For the few of us PB's that like to PvP, what do you guys like better for the Destiny Ageless or Rebirth?
Rebirth alll the way.. imho whatever res you get from others will be DR'D and def is iff these days.. but a heal is a heal.. one hit your back to where you were.. so that person has to fight through that same hp again.. then you just heal again.. thats why regen's are so annoying... but thats my opinion.. maybe mercury can chime in...

The radial allows me to free up some slots by providing some benefit in other areas (namely end mod and run) beside damage.

My bolt has four damage procs and 59 acc/rech/damage. My glinting eye has 64ish acc, 96 damage, 37ish end/rech and 3 damage procs. The achilles -res proc is kinda meh after finding out it does not affect the damage of the unresistable procs, only the resistable ones. You'll still get the benefit from increased damage from your power's damage but I prefer the unpredictable burst damage from the procs.
aaa yeah.. i have aleast one resisted proc in each attack and 2 in eye.. but thats still good to know.. didnt know that about achielles.. is that intended or just a bug they dont decide to fix? also end mod from the radial is it worth it?

And for those PBs who enjoy PVP: the Judgement powers, and Lore pets have boosted PB's by giving them burst damage (something the've never quite had even with Incan Strike and Photon Seekers) and rebirth has made them even harder to kill. Reactive interface would be all kinds of awesome if it worked in arena as well as zones (as it stands it is great for zone play.) That's some nice sustained damage, something PBs also needed in PVP.

The -tohit interface procs and some Alpha Slots are not functioning in Arena too. Given that it's PVP I don't foresee any fixes any time soon.

The Ion Judgement power is also bugged in a lolzy way. It's chance to jump from one target to another can jump from the first target to the first target over and over again. AND the jumps are apparently getting buffed from damage buffs (ala build up) although this part I can not confirm. I have seen one single target get jumped by ION multiple times. It probably has to do with the target not getting flagged as already hit or something like that. It's pretty funny to see a tank with 3500 hp get essentially one-shotted )

Yeah it is funny.. got a scrap to half life yesterday.. then hit ion and before he could he he was dead...

As for the musculature like mercury said the one on the right side that gives you 45% dmg is awesome because.. it allows you to slot up to 3 dmg procs and not suffer from loss of dmg... Now on my pb i have 3 dmg procs in each attack except for bolt which is only 2.. Add that with Achilles heel, and the reactive fire proc and -res + our natural -def, anyone with shields or relies on shields is basically effed..

The longer they fight without interference and you have your 3 heals up you will kill them..

and my build is not even that expensive, so i can imaging the pbs with purpled/pvp io builds.. it must be murder...

Rebirth is the BEEEESSSST THING TO happen to pbs.. To me it always seem that the devs designed pbs to be a lil of invuln and a lil of regen - the good parts so as instant healing and invincible.. Rebirth basically just gave us instant healing .. Although not as strong its still a great heal, and some good regen.. that stacks well with dull pain hp buff.. Right now im sitting on a 800+ heal with essence boost, 500+ with reform essence, and 700+ with rebirth.. and they all recharge fast.. So with added shields I have a pseudo regen, and i still have qflight/dwarf+dwarf heal, and unstop for those o crap moments.

All in all i love these new changes, finally pbs get something.. i love it..
  4. My incarnate slot for my human/dwarf pb

    Alpha: Musculature tier 3
    Interface: Reactive tier 3
Destiny: The one that gives regen lol... tier 3
    Judgement: Ion tier 2

Almost to my lore .. and already have the threads for it going.. with ma warworks...

    Human only PB?

For human only u should focus on building a energy/regen/invuln blapper..

Meaning all emphasis on melee powers shields and heals..

Also scooop up muscilar for more dmg. Rebirth for the extra heal and the -res lore for even more dmg

Proc up.. i have atleast 3 dmg procs in all my attacks..

    gl
  6. Definitely going with

Destiny: Rebirth, Radial side, for my human dwarf pb. We already have dullpain so a mini Instant healing/heal power would be nice power..

