieve more damage than that
  10. I've got Rares for both Cardiac and Spiritual on my Grav/Storm - both rock, but in different ways. With Cardiac Partial Radial, I can spam powers with no discernable movement in my blue bar (All while running Steamy Mist, Charged Armor, Assault and Hurricane), the resist enhancement very nearly caps out my energy resist, which is great for fighting a wide variety of foes, and the range enhancement makes a nice difference once in a while. Cardiac is my weapon of choice when soloing, especially when trying on Giant Monsters and AVs.

With Spiritual Total Core, I bring my big guns to bare more often, and Hasten is only a few seconds from perma in my build. Freezing Rain stacks a bit more and is ready for just about every spawn when I get to them. This is my weapon of choice for big team activity, especially if there are endurance buffs available so that I don't have to worry about running dry (although if I reduce attacks in favor of O2 boosting, AoE control and using my storm tools, it's not as much an issue as when I'm spamming a nonstop attack chain).

I do plan on eventually obtaining rares in Musculature and Nerve, though the former will likely be more useful from the standpoint of using other Incarnate abilities (eg, Judgement), and the latter only really interests me for seeing how much hold duration I can get on my AoE hold.

Well, you'd need more than just brawl, but if you can manage enough dps and survive the length of the fight, then yes you can.

Of course, the same applies without the -regen.

(Essentially, at 85% resistance and given a Giant Monster that normally regenerates an average of 200hp/s, the -regen effect increases your DPS by 60% x (100%-85%) x 200 = 18 hp/s. 200hp/s is approximate because I don't have the exact giant monster regeneration rate on hand atm)
  12. Better yet, pound him with insane amounts of -resist.

If you really want to be cheap, wander in to Warburg and pick up some Chem Nukes.
  13. In an incarnate trial, I'd noticed that I'd slotted my +Resist Cardiac rare, and my Energy Resistance had dropped from about 69% to 62% - the alpha bonus disappeared. This also followed a brutal defeat at the hands of the Praetorians.

    No problems in regular content.

    Howdy.

The real TW now operates on a collective psychic lattice. If you go off topic, your brain gets fried.
  15. 79% to unlocking interface after two failed Lambda's. Of course, this is on my Triumph 50 who's been getting almost all of my incarnate attention. I may have to get my act into gear over here where I hear the successful runs are happening...

Also, closer to my first purple Alpha. 14 shards to go...

...One day, there will be an Incarnate Captain Squirrel. Just 25 levels to go...
  16. Welcome back, Charlie! I just happen to be free this Friday evening, so I'll be sure to tune in.
  17. I would certainly welcome some league select commands. I might be tempted to set up some bind files with 0/9 on the numpad to switch between league teams and then 1-8 to select a particular member of each team...

Leagues have been fantastic for earning heal badges with only o2 boost, even without the direct select commands

  19. The purpose of build 3 is to get me, and players like me, to stockpile influence as we try to figure out what in the world to do with a 3rd build, when we've hardly even done anything with #2 builds.
  20. The median is 3.

The average depends on how often you fight Ghost Widow. /rimshot

As for Acro, the more useful part of the "hold protection" is actually the resistance. It's much harder to get permaheld when you actually resist the duration.
  21. It really is one thousand cuts. The problem is that the attacks are so fast that the human eye can only capture 11

Why do I have to keep telling people that?
  23. I'd like to third the option wherein you take Tactics - against enemies that are higher level or come equipped with defense, Tactics makes a massive difference. You might also look into invention sets that grant accuracy bonuses. You can get accuracy bonuses from the following:

Slotting 4 different Thunderstrike enhancements in the same Ranged Damage power (eg, your gun attacks)
Slotting 4 different Positron's Blast enhancements in the same Targetted AoE power (eg, Photon Grenade)
Slotting 4 different Luck of the Gambler enhancements in the same Defense Power (your forcefield powers) *This set can be very expensive
Slotting 4 different Adjusted Targetting enhancements in the same To Hit buff power (eg, Tactics)

...those aren't the only sets that give Accuracy bonuses, but they will probably be the most useful to your powersets, as there's a fairly good chance you'll have selected some of the above powers and slotted them at least 4 times.

Note that a given "bonus amount" (eg, +9% Accuracy) can only be used up to 5 times. This means that if you slot 4 Positron's Blast enhancements in 4 powers, and 4 Luck of the Gambler enhancements in 2 powers, you'll only get 45% (9% x 5) of the 54% bonus it would normally add up to. Note also, that 45% in global accuracy will probably be more than enough (combined with an SO worth of slotted accuracy) than you need to cap your hit chance against neary anything you fight.
  24. Grav/Storm controller. Hurricanes, lightning bolts, and everything that isn't mine being flung around like rag dolls.
