Iceman started with Snow to protect himself before moving to Ice. Which I suppose can be viewed as level progression.
That or unlocking costume slots to switch away from looking like a giant snowman. -

They rock their respective build to the fullest of it's capabilities and demonstrate proper situational awareness while demolishing the enemy and supporting the team.

If you take away the punk hair and Skull masks and put them in all black, they essentially look like the Nihilists from Big Lebowski.

Statesman's alter ego was Johnny Knoxville. His death was faked so he could take more time to focus on surfing ontop of flaming shopping cart into a kiddie pool filled with thumbtacks.