Interface: -res/fire more dmg for my proc stack pb = awesome sauce.

Everything else is not necessary... get them when i get them

yeah either go human dwarf or full human.. and get the full benefits... with pool powers you can make a pretty sick toon

i think soto had a human build that is floating around that is crazy expensive. basically all the attacks were proc/nuc slotted and all the res/heal powers used glad armors and pana's for HP buffs.

the easiest thing to do is slot nova for doing damage and dropping out to heal(while still slotting for HP) since most of the attacks have a higher range and still do some ok damage. but flying in zone is very risky.

in this specific situation, the pb wins hands down because WS are just that bad in pvp, not because pbs are that good in pvp. they just kind of happened to have all the stuff that was least hit by i13.
Well PBs are way better off than melee toons in post i13 pvp imho.. my pb is the most versatile toon i have now.. i dont like playing my blaster.. and all my current melee toons are now obsolete, and until i get my dom or my kin scrap up, my pb is my only hope of fun in pvp.

My build is not all that expensive either.. Its a copy of Mecury Dawn's build (which is really expensive.) I took his build and made the cheaper versions.. it has about 200 less hp.. and about 150 less recharge, heals are a lil weaker, and weaker dmg procs. but it gets the job done.. I will post my build but, if you want his pm him directly.

Its a human/dwarf build.... you really only using dwarf for escape and extra healing.. everything else is emphasis on making a blapper.

Some of mids numbers are off but in real life, i have 1600 hp (2100 with essence boost, capped when in dwarf). In pvp about 45% resistance to all dmg give or take 2%. 250+% regen, 90% recharge. 22 sec recharge on reform esssence, essence boost has about a 10 sec downtime.

  11. i actually fought a shade a couple of days ago 1 vs 1 in rv.. it was no contest.. i didnt even need to switch to dwarf.. and he had to stay in dwarf almost the whole fight.. and after he died he use Stygian return and switch to dwarf and i killed him again.. my life barely moved beyond a quarter...

i told him if he wanted to pvp with a kheld just make a pb ... and gave him my ws build for pve..

ws = way better in pve
pb = way better in pvp

    of the two...

ps. also it didnt help that im sitting on 1600 hp without dwarf and essence boost.. and i have 2-3 attack procs in each attack.. and achielles heel.. there is really no contest between the two.

lol joe it seems we keep ending up in the same place.. and if not the rage, or an overall dmg buff.. then i agree the answer is with seekers.. shorter recharge would do the trick..

also im still down for MOG light form revamp... that just my opinion though
  13. Nah just go rage.. it would increase human form dmg.. and go over into forms.. rage is soo much better for pb than build up
  14. i just realize yesterday... that my pb has more versatility and survivability than all my scraps.. i hate post i13 pvp.. eventhough im happy about my pb.. i would like to chop some one in the head with a sword outside of pve...

    Time to make a dominator
  15. i hear ya.. did a respec this morning to test out divine.. nothing like pre i13.. lol. guess that era is over.. so resist energies s it is.. i figure there is more energy attacks out there that i need more prot from.. and end drain from thermal/ice assualt can be some what resisted.

This is the last respec im doing for this toon..

lol would like to play something other than my psi blaster or my pb.. god i hate post i13 pvp lol
  16. resist elements/energy or divine avalance which would net more survivability... im redoing my kat/invuln scrap and thats the toss up..

Granted i already have tough weave.. maneuvers and shadow meld.
  17. Peacebringers and warshades should get there color changers..

and the corresponding powers should have the same animation change like the other AT'S

IE solar flare, get the footstomp change..

IS gets a change.. and so on so forth

lol i remember that.. dont remember what side i was on though...

But instead of making the shields defensive.. (cause im more biased towards resistance).. we make light form more like Moment of Glory .

MoG: def based+ resistance + less recharge so we can use it more+ shorter duration so we not locked out of forms. But the duration at 30sec and put the base recharge to 300 (enhanceable.)

