I totally understand, St0n3y. That's why I try to post my questions in your Release threads, and help answer other questions I come across, or at the least, point them to your thread.

Infinity is my Guardian Crashes backup server.

It's always a good idea to update it. There are many people who lurk on the forums, and still download things like this.
Heck, I lurked on the forums for a year or so, before I finally decided to make an account. -
It may be easier, but I'm with Impish Kat: Not a member of TN, and have no plans of ever joining. I tend to post my tech issues with Mids' into the thread(s) St0n3y makes here when he releases a new version, and hope that he at least sees my post.

My theory is this:
Show Last Objective makes all missions into Defeat All Plus, i.e. you have to defeat all foes, PLUS do whatever the actual objectives are. When you get down to the last mob, or last few foes from the last mob, then the Last Objective will show.
That means that, unfortunatly, this feature doesn't bring anything to the table when attempting to Stealth a mission.
Note that I said this is a theory. I've had it for about 2 weeks now, but I haven't had the time to test it out yet. -
It does the same thing if you have the recipe on hand, and drag it to the chat window. As a matter of fact, any recipe that has a % in the name will do this.
I'd say it's a bug caused by the % being interperated as code, instead of plaintext. -
My search-fu may be weak, causing me to have missed an existing thread for this, but I didn't see one, so...
Saturday, May 8, was BackAlleyBrawler's birthday!!
Happy Belated Birthday, Mr. Brawler!! -
Quote:Ah, OK. Just one thing: I use FireFox. Could I just copy the cookies.txt and cookies.sqlite files?You can run it from your own personal website:
* Find your IE cookies folder [after being logged in and remembered by IE and making sure it wrote them to disk]. On XP, it's C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USER_NAME\Cookies. In Vista/7, I think it's C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\Cookies. It's a hidden folder, so you need to enable hidden files first.
* Copy index.dat and YOUR_USER_NAME@boards.cityofheroes*.txt to the same folder where the script is. If you use IE as primary browser there might be a lot of text files in there, just copy the ones with boards.cityofheroes in the title.
* Open the script in Notepad, then:
** Delete the line use Win32::TieRegistry....
** Delete the line my $cookies_dir = $Registry->...
** On the next line, change "$cookies_dir\\index.dat" to just "index.dat"
* Immediately below require 'rep_comments.ini'; add the line print "Content-Type: text/plain\n\n"; so the webserver knows that the script is outputting plain text.
* Delete the line sleep(5);
With those modifications, the script will load your IE cookies from the copy you made, and you can run the script from any web server, because the cookies are stored with the script. The password is not stored in plaintext, so your game login can't be obtained this way; but you run the risk of someone finding what folder you're running it from and gaining access to your forum account. You really want to risk that? -
That's a pretty good question. Unfortunatly, I don't know the answer. My thought would be that it shouldn't matter, since people not in EU are able to play on the EU Servers if they have an EU version of the game, just as people living outside of the US can play on the US Servers with a US version of the game.
If it turns out that a US account needs to send him the Trial Code, send me a PM, and I'll be more than happy to send him one. -
It almost seems like it was written to be one big story if you play the two Villain arcs, and then the two Hero arcs...
-
I find it interesting that it's going up so late in the day.
-
I never got to participate in the fun of the Infinite Herd.
-
I'd be more than happy to live with a lower cap if we could send stacks.

Quote:Guess I'm out of luck, then, because I'm not going to install some avtivexpearl thingy just to see rep comments.Work as in run? Yes. But it won't display anything, because the server doesn't have access to the local cookies for another domain. You'd have to give it your username and password, and I'm not willing to make anything that asks people for their COH username and password.
If I could run it from my own personal website, I'd be good to go. -
It's not a bug. See this:
