The site on Wikia is NOT complete or up to date. ParagonWiki was hosted there briefly but was moved away (because Wikia sucked) quite some time ago. The site at ParagonWiki.com is maintained and updated by the creator, as well as the players.

FYI, you may also see an address for the wiki that is wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki. This is the same site as paragonwiki.com. And when I say "the same", I don't mean it's two sites with the same content. I mean that both of those URL's link to the same site.

How much 'extra'? I would say none. Yes, I have bought points, and quite a few. However, I used to buy every boxed expansion and almost every booster pack (for both of my accounts). So I'm probably spending about the same as previous.

It doesn't concern me in the slightest. I work at a company that sells specialty steel strip. We have a handful of customers to whom we sell over a million pounds a year, and a great many more that we sell less than 50,000 lbs a year (plus many in between, of course). The small customers have value because we gain diversification across different types of markets (i.e. commercial construction vs timber industry vs do-it-yourself vs metalwork etc).

I dispute this. I think the snark is related to the attitude of the individual dishing it out. The question could be brilliant and some people will still be snarky as all hell.

  9. No, they're saying they created a product with a distinctive appearance, trademarked that appearance, and someone is ripping it off. That's all they need to say.
  10. Pacific Daylight Time (west coast of the U.S.).
i.e. Pacific time after you take into account Daylight Saving Time.

No, you have a basic misunderstanding there. The badges that are now handed out as you buy your way up the rewards tree were given out EVERY THREE MONTHS as the 'Vet Badges'.

The ANNUAL badges were introduced with Issue 21 and relate to length of time subscribed ONLY. Unfortunately, the changes in the billing system for Freedom broke them.

Actually, at a glance, it looks like they have a decent case. They have a trademark on distinctive features of the briefcase that Marvel blatantly copied.

Terminator 2 vs Terminator 1 is also a pretty classic example of a series that got better with the second film.
Let's not forget 'Star Trek:The Motion Picture', followed by 'The Wrath of Khan'. The first film was an atrocity. The second was one of the best Star Trek films. That's a series that has been really hit or miss. Some of the films were truly awful and some were great.

eh, it's probably okay if you're weird to start with. I used to keep a dream journal and had numerous dreams in Lovecraft's settings back when I first read his works.

Michael Shea wrote kind of a sequel, in Lovecraft's style, many years later: The Color Out of Time.

I could never understand the appeal of this approach. Having the character planned out in advance would make the actual playing of the character feel like a chore to me. I don't plan my characters in advance AT ALL. When I level and get a new power, I head to the trainer and see what's available. I may pick a power immediately, or I may go do some research and pick later, but I don't know in advance what I will be taking. The only exceptions are a few key powers - any blaster is going to take their Tier 9 blast at level 32. My stone tank took Granite Armor at 32. A controller will get their pets ASAP.

All the others powers are, "Ooooo! Let's see what I can pick from!"

Having said that, I do have an Excel workbook with a ton of charts and tracking information. I have a page to track what characters have done which Signature arcs and how many Alignment Merits they have earned. I have a page to track my inf and which characters are holding how much. I have a page to track the Incarnate progress of my 50's. I have a page to track my Paragon Points on each account. etc. etc.

If you think about it, though, all these spreadsheets track results and progress - not future plans.

    All of them.

While I don't actually have any tank that took all 9 powers from the secondary, they all COULD HAVE. I have a couple of tanks with 8 powers from the secondary who also have Recall Friend and a travel power. I have several tanks with NO travel power (who use Ninja or Beast Run) so the ones with a travel power could easily have skipped it to take an extra power from the secondary.

Once upon a time, when the Fitness pool was not inherent, that was 3 extra powers you really needed to take. Now, you can easily take every power from both your primary and secondary. But most of the time, in my opinion, the powersets don't actually have nine powers worth taking.

Edit: That last line refers to secondary sets. Most of my tanks take all nine powers in the primary.

That cushion, coupled with a bit more from having more than one just the foe in range of Invincibility, works pretty well to keep my defense at 32+, soon climbing back toward the soft cap, no matter how bad the swarms of Romans are.
My invuln has absolutely no defense from IO sets, so they start off with decent odds to hit him and take his defense down in short order. However, even after they drop his defense so they are hitting 95% of the time, they still can't kill him because he has almost +360% regen.
