One doesn't necessarily need to hate anything not rated 'M' to dislike Nintendo titles.

Best arc currently published. If you haven't played it yet, go do that now.
As in, right now. -
Lay off Felicia guys. If my L23 Illusion/Super Reflexes Defender can solo Hamidon, I'm sure it's possible to kill Nictus Romulus four times in 60 seconds solo.
-
Having just played Blight, I'm putting in a vote for that too. It's nothing short of a crime that you can't find that one on the arc listing here on the boards.
-
It'd certainly fit the animation... and my AoE-built plant/thorns sure as hell wouldn't complain.
-
My Plant/Thorns is only 32, so I'm not entirely qualified to talk here, but I get a lot of mileage out of Fling Thorns. Absolutely terrific attack.
-
I'm starting to think people will pay anything for anything given enough time, frustration, and spare change. I fail at market and even I've been doing well lately.
-
While we're on the topic of self promotion, 251983 provides some difficult custom enemies that aren't "impossible." Frustrating, possibly, but I've soloed them on multiple ATs with just a little bit of trouble.
-
I inferno as much as possible when on teams. Then again, I have consume, a rez, and always carry some blues. As previously stated, YMMV.
-
Why? All-lieutenant or boss factions aren't easier, they're the exact opposite.
Why are we still trying to "curb farming" exactly? The AE has been pounded halfway into oblivion with these efforts to stomp something out that has been part of the game for ages anyway. -
I team a bit with a MM/TA, I'd disagree that it doesn't contribute much damage. Between TA resistance debuffs and one -res proc in each pet, they do quite a crap-ton of damage.
-
first question - No.
Second question - If set to an Archvillain, they will spawn as Archvillains alone on D5 or on lower difficulties on teams, and I can't be arsed to figure out *exactly* where the line is
They can spawn as EBs otherwise, or even lower if solo on Difficulty 1.
EBs never scale up to AVs, but scale down similarly on solo D1. -
I suppose the game would end at 50 if you chose not to:
[*] Collect badges
[*] Run MArcs just for the sake of doing it
[*] Ouro back for missed arcs
[*] Ex/Mal down for task forces
[*] Just, I don't know, do the above for the sake of playing with friends.
[*] Participate in raids (once again, not for the sole fact of getting moar merits/inf)
Seriously, enjoy the game. Don't make a chore out of it. That said, isn't the MA in Atlas/Cap already a button that lets people skip right to L50? -
Aww. If only my arc had an office-to-cave map.
-
Just axe a few of the more questionable debuffs like Neurotoxic Breath and Paralytic Poison for buffs. It worked for Pain Domination.
-
It's more that they munch XP up like no other, but you gave sufficient warning, and like you said, it's too over-the-top not to enjoy.
-
I like this idea. I'm starved for feedback on my arc, but am too shy to put my arc up for review when I'm not sure whether the reviewer shares the same idea of 'fun' or 'quality' that I do.
-
Came across your arc earlier and decided to pipe in here, though you didn't ask for it...

Speeding Through Time
Arc ID: 51728
Length: Long
Morality: Heroic
Description: A man claiming to be a former member of the Freedom Phalanx insists he needs your help to combat a menace you've never heard of. Is this just a delusional old man or are you really about to save the world from a threat that time has forgotten? Come for the story, not the XP. EB's and allies abound.

Fun arc. I know I shouldn't like an arc with zillions of EBs, outdoor hunts, and mass-EB ambushes, time travel, and the "strongest hero ever to exist", but somehow it all comes together pretty nicely. The sheer number of EBs in the third mission might be a little much, but just taking away that fulcrum shift and build up would make me feel more like the hero than the spectator. All in all, I'd call the arc a mess of usually bad things that end up coming out splendidly. Four stars from me, only because the Blur's somewhat overpowered power picks (and "presence", if you know what I mean.) made me feel like just sitting back and watching him do the work.
I'd play it again. -
Huntsmen and Fortunatas definitely have a lot of extra hold protection.
-
In small maps, there's nothing wrong with defeat alls. In large maps? I don't know how you could possibly rationalize it being fun or even needed according to the story, but to each their own.
-
Thorns has wonderful AoE to go with Seeds.
-
Why ask for a review if you intended to disregard all negative feedback? I wouldn't even call him the harshest reviewer on these boards for that matter.
-
Don't you even dare touch that Beating Heart souvenir though.
-
I like the idea of missions being worth more XP than sweeping, and sweeping being worth more Inf/Prestige. Makes sense, when you think about it.
-
The Bull Ant..? Oh, I think I might know why. The Bull Ant is roughly as hard as a Freak Tank on his own, without the selfrez, but I remember taking heat exhaustion away from the magma ants due to the mind-bending levels of frustration it caused me and gave them Forge to compensate. Re-testing and seeing if that's making the Bull Ants that get forged totally invincible. I'll also move all of the bull ants on the map to the "Middle" group so that they aren't camping the door. Thanks for the heads-up.
EDIT: Alright, replayed the Catalyst TF. Cripes, this thing is difficult. Much more pleasurable experience, here's my list.
[*]Suggest downgrading Legion somehow, either back to Lieutenant or taking Dreadful Wail/Disruption Field away
[*]Catalyst ambush is bugged, you're ambushed by Catalyst Hounds (Attrition, Oblivion, Misery) instead of Catalyst Hounds Legion
[*]Awkward compass text in mission 3(?) for Misery, the "final Misery clone". Suggest changing to singular and not plural
Long Feedback:
Much different experience this time. The amazons are actually fairly dangerous due to that KO blow, and the archers can be a nightmare if not quickly killed due to mass tarpatches. The healers showing up among the peons is an interesting twist as well.
Something I noticed but didn't mention last time is that the mission 3 compass text to beat up Misery is somewhat awkward as explained above. Not much to say there.
The changes to Legion made her a seriously tough customer. I would almost say too tough in the final encounter, I was soloing this and had to basically pull them one at a time and kill them. Mass-Legions wouldn't have been bad as LTs, but they're now dozens of times more threatening individually. I'd say take away their dreadful wail and disruption field. They'd be tough but not nearly as much so now.
I'm thinking that they were meant to be in groups, but they're still accompanied by normal Catalyst Army mobs. Intentional or not?
A slight bug in the Catalyst encounter, the ambush is actually made up of Catalyst Hounds and not Catalyst Hound Legions. I'm not sure which would have been harder, but dear god is that a difficult encounter. I prevailed in the end though. This TF is much less monotonous and is still challenging, easy five-stars from me for the unique contact style and epic feel.
