  2. Trust me the snipe isnt a beautiful sight because it takes freakin 8 seconds to animate on stalkers and doesn't do all that damage. And a normal blast can fit in your attack chain, elec is lacking in the ST department.
  3. I can reach 58.9% s/l res on my elec brute with tough, I don't think you can get close to 70s. Maybe about 63% with the PVP +3 res IO.
  4. I heard 25-30 is a good spot for bronze because of steadfasts and karmas. But I also hears 35-39 is great because of K. Combats, Miracles, etc...
  5. I'm guessing rare salvage for low levels and then bronze rolls, but which range? 25-30? 35-40?

  6. Forget zapp, get a decent epic attack like dark blast or mu bolts. You also shouldn't have to take tough, weave and maneuvers to softcap a nin if built right, this toon will be an end hog...

    What kind of well-built PvE team is not capable killing bosses? I prefer having more AoE's, b/c it was faster timewise to get rid of +4 bosses.

    There was no reason for me to get a strong ST such as EM/ over a decent AoE.

    No need to get butthurt , I get it, AoE is great for teams. I just think that ST stalkers, especially DM and EM, which offer high DPS and great burst respectively, are good for your casual pve team for taking out the biggest threats fast.

    Outside of power surge you don't have almost capped s/l resists. And you son't have all this resist to psi either.

    It's only a 10% chance to fire per target, that's why it works well in Footstomp. It may also work well in E. Torrent if you manage to hit lots of targets with it, but not so much in Ripper where you'll probably hit 2 or 3 targets tops. YMMV but I think the proc in torrent is enough. IIRC the proc has a 10 sec cooldown (or 5 sec) where it cannot stack so if you use Energy Torrent a lot the proc is completely wasted on Ripper.
  10. Slotting Fearsome Stare for to-hit would increase it from 15% to about 21-23%. I'd slot it like that for tohit:

    I question the accuracy of this statement. I'm pretty sure Burn is auto-hit if they are within it's radius. I don't recall even being able to SLOT for accuracy outside of sets.

    Yup you're right, I didn't look, I went by Mid's saying it has 75% acc. I never noticed that since I picked burn late when I was IO'ing my SS/Fire Brute and ended up with some acc due to set usage...
  13. Recharge, recharge, recharge - then movement speed, and in my case, regen and +HP.

    That's stupid, Total Focus does 203 damage unenhanced and ET does 253, almost the same as a crit Eagle's claw. And you don't need TF and ET to crit to do stupid damage like the other tier 9s. EM is fine for a boss killer in PvE teams, Spines and Elec can wipe the minions while you work on hard targets. And if you're a defensive set you're probably use your controlled crits (from Hide) with AS anyway.
  15. Your acc on th ST attacks are too low. Use a CI acc/dam/rech instead of the dam/rech after the kinetic combats, you'll still be capped for damage.
  16. From what I've seen or played, DM, FM or BS.
  17. 1) You're trading too much damage for procs, especially in your auras. Slot 2 daa/end and 2 acc/dam/end and the procs in them so you maximize damage. I'm not a fan of proccing auras but it's up to you.

    2) The FF +recharge in ripper will do almost nothing to you.

    3) YOU WANT FIERY EMBRACE.

    4) Try to max damage in Spine Burst.

    5) Burn has low accuracy.
  18. (1) Elude won't raise your survivability once you're soft-capped except in pvp and in AE missions with custom crtters that have build up or aim, so you don't need it.

    (2) Slot weave with endurance reduction as well. I'd put at least two HOs for 66% end discount.

    Well I actually agree with you. I just bought it because my richest toon had 900 mil and I know they'll go up in price (see patch notes for test, pvp ios will only frop from rep-worthy kills). So I'm hoping I'll sell it for much higher later, and if not I can always use it on my lowbie fire/invul when I finish leveling him...

    Well Provoke is an AoE taunt that lasts for 25ish seconds when well-slotted. Great for MMs and I guess might be good for tanking scrappers.
  23. You can't skip clobber, it's your best attack!

    Also, use a crushing impact triple (acc/dam/rech) for your attacks instead of the dam/rech or else your accuracy will stay at 23%ish.
