Whenever I see someone stating certainties about possible future events, I wonder what their agenda is. When they then preemptively dismiss anyone who disagrees with them as fanboys, their comments become even more suspect.

The overwhelming majority of Kahn TF's do *NOT* get done in 20 minutes. It gives 30 merits. That means the median completion time was datamined at way the hell over 20 minutes (more like 90).

YOU'RE kidding, right? Getting the 50 badge is no big deal at this point. I've got 27 out of 50 so far, having run the TF only once today and spent a lot of time on a clear all ITF yesterday.

Ah, good. That would be consistent with my plans.

I'll probably bring Ironblade. If we need debuffs, my earth/rad needs the component from this TF. I have a couple of tanks that need the Notice, but it seems we already have a tank.

    BINGO!

I was chatting with someone while the teams were forming up and they said they had been playing with you the previous night and you gave the impression that you would be on for the TF.

I replied, "Well, Doc is notorious for being late."

I have to agree. On the Council Empire map from Unai, when you 'paint' the map you spawn EVERYTHING and there is no noticeable lag. But the Boomtown map in the Kahn TF is a disaster. Something is different about it.

There is not. And, by the nature of the game, there can't be.

    No and no.
The task forces for Notices DO NOT need to be level 50 content.
There is nothing about courtesy or etiquette here. It was a design decision and plenty of people LIKE it. We get that you don't like it, but to say that it is bad, wrong or mistaken is ridiculous. You don't like it. No more, no less. Other people do.

Well, we have been told that level of the enemy does not affect chance for drops. i.e. You can fight 50's, 51's or 52's and the odds do not change. We know this.

In light of this, it seems a reasonable 'conclusion' that your being 50 or 51 also will not affect the odds.

Or I might not bring him.
I've run this 4 times Tuesday evening, 3 Wednesday, 4 Thursday. I imagine I'll do 3 or 4 on Friday and the Saturday TF would be within the time limit for Diminishing Returns so the merits would be pretty scrubby.

That ain't gonna work until the right TF comes along tho
Based on the TF's listed so far, Sister Psyche is the best one yet. I plan to try soloing it.
  12. They could use a point system for the reward. Say you need 300 points to get the final reward....
    200 pts - kill credit on U'kon Gr'ai
100 pts - team credit for planting a bomb
50 pts - kill credit on a bomb grate
20 pts - kill credit on a pylon
1 pt - kill credit on a Rikti on the ship

You could focus on high point value actions or just go all Buck Wild on the Rikti.

If I don't get a quick invite on my scrapper, I just start a team myself.

But for Kahn? There is nothing tricky about Kahn! 1 def. debuffer and the rest can be damage, no prob. (Yes, I did it once without a def. debuffer a few months ago. We finished it, but it was a loooooong process to slowly whittle down Reichs. So "needed"? No. Good idea? Oh, yeah.).
I did it the other night with 1 tank and 7 damage dealers. Reichsman was a bit slow, but we zipped through all the other missions.

No, you're wrong. What you mean is that YOU don't like it. There is no right or wrong about it; it's entirely subjective. Personally, I think it's great. Currently, there just isn't enough level 50 content to restrict the WST's in that manner.

Exactly. Across a long period of time, or across many players, it's random. But it occasionally decides to hate on someone and messes with their drops.

I may have to head back to Freedom and the good channel I have there. But it seems really odd to be stuck on one server because no one programmed a super simple piece of code into the game.
A little less assuming and more inquiring, perhaps.
In fact, there is code to kick inactive members from a channel. Unfortunately, it does not currently work. So it's not like no one ever thought of this.
  18. All of my 50's (21 of them) have the Alpha Slot unlocked.
I've been running the WST's the most on my badge hunter (a scrapper).
My stone tank is Alpha'ed up to tier 3.
    My earth/rad with perma-hasten / perma-AM is up to tier 2.

So yeah, 2 of my 3 slotted Incarnates are 'useful' on task forces.

Two for one sale? I'm guessing you made a typo there, but I can't figure out what you meant . . . . .

We're aware of that. And we STILL think that it's a great idea to include the lower level task forces / strike forces.

ED applies to *ALL* enhancements: training, DO, SO, IO, HO, purple, PvP.
Where ED does *NOT* apply is to the invention set BONUSES. The set bonuses are applied AFTER ED.

    2. You will get double xp.
    3. Will we get double merits automatically since we haven't the alpha arc?
    4. Will we get Notice of Well since the toon is not level 50 and has not completed the alpha arc?
When you complete a Weekly Strike Task the first time in a week, you get:
    - Bonus XP, if you can earn XP.
    - Notice of the Well, if you have the Alpha Slot unlocked.
    - Bonus merits. Period. No conditions. (As long as it's your first run, of course.)

    The Weekly Strike Task rewards:
    - bonus XP
    - bonus merits
    - Notice of the Well (if you have your Alpha Slot unlocked)
