Think they could have the Mothership Raid as the WST?

Temporarily add a few recipes to the Vanguard workbenches? 150 Vmerits for a Notice, 300 Vmerits for 600 Vmerits, 300 VMerits for 5 bars of XP perhaps?

If they have a one week timer on it, maybe. Although nothing really stops someone from spending old tickets from weeks beforehand for the recipes.

Sure, but still. It'd be a reasonable approximation of the WST's rewards.

Also there'd need to be a way to count it towards badge credit.

Two for one sale? I'm guessing you made a typo there, but I can't figure out what you meant . . . . .

If you choose the merit reward at the end of a WST instead of the Incarnate reward (or if the merit reward is your only option), you get double the merits. I assume buying 600 Vanguard merits for 300 is an approximation of that, and would be a one-time purchase.

They would, of course, have to link the one-time to all three choices. Otherwise, the only sensible thing to do is craft the 2-for-1, then buy a notice with your extra.

How would they distinguish between who gets the Notice of the Well and who doesn't. Does a person that started the raid 10 minutes before the raid ends gets the Notice and the merits? Also they could have Hamidon as a WST since it is basically the same as far as being an outdoor event that grants shards.

I doubt Hamidon and Mothership Raids will ever be a WST. There are far more TFs/SFs to do.

The first step in being sane is to admit that you are insane.

They could link the WST rewards to defeating U'kon Gr'ai.

That would not be a good idea either.

There are ALOT of people for a mothership raid, and it can be very hard to get any damage counted for your team with so many other things going on.

I can tell you, I did alot of mothership raids to get the badge credit for Master-at-Arms, and I probably did 1.5 to 2 times the amount of raids needed because on some raids I would get no credit at all for the Ukon Grai defeat, and I was "homing" in on Ukon EVERY time he spawned, and he spawned every raid I did.

And I would be VERY upset if getting a reward, beyond badge credit or limited time reward (ala the CoP buff), would be tied to a Trial like this.

They could use a point system for the reward. Say you need 300 points to get the final reward....
200 pts - kill credit on U'kon Gr'ai
100 pts - team credit for planting a bomb
50 pts - kill credit on a bomb grate
20 pts - kill credit on a pylon
1 pt - kill credit on a Rikti on the ship

You could focus on high point value actions or just go all Buck Wild on the Rikti.

If they did this it'd probably be around 2000 vmerits for a notice.
