Joe Gamer isn't happy with the way Moderator X is managing General Chat. Maybe he got banned for something he considers trivial, maybe he's being shouted down for his opinions, maybe he sees favoritism. Whatever the reason, Joe is upset. The important thing to remember is that as far as Joe Gamer's happiness with General Chat is concerned, it does not matter whether or not Moderator X is a good or bad moderator. It only matters if Joe THINKS he's a bad moderator.
So Joe finds a few friends that also dislike Moderator X and his group, and they create the channel Server Chat. Now, you have two "anything and everything" channels, and what's worse is that sooner or later, someone is going to disagree with Joe Gamer's mod style and make another channel.
Whether Joe is a whiny little snot or a legitimate victim depends on the person and your interpretation. In most cases, if he's a jerk himself, his channel will fail. If enough people think he has a legitimate reason for being upset with Moderator X, his channel will succeed. In most of these cases who is the "good guy" and who is the "bad guy" is ENTIRELY up to interpretation.

A Gadgetry Booster would be awesome. Jetpacks, new tech armor/costume pieces, new travel power boots/gloves, nifty temp power, an aura and or wings/cape.
As for the costume change, no idea. Probably something neat! -
I had a friend who was kicked for being a FF Defender, and not having the Medicine power pool. Seriously.
But I have fantastic luck with teams. I have never been kicked for having an all Support FF Defender, or a petless MM, or having travel powerless toons before we got Jet packs and Ninja Run. I do, however, mostly team with people I know. -

The only turn off I have for PvP is the lack of people. So yeah, if we could get organized interest in it, I'd totally be down.

No idea if this has already been suggested, but I'm going for it.
Instead of giving us Patron or Epic pools to choose from, how about you add a Tenth power to Power sets, and a Fifth power to all power pools? On average, everyone has Two Power Sets, and Two Power pools, and with 10 more levels, that's 4 more earnable powers. They could be ultra powerful moves that still match the powers characters already have, thematically.
For HEATs and VEATs, you'll have to do something completely different. Perhaps add a new Shape to Kheldians with 5 powers, or another small pool for Solders of Arachnos. -

Haha, still my favorite is getting the Petless Mastermind to 50. Oh, and getting the killshot on Lord Recluse.
One thing that freaked many people out was getting Jump Kick, Combat Jumping, and Acrobatics. Some complained cause I didn't have a travel power. Others had no idea you could even DO that. -

I have two friends who both can not log in. They try, and it asks if they want to reactivate their expired account. If you hit yes, a website comes up, but has an error and does not load. If you hit no, nothing happens.
