It's sad that the focus of the world today is on profit, do it well enough to attract customers, but you don't have time to do it right, because you have to work on the next big thing to attract customers. I can see someone in NCSoft saying, "Well at least some people will have Enhancement Converters, that's good enough." It's sad that we as customers have to deal with this, because every MMO does it.

The best server is the one I'm on. The name of the server doesn't even matter; it's home.
Since you mention population as a consideration (and I didn't see anyone else mention this), the servers are sorted by 'load'. The last server that you logged in to will be listed at the top. After that, they are sorted by 'server load' with the heaviest load at the bottom of the list.
Note:
1) The list exceeds the window size so you have to scroll to see all servers.
2) Server load is not directly mapped to server population, but it's a reasonable proxy and the only metric we can see. -

Does the store interface list the mastermind AT even if you can't buy it? If so, items that are on sale for a limited time generally show a countdown (in hours) of how long they will be on sale. This doesn't directly help your issue, but at least you'll KNOW how long it will be on sale.
How close are you to being Tier 5? At that point, you permanently unlock access to masterminds and controllers. -

Without logging in to check, I would estimate that he has 4 open slots across all six trays. And the main reason for those is so that temp powers in the iTrials have a place to drop so I don't have to search my powers window. -

If that were true, it might be enough, but it's just not true. A Vigilante can't just jump villain side and do missions. You need a team leader who is villain or rogue taking missions for you to make that possible. All you can do by jumping sides is radio/paper and then acting is a passenger in someone else's missions.
Just to reiterate the blindingly obvious: whether side-switching is sufficient reward is ENTIRELY subjective opinion. -

With 200 million influence, you can buy a *STACK* of those IO's. Do *NOT* spend Alignment Merits on cheap junk like that! I put in low bids and let them sit. I have DOZENS AND DOZENS of -knockback IO's in case people in my SG need them. I think my main SG has 40 or so in one of the bins. -
