  1. My villainous bots/traps mastermind would document what Westin Phipps was really up to, then tie him up and deliver him to Longbow. Even evil has standards, and it would help his image as a villain with good publicity

    Computers have supported IRQ sharing since the introduction of the PCI bus in the mid-90s. The only situation I know of where IRQ conflicts are a problem is with SoundBlaster cards, since they don't implement the PCI spec quite right.

  7. iXP at +0/x1 is very low. Enemies will reward twice as much iXP at +1, so if you can handle it, you should bump your difficulty up.

    Only story arcs give component rewards; repeatables only give threads, merits, and super inspirations.

    The first repeatable mission you run in a 20-hour period gives you the best end reward; after that, rewards for repeatables are reduced.

    Neither of these is the case. Combat and defeat tracking is strictly server-side, so if your defeat count is getting rolled back, it's because the server is crashing before it can update the on-disk copy of your information.

    (You can spot a partial disconnect by noticing that you can move around and see ongoing combat, but you can't activate powers)

    Back in 2003, it was. When their business model changed, the lifetime subscriptions were converted into lifetime ownership of a certain amount of virtual real estate.

    As I recall, it was removed because a F2P game on Steam is required to integrate any in-game market with the Steam software, and give Valve a cut of the money from any market purchases.

    The advantage 3D gives in CoH is the ability to spot side tunnels in the cave maps.
