And this is 'by design' and 'working as intended'. Furthermore, most of the players think it's a good idea.

Quote:Yeah, it only does the 120 second part in a click power now. The 120 seconds on a toggle was deemed "not working as intended" and was changed.OK I just found out through slotting it, that Kismet: +6% Acc is useless to me slotted in invisibility because even though it says it grants a bonus for 120 seconds it doesn't, it shuts off as soon as I un-toggle the power, and can actually attack something.

It will give the bonus to you, for 120 seconds after using the power. I have this IO in Combat Jumping so it's always on when I'm fighting.Quote:My question is: if I move this unique to Grant Invisibility, will it still give me the 6% bonus? Or will it give the bonus to the person Im casting it on?
The Karma -KB IO works differently, same as everyone's favorite - Luck of the Gambler +7.5% recharge. Both of these will work just fine even if they are in a power that is NEVER turned on. I have a couple of characters who took powers only to hold one of these IO's.Quote:I currently have a Karma: +KB resist in Grant Invis, and it gives me just enough resistance for my rad/MM blaster, If I move it to invisibility, will it not give me the +KB resistance when Im not invisible? -
You can also watch your hit rolls the way I do it. Your roll to hit is part of the 'combat spam' messages. I created an extra chat tab called "Hit" that only displays my to-hit rolls. I normally have it hidden, but when something seems odd, I can click to it and scroll back to see exactly what was happening in a fight.

Quote:Just to play devil's advocate: if the dev's refuse to address what is/is not an exploit,This is not the first time that AE has been EXPLOITED in this manner. The devs previously explained what was considered an exploit, and what consequences the exploiters might suffer.Quote:
Until someone comes out right and says "we consider this an exploit, stop doing it," and puts some sort of proper internal testing in place so they can stop introducing these bugs over and over, I can't support punishing the playerbase for it.
It's not their fault if people have short memories. -

Quote:Email some items or funds to another toon and use those slots, too.Unfortunatly I have hit a market jam. All of my slots are full and nothing has moved for a bit. I am think of pulling some uncrafted receipes I had up for 100 and just vendoring them to clear the space. Think I have 18 slots to work with at the moment.

Quote:Or:Actually mike, you are the one "trolling" here. Because you are not getting the responses you want you are resorting to arguing and trolling. The way you are going about recruiting is wrong. Accept that, change your ways and move on.
Conclude that it's a matter of opinion and no one is going to change theirs, accept that, and move on (ditch a now-pointless thread). -

You seem confused. They are moving the physical location of the existing servers. They are not setting up any new servers, nor are they merging servers.

The first part of your wish has been granted. Sadly, it has not prevented the second part from occurring.

Yes. For all purposes (whose bases they can enter; what contacts will talk to them; getting badges; etc), not involving alignment merits/missions/powers, Rogues count as villains.

I've never had a problem related to my system. As an example of something NOT related to my system: the fun and games with Sharkhead locking up.
I started on a Pentium 4 with 1GB of RAM and integrated video on Win XP Pro. After playing a month, I got a Radeon 9600XT.
Then I used a Core2 Duo with 2GB RAM and an NVidia 7950GT and Win XP Pro.
Now I have a Core i7 870 with 8GB RAM and a Radeon 5850 with Win 7 Pro. (And the system has a 128GB SATA3 solid state drive so it flies.)
I built all of them.
P.S. Seeing this line "We are connected on 1Gb broadband." from mereman, I'll add that I'm on a Verizon DSL connection that absolutely sucks ###. -
Type /netgraph 1
at the chat line. This will turn on graphing and let you see how the game connection is doing. It should be short, green lines moving across the screen. Let us know what it looks like when you get the lag and/or post a screenshot of it. Type /netgraph 0 to turn it off.
Also, is it EXACTLY every minute? Seriously, time it with a stopwatch. If it's at a regular interval, it's some device (maybe your computer, maybe something else) on a regular cycle. -
I'm in with.... somebody. My new tank did this TF Friday so he already has TF Commander and my new controller is way too low. hmm......

Well, I think everyone who signed up showed. Plus we had some people who had apparently seen the message and decided to show up, then we added a few off global channels. We ended up with two teams of 8.

The only down side was that I only got 16 merits, since I had done the TF the previous night.

Quote:(shrug) You were a jerk first in that exchange.I admit I got a bit out of hand with my responses but I just hate sarcastic jerks
Oh and also, who here calls asking someone to join your SG threw a tell 'Spamming'?
And I certainly don't call it "spamming" when I receive *ONE* message from someone.
edit: On re-reading it, I'm not sure which messages are from the OP. Not that it really matters. Both were unpleasant. -

Ambushes are different. If it's a 'targeted' ambush, they will even go after a hidden stalker.

As I recall, the price was the same but they added free time.

Quote:hmm... I guess we could all start with ridiculous examples and stupid hyberbole. Doesn't really serve much purpose though, does it?If we gonna really differentiate, the hard way...
Then Melee should have no status effects as secondaries or primaries, after all isn't that what Controllers do?
Then Melee should have no ranged attacks at all, after all isn't that what Blasters do?
Then Melee should have no self heal or access to self heal, isn't that the job of a Defender?
Then Melee should not have built-in damage boosts, once again, isn't that the Defender's job? -
My main character took, all by level 14, Combat Jumping, Recall Friend (I'm a team player!) and Super Jump.
After 40, when he started doing Shard TF's and badge-hunting in PvP zones, he added Teleport.
Even though I have enough vet status now to skip the prerequisites for the travel powers, I still have both CJ and Recall plus SJ and Teleport. Why? Because I'm accustomed to having them. I took Aid Other to work on healing badges (on a scrapper) and kept it because it's convenient to heal teammates between fights.
The reason I could take these extra powers without being at all gimped is that his secondary is /regen so I skipped the Fitness pool.
I also have an empathy defender with Hover, Fly, Recall Friend and Teleport. Interestingly, he ALSO skipped the Fitness pool. -
Quote:Last time I checked, killing the enemy during a war was acceptable to any government.I'd argue that Statesman isn't all that much less gray than Manti, either. Remember, he's the guy who used lethal force in the first Rikti War,
Bizarre example for you to pick, don't you think?