WS on the other hand i always believe they should be Def base.. since they have a def based toggle in the set. and then leave eclipse resistance base.. so thats where ws would get their resistance stacking. Then give black dwarf a aoe heal.

Which - on a shapeshifting archetype - sort of defeats the point, don't you think?
true. lol after you said invoke panic and stealth i was like ... hmm.. but if u really think about it would it really limit the other forms? cause then your just fighting for slots.. if you make dwarf strong, then human and or nova would be garbage.. and u will basically be playing a below average tank..

also what they good do instead would leave all your toggles on when you shift but suppress the benefits and suppress the end usage.. so when you switch back you don't have to retoggle.. this would make it feel more shape shifty like morp.. rather than switching back to human.. and retoggling 3 shields/tough/assault/tactics/acro/ss/and sj

It was actually a bit harder than I thought it would be. It seems backwards, but first I had to weight the crash. This is because the 10 seconds of no damage occurs outside of "Essence Build Up's" up time. I ignored the end discount and assumed that you would not be crazy enough to keep attacking during the crash. So I ended up with a new column called "Crash Weighted Damage" which subtracted those ten seconds of nothing from the total damage.

THEN I weighted that result against the uptime of our new luminous Rage clone. The result brought Peacebringer human DPS up from around 112 dps to just under 134 dps. The other totals are all on the sheet on the other end of that link if anyone's interested.

I'd be on board for this, provided they also brought photon seekers' recharge down to make them perma out of the box (insert unique flag caveat here, of course).

It's not reflected in the spreadsheet, but that would bring human st dps up to 158 dps. What was the total single target human WS dps? Oh yeah. 189.

EDIT - I just went back and looked at my suggestion of adding a 30 second 15% damage buff per seeker per explosion (along with a lowering of the recharge) - the resulting single target human dps? 158 dps. Heh. Yeah, I'd be on board for either.
Hhaha nice.. ok like the person said under you if we tried both.. the rage and the lowering of seekers then we would have a big change to pb..

also when i was talking about SoW vs unstop i was thinking the pvp version.. since we dont get much dmg resist out of it anyways in pvp .. im more looking at the crash+ recharge.. maybe they can just look at light form for pvp.. or make a new version of light form that incorporates the crash of SoW but the resistance and recharge of unstop.. idk

What do you think of pools except for travel working in forms? so that when you switch back and forth you dont have to toggling on stuff in middle of battle.. also alow the shields to come back on once you detoggle forms..

Lastly i think shades are alright where they are.. what i would like to see for shades though is mez prot per each person in mob in eclipse..
And a aoe heal in black dwarf like dark scrappers instead of the single heal.. god i hate that thing.
  22. Nice right up...

And i agree the fix for pb lies with light form and seekers and prob pulsar...

Light form Should be a more Strength of Will clone. Still have the resistance+ mez prot but shorter recharge.. And Recharge not enhanceable.

Seekers: keep same dmg but make recharge 60 sec enhanceable.

Pulsar Raise the mag to at least 3 extent the radius and raise the recharge 20 sec more.

And Lastly i always believe the build up should have been changed to Rage.. since most of the human form powers are Super Strength Clones.. Rage would match up nice plus it could easily carry into forms..

Also since the implementation of fitness carrying over into form, I definitely think the devs should make it possible for all pools to carry over except the travels. ie ss, sj, would be locked out.. but Hasten the leadership pool, tough weave, and all the pool attacks should work in forms...
  23. It goes off every once in awhile.. use only if you want to fill a slot.. cuase otherwise its really not worth it...

The better thing to use in nova or for the human form bolt or eye beam is the chance for build up in the range slot.. You can fire it every second and will see it go off more frequently..

When my pb was triform i had it in my first nova blast and it went off all the time..
  24. IronAlex

    Essence Mastery

like it but the pb renew essence is not needed we already have conserve.. i would trade that for a damage buff clicky which will fill the hold of build up recharging.. or a dmg toggle like Assualt
  25. how is the dmg compared to the other blast powers from leviathan, fire, and ext.. on a scrap in pvp
