resist elements/energy or divine avalance which would net more survivability... im redoing my kat/invuln scrap and thats the toss up..


Granted i already have tough weave.. maneuvers and shadow meld.

Resist Energies does more than protect against Energy and Negative Energy damage. It also prevents endurance drain. It is a significant utility power for not just high level play, but also for low level play where enemies such as Clockwork can rapidly eat away at your endurance.

Resist Elements also does more than protect you against fire, cold, and toxic damage. It also prevents slow debuffs. Again, a significant utility power for not just high level play, but also for low level play.

Sai is right. But for the wrong reasons. (I'm going to assume he still doesn't know what he's talking about since he's using pve examples in a pvp thread)

Res eng/elements is the way to go between the two but not for slows and end drain res. Slows are pointless in pvp an anything that has end drain is going to overcome the res in eng res and sapp you anyway. Divine avalanche is going to be hard to keep up on a moving target assuming you aren't lolfiteklubing.


Positron's i13 letter: We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.

i hear ya.. did a respec this morning to test out divine.. nothing like pre i13.. lol. guess that era is over.. so resist energies s it is.. i figure there is more energy attacks out there that i need more prot from.. and end drain from thermal/ice assualt can be some what resisted.

This is the last respec im doing for this toon..

lol would like to play something other than my psi blaster or my pb.. god i hate post i13 pvp lol
