New repeatable DA missions, questions

I ran some of the repeatable Villain DA missions today and they did not pan out as I thought they would. I wanted to get my understanding of them straight before posting here.

Firstly, I received Incarnate XP when defeating enemies in the missions. However, I don't see any progress in my Incarnate Abilities tab. I'm still at 0% for each after completing two of the missions set at +0/x1. My question here, is the amount of iXP you receive so low that it will take a lot for the progress meter to move? Just for note, I am completely OK with this, I just need to understand what I'm seeing.

Second, upon completing the first mission I received an award table for Incarnate Threads, Reward Merits, or Super Inspirations. I thought there would be an option for Incarnate Components? Or, is that reward table only part of the story arcs in the new DA content?

Lastly, I have read the repeatable missions referred to as "dailies", in that you can only run them once per day. I had assumed this meant that each mission handed out by the contact could only be run once per day for the maximum reward. What I see though is that I can only run one mission from the repeatable contact for the maximum reward, and then any subsequent mission only gives me the "1 incarnate thread" reward table. Is that correct, in that it doesn't matter what mission I pick from them, it will only be the first one I pick?

Thanks in advance!

lesse, in order. The slots require iXP in the millions range, so yeah you're making progress, just not enough to show up yet. Though to be fair you're making it on both slots, since DA stuff is worth both kinds of iXP. If you want a speedier way to earn iXP you can burn threads. It costs 1 mil inf per thread, but you'll gain something like 3% worth of iXP for a judgment/interface slot and 2% for Destiny/Lore. Just go to incarnate Abilities -> Convert. So doing the judgment/interface takes roughly 33 threads and lore/destiny take 50, but that's doing it -purely- on threads.

The reward table that includes components and incarnate merits is only for finishing the DA arcs. The threads/reward merits/super insps are currently the only rewards.

And no, the 'dailies' thing was incorrect. The only cool down on the repeatables atm is the 2 thread reward, which as you've seen becomes 1 thread for 20 hours. But you can run the repeatables as many times as you want and choose the 1 thread/reward merit/super insps every time you complete a mission. It's only the first time you pick the 2 thread reward that it triggers a subsequent 20 hour cool down, regardless of which mission you're running.

Just to note though, the devs have gone on record to say they're going to tweak this reward sometime now that it's gone live. We just don't know what they'll tweak it to or when. But for now yah, the 'main' reward is the 2 threads which you can pick once a day.

iXP at +0/x1 is very low. Enemies will reward twice as much iXP at +1, so if you can handle it, you should bump your difficulty up.

Only story arcs give component rewards; repeatables only give threads, merits, and super inspirations.

The first repeatable mission you run in a 20-hour period gives you the best end reward; after that, rewards for repeatables are reduced.

Doing some quick testing on beta, I saw the same thing. Even con missions yeild less than 1%. You'll have to turn up the difficulty or burn some Threads for iXP if you want faster progress.

If you do the non-repeatable story arcs, you get much higher rewards. I'd do those first, then use the repeatable content as filler later on.

Also, if you possibly can, run Mender Ramiel's arc in Ouroboros to unlock the Alpha Slot on one arc. There's no point in slowly grinding out iXP for the Alpha Slot.

That's only the 2 thread -> 1 thread reward. The reward merits and super insps can be taken repeatedly with no cool down at all.
