What's a "pink"?
Quote:Third... PVP farming is cheating, no two or three ways around it. You are simply cheating. How dare you get mad at me for killing you when YOU are the one cheating. How dare you threaten me in game in anyway, be it dev notification for killing you, kicking me from a channel or whatever.
If they kick you from a channel, well, they have just revealed themselves as tools. These are good people to avoid.
Quote:I do not attack everyone all the time either so why all the crying? Why are people I have never attacked in Warburg getting on my case? Why are my ex's friends getting on his case? What is wrong with you all? -
It's not dead where I play. Heard it at least 20 times today during a task force. (Not saying that 20 levels were earned - each ding got multiple gratzes.)
-
Cold Domination can. Frostwork can give the buff pet.... I think it's around 550 hit points. Then slap the shields on it and suddenly you've got a pretty durable sidekick.

Two comments:
1) You give a time, but not a time zone.
2) I normally run something for my SG at 8:30 EST. If I run the red one first, we'll probably be done by 9 and I'll join you (assuming you're Eastern time zone).
Anyway, look for me online.

@Ironblade Too
I'm on Inf Badge Seeker, Infinity Badges 2.0, Infinity TFs, AE Anonymous. -
I would buy Radiation Armor just because I have taken every set except Super Reflexes to 50 already, and am currently working on the SR tank.

Quote:Yes, it still has the END crash. Also, does perma-hasten still have the small end-crash? So auto-hasten could be a bad idea in some cases?
No, that does not make auto-firing it a bad idea - in my opinion.
All of my toons with perma-hasten, or anywhere near perma, have it auto-fire. -
Quote:I was involved in that experiment. Our best guess for the seed was that it related to the names - possibly character names, possibly global. We didn't have someone switch toons to see if they ended up in the same order. We figured it was random enough since the situation we set up (only one item for sale and the exact same group of bidders each time) is not something that would occur in game or that could be taken advantage of.I don't know how the seed is created or when it is created either that's just a general comment on pseudo-random number generators. If you feed them the same seed and restart they will generate their output in the same order everytime. Good pseudo-random generators will seed off whitenoise from the electronics in the computer and so be much less likely to get the same seed during different runs. I seriously doubt the devs care that much about the random order in small samples to develop or use a really high-end pseudo-random generator.

I know, right? I've seen posts stating that the forum problem is a "subscription cancelling issue" for some people. I dunno about others, but I'm paying money to play the game.
-
Red or blue side? Or are you an alignment that can do both?
A friend of mine needs the redside badge so I'll probably run the treespec at some point. -

Quote:This. The hostility you are perceiving isn't directed entirely at the people that overpay for things at the market. To be more accurate it is directed at the subset of that group that insist on overpaying and then subsequently complain
Seriously. No one cares if someone overpays. Well, maybe the seller cares, but in a positive way. No one has any hostility toward people who overpay. At worst, they might feel amusement or mild contempt. Mostly, though, no one cares.
However, when someone comes in here and complains about how they had to pay too much for something.... "Had to"? Was someone holding a gun to your head? Was there a timer on your money? You can have it *NOW* or you can have it at a reasonable price. And let's keep in mind that supply and demand determine a reasonable price - not the skinflint who screams the loudest. -
Quote:My response that you quoted was talking about the timer. Now, you are talking about ELIGIBILITY to earn A-Merits. That WAS changed. When the SSA's first came out, any hero or villain could earn A-Merits. Then it was changed so that you had to CONFIRM your hero or villain status in order to earn A-Merits.from whats been said it was adressed as a bug but that is a change since i ran the first part of the arc several times and then when part 2 came out ran them both and was still getting astral merit and hero merit for each
This is because people would create a new toon, level it to 10, get the A-Merits, spend them, delete the toon and repeat. To do something similar now, you have to get to 20 in order to have access to tip missions, then spend 2 days confirming your alignment.
Quote:the change syncing the timers for them all wouldnt bother me if it was a 24 hr timer then when the 7 part arc is done you could run 1 a day but 7 missions with a maximum of 4 rewards per week? seems like we get short changed a little
Each arc gives you ONE free run (per character) that does not trigger the timer. After that, all of the arcs use the same one-week timer. As for being short-changed, well, that's your opinion. But it was ALWAYS that way.
Also keep in mind, that one-week timer is PER CHARACTER. I have over 15 characters that have confirmed their alignment and can earn A-Merts. -
Quote:Not funny to YOU. I think they're hilarious. I have a text file on my computer where I collect them.Nope. Wouldn't even have been good years ago. Because the Chuck Norris meme was never even remotely funny. Period.
Also, I'm a fan of Chuck Norris (aside from Walker, Texas Ranger). I had a poster for 'Good Guys Wear Black' in my room. -

OMG! It had to happen. The game that had commercials with Mr. T and Ozzy Osbourne now has one with Chuck Norris. And it actually uses some of the classic lines.
"Chuck Norris is a hunter, but Chuck Norris does not 'hunt', because 'hunting' implies the possibility of failure."
"There are 10 millions players in ###, because Chuck Norris allows them to live."
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Quote:We're talking about FIRST WARD.Okay, gotcha. That clarifies it a bit. Would still leave pre-20 Praetorians in somewhat of a limbo though, wouldn't it? Without contacts, they can't get the mission to choose Hero or Villain and leave Praetoria.
Any "pre-20 Praetorian" can't get missions there ANYWAY, since First Ward starts at level 20. Furthermore, the mission to choose Hero or Villain is in the original Praetorian zones, NOT First Ward. -
Quote:As I recall, the character with the actual power of Group Fly will fly faster than the characters to which they are granting flight. Therefore, you should set the character with the power as the follower and maneuver the character being granted flight.Follow with Fly or Hover on works much better than follow on foot. Follow with Group Fly can work well too, provided that the character doing the following is at least as fast than the character being maneuvered.
I run two accounts pretty often. I run in windowed mode and will set each window to the full screen height and about 80% of the width with one flush on the right and one on the left. This gives me a wide bar at each side of the monitor where I can click to switch which instance has the focus.
Typically, I'll spend most of the time running a character like a scrapper or tank while the second account is a buffer or debuffer - someone who doesn't need to be active during combat to be effective. -
Quote:Maybe English is not his primary language.Wow. You have a degree in computers? Shenannigans. There's no way you passed your test with such atrocious typing skills.
Quote:2. No, you don't have to double-install to install the upgrade and activate it on a blank drive.
Sometimes you can do a clean install with an upgrade disk, and it will work.
And sometimes you can do the same things and it will make you do the second install.
There's some variable. Maybe not all upgrade disks are the same, maybe it relates to the hardware. -
